Hello, I have a problem on my Motorola Razr HD xt925 . I can't install the KitKat OTA update.
everytime when i try to do it stop without finishing and i see the logo with an androman die with an exclamation mark on it
in think the problem is from my recovery be cause i can't enter to recovery it's gave me the same logo
My Phone is rooted and bootloader unlocked
Please help me to update my phone to KK

Edit: i Just install clockwork mod but i still have the same problem when i trie install KK via ota update
When you see the android lying on his back,press vol+ and vol- at the same time.
Then another menu should appear,just select factory reset or something similar,I can't remember correctly

Re-flash your jelly bean firmware, because the phone doesn't have to be rooted or with custom recovery to install the KK OTA..
unroot doesn't work too.. Just flashing again your JB Firmware..

hahahaha i tried to Reflash with rsd lite but the processus stuck and cant finish he cant flash system ( he fail on step 17/24 )
so now i just have a bricked phone then i have also deleted the system cache and data with recovery (twrp)
i tried to flash it with fastboot and some command i found on the web but undone . But now when i tried to flash it again with RSD lite 6.1.4 he doesnt stuck on flash system 17/22 but he stuck on rebooting then he told me to reboot manually i do it but he stuck on unlocked bootloader warning screen . i tried to reflash custom recovery with fastboot and its done but i get some logs (can't mount data .....cant mount cache ...)

I was using ICS stock ... after reason a thread I successfully rooted, installed CWM 6.0.2.8 with mobile uncle and then I flashed it with jellybean v3 ROM .. for a few days got no problem... but yesterday when I tried to go on CWM recovery mode hen my phone got factory reset automatically...... I thought may be my fingers slipped ... then I tried again and again and every time whenever I pressed VOL up button to go in recovery mode..... it directly factory reset my phone.... I flashed to install stock recovery of Micromaxa110 and after that when I tried to go in recovery mode .. it also factory reseted and then showed me a android logo with some red warning on it... I pull my battery out and start again now .... and flashed cwm again.... but now didn't tried to go in recovery mode due to fear... if anyone knows the solution then plz help me out... my cwm recovery mode is resetting my phone thanks

bro. no need to flash full Rom.. ..rename clockworkmod recovery.. file to recovery.img and flash it through sp tools ...problem will solve
If nothing seems to work then try twrp recovery..flash it through sp flash tools or mobile uncle tools as per ur wish..

Thanks, actully problem was solved after 5 mins when i posted this thread,, but i was not able to find this thread to post the answer.
solution was right there when i reinstalled the stock recovery and again installed the cwm hehehehe,, it worked,, thank you all have a nice day
Ntg happen. Open ur flas tools and load the scatter load file 4.1.1 and then click start after the green ring appers. Its ok. Now the process of rooting. Now u can easily root ur mobile.

Do you had any recovery installed? Any recovery backup? Then u can use fastboot mode in flash tool. Any Problems faced during flashing?
No problems during the flashing its completed successfully.......and whenever i tried to install a recovery using fastboot mode its successfully flashed and again stuck at recovery logo......
is this a hard brick or what...?

hard brick means that you can't turn on the phone. Since you're able to see the logo, there's some hope.
Try flashing some other JB Kernel and then the stock ftf.

did you unlocked bootloader before? cause THAT happen if you dont....

Flash the stock recovery again. You can get it from the stock ROM flash file here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2792954
Also try some recoveries from there

sir I am using lollipop so kitkat recovery img will work or not

This is what I've been doing, Flash Ftf of Android 4.4.4 via Flashtools
Once its done I root it with Kingroot.apk
Once thats done install dualrecovery via PC
Once thats done boot into recovery, wipe and install Android 6.0.1 Prerooted
Once thats done I have Android 6.0.1 rooted and with recovery!!! NO!!!!
As soon as I boot into recovery I get stuck in a bootloop. So I then did it all again and when in Android 6.0.1 instead of booting into recovery as before, why not install dualrecovery again, maybe missing files is causing the issues??? NO!!!!!
Bootloop again. Can someone please help

Did you atleas wait 10-15 min? or u just reboot the phone? you need to wait it happens to me aswell its optimiziing in background whit out showing
Hello , I have a D6633 variant of the Xperia Z3 and I was using the Carbon 8.1 oreo rom . The problem is when I wanted to install a fresh version of it I accidentally pressed reboot system after I wiped system and data in TWRP . I then flashed the stock 575 firmware with flashtool with wipe user data and apps log enabled but after the flash my phone shows the sony logo then restarts again. I tried flashing a different kernel but didn't succeed . Also tried flashing the kitkat stock rom but didn't work. Is there any fix for my problem ???

Is your boot loader unlocked?
If yes, boot into fastboot mode. Flash a recovery via flashtool.
Then enter recovery and flash the ROM,GApps again.

Yes my bootloader is unlocked. I tried every recovery I could find and still , the phone reboots on sony logo

Okay. Just try flashing using cmd
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
