Temporarily Make my TF700 look like an s5 - Asus Transformer TF700

I need some help making my TF700 look like an S5 to the play store so I can download an app only available on the S5 - Resound Smart APP. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.resound.smart . I would like to test this with my hearing aids.
Is there a way to make this happen or can one of you that have an S5 download and create a TB backup of this app and send me a download link?
FYI sorry for the double post for you S5 users but I posted this on their forum as well.
Thanks
Mike

How are you making the watch faces?

I love all the custom watch faces you guys are making and want to join in--what are you using to make these?
Using Multi-Watch, you can preload watchfaces from Gearfaces.com on the Gear and then use the hands and change the backgrounds if you want.

Thanks. That app must be crazy good, I haven't played with it yet but hope to contribute soon.
will it take custom images for the hands or do you have to use hands that have already been made on another watch theme?

Currently you can't use it to load your own hands other than creating a watchface with the hands first and then pushing it to the watch itself. Once you do that, though, you can use those hands as the basis of other watchfaces. Developer has mentioned that the saving/exporting of watchfaces customized in his app is on the roadmap.
Apps to Gear Neo
Hello All,
I am new to this forum so I apologize if this topic is already been discuss. I have been trying to change the face of my Gear Neo since morning with no luck. I read many post even installed the Tizen IDE but still can't figure it out.
I am sure I am doing something wrong for sure because it can't be this difficult. I downloaded Watch Styler but that didn't work. The funny part is when I installed the watch styler I don't even see the new theme option.
I can't find Multi-Watch on google store or on samsung store. Can someone please help.
I have Galaxy S-4 running on Kitkat 4.4.2.
On the side note I did rooted my phone and have to restore it with stock rom because the gear manager wasn't working with rooted version.
I will greatly appreciate any help.

EDIT: is this a flashable zip?...

Updated Icon
Added this forum post as the web help link
So all you did was rename an awesome app like flowly and pawned it off as your own. Really lame dude. You weren't even original enough to change the icon you just rounded the corners

First off, if you were to keep up with that app you would know that guy abandoned it. Also he did not develop it at all. He used appyet just like I did, hence why I said "put together" I never said I developed that app ever. The icon is defiantly different, I am still looking for a new one but got this one for now due to the first one not displaying correctly for the notifications. I like Flowly a lot, but seeing that it would no longer be updated I decided to make one like it and keep it updated when appyet updated the code, and keep it current with all the new feeds. Also this is temporary while I work on my own that I actually developed, once that is done it will replace this one.
If flowly is abandoned and grilledbacon picked up where it was left off, I'm all for it. Good stuff, grilledbacon.
Thanks been looking for a replacement for blinkfeed now I can run nova prime again.
Thanks guys! Working on getting it on the Play Store should be soon now!
Thanks for carrying on the work of the flowly developer. Will there be ability to star articles? The ability to customize sources? Great work so far. Thanks again!

I would prefer that it open in my default browser dude. So that I can carry on reading articles in your app after the links have been opened in the browser. This way I can read on my browser later.
I really like the idea, good job. However, I'll wait till you put it on the Play Store to receive the updates immediately without having to visit this thread again and download the new APK. Another thing, can you please add Ardroid.com to the app (and yes, that's an "R", not an "N")? It is an Arabic news site.
Thank You, and keep up the good work!
I just looked in the Play Store and there's already a TechTalk... That might be a bit of a problem...
I'd actually like to be able to use both an in-app browser AND my default browser. BUT if I had to only have it one way, I definitely want to use my default browser. Also in regard to Flowly, which I still use religiously, thanks for picking up the ball after it's abandonment.

I have noticed that, too. But I think he can maybe change the name?
Just used the app for an hour. Ignore my earlier comments about needing an external browser. The current implementation is perfect.
However, I would still like the ability to delete some sources. Great work so far! Thanks Dev!
Awesome app, very nice to have all the news in one place, but the app icon is really plain. Maybe some material flare would be nice. I mean no offense by that. You did a great job getting it all into one app.

I'd assume so. But since I found this app because of a post in the XDA Portal I'd probably suggest changing the name before it becomes too widely known. Better to rename with 50 users than with 5000 users...

You could at least give credit to the original developer of the app in the OP.

Car Mode for Galaxy (works with mirrorlink)

Do you guys have the latest car mode for galaxy with mirrorlink? I think its version 3 and its only available on note 5 thru Galaxy Apps store. I need the apk file. Thanks!
What you could do is download a rom and get it from there
Its not preloaded,it has to be downloaded from galaxy apps store.
I was going to install it & copy the apk to post here but it's got pretty bad reviews. Users reporting it screws up your home & back buttons even after uninstall. I could always just restore a nandroid if really needed but I don't feel like doing all that right now. You're not able to download it on your phone?
I can't. Im trying to port it thats why im looking for a copy. Thank you. I hope you can give it a try
Ok, here's what I got installing it. One is the app, the other is some remote installer? Carmodestub.apk has always been in my stock based rom prior to installing, not sure if it's required for Carmode to work but I'm including it anyway just in case.

You know you can just edit your build prop to n5 then download from Sammy store. The s6 edge car mode is different as well if you want that one
Sent from my SM-N920C using Tapatalk
I can not install the file. I get an error saying file not installed.
I can not find the file on galaxy apps either. I have a Telus note 5, sm-n920w8.
Any help would new appreciated. I really love this app. Used it on my note 4 allot.
At first, I also couldn't find Car Mode in GALAXY Apps (UAE) so I called Samsung support and they said they would look into the problem and make it compatible with my device. I thought it's just another generic response, but less than 24 hours Car Mode re-appeared in GALAXY Apps with a slightly updated version number. You can download the APK file from the attachments. This version (3.xxx) is actually great for driving, and much improved from the Galaxy S5 (v0.1xxx) or even S6 (v2.xxxx). It is feature-rich now. It can work with HERE Maps which are more reliable and work offline, and can get location information from your contacts and calendar events (amazing feature) so you can easily select a person or event instead of searching the map. It stores the recent destinations just like a normal car navigation, and can also be configured to ask you if you want to save the parking location when you exit the car mode.

Thanks for and info. I still don't see it in my Galaxy app store, so I downloaded your provided APK. However, when I run the app, it tells me there is a new version of Car Mode and I need to update to continue (see attached), then dumps me out.

It's most probably because of the different ROM. I live in the UAE, and use XSG (open/unlocked) ROM. If you use a carrier device, you'll always get different things here or there. I am not sure you can flash other Samsung ROM's if you use USA carrier devices (different model numbers from the international version SM-N920C). However, just like I mentioned in the beginning of my post, you can contact Samsung and ask them to make it available. They did this in my case (or maybe it was just a lucky coincidence).
You can also try a direct link to the app in GALAXY App store, like this
Code:
http://www.samsungapps.com/appquery/appDetail.as?appId=com.sec.android.automotive.drivelink&equipID=SM-N920C
(change SM-N920C to your model number)

Good. I think we should (cautiously) give Samsung credit for their responsive support.
Also, may I ask you to upload the APK? I may give it a try myself but mostly for other people who may search the forums for it.

How do I get to the original downloaded APK? I searched the phone and only found CarmodeStub (that comes preloaded) and CarModeRemote, both of which are only a few hundred kb is size, not the 15 MB claimed in the Galaxy app store. If getting the APK requires root, we are out of luck as I'm on Verizon.
I'm starting to see more reviews for the app in the Galaxy app store though. So hopefully people can actually get to it now.

You can use an app like ES File Explorer File Manager which you can use to back up any app. There are a lot of similar apps but this one provides better names for the backed up apks (App name+vesion).

That's what I did (though I used Root Explorer instead of ES), searching everything I could for "carmode", and I got these reaults.

OK, you didn't find it because the apk name doesn't include the word "car", it's com.sec.android.automotive.drivelink
That's one reason why ES Explorer is much better. It is not simply a file browser or manager. The APP function is ES is a complete App management solution.
