Elephone has been one of the most active Chinese smartphone manufacturers as of late. This company usually manufactures very well-built mid-range smartphones, but lately, they’ve started releasing high-end devices. The company has first announced the Elephone P7000, a sleek looking high-end offering made out of metal. The Elephone ‘Vowney’ flagship(s) is expected to arrive soon, and the Elephone P8000 was showcased soon after the P7000’s release. The Elephone P8000 is a handset similar to the P7000, a slightly improved version if you will. This handset is also made out of metal and sports some really nice specs.
The Elephone P8000 features a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) IPS LCD display along with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage (expandable up to 128GB). MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz powers this handset along with a Mali-T720 GPU. The 13-megapixel camera (Samsung’s 3L2 lens) is available on the back of this handset, and a 5-megapixel snapper can be found up front. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with some editions from Elephone, of course. This is a dual-SIM handset which offers 4G LTE connectivity, FDD-LTE band 3/7/20 (800/1800/2600). The phone is available in Black, White and Gold color options, it measures 155.2 x 76.6 x 9.2mm and weighs 203 grams. The non-removable 4,165mAh battery is available on the inside, and it can keep the phone going for 268 hours in standby mode, at least according to Elephone. I just received this phone yesterday. Quality built is pretty good, very solid and fast. But for some reason I don't get 4G LTE from tmobile, screen only shows 3G. But their advertising the phone have 4G LTE band.
Mine works fine on EE 4G. There's a forum section specially for the p7000 and there's a support chap from elephone who pops up every now and again.

According to recent reports, we may see two Nexus devices this year , one made from Huawei and another one from LG. It looks like one of the Nexus devices just made an entry in the AnTuTu benchmarking site, blowing everyone’s mind with a score of more than 85000!

If you remember, the Samsung Exynos 7420 chipset is currently on top of AnTuTu with 65000+ points. However, with a score of over 85,000 this Nexus device beats Samsung’s chip by over 20,000 points.
This brings us to the big question, what exactly is running inside this Nexus device? Well, AntuTu 5 doesn’t reveal much about the specs inside the device, but the phone probably will come with the new Snapdragon 820 chip from Qualcomm. While the score is still too good to be true, considering Qualcomm’s desperate need for a comeback with 820, the company could have boosted its performance to a whole new level.
What we do know is that the phone will be called as the Nexus 5 (2015) model , which probably means that LG is not sticking with the incremental naming policy. Also, this may also give us a clue about the screen size, as you can expect it to be around 5-inches (5.2-inch would be just perfect). The Nexus 6 came with a monstrous 5.9-inch display, but it was too big to handle. So, this could actually be a good move. The resolution is surprisingly just FHD, which would be a downgrade from the QHD display on the Nexus 6.
Anyways, if the performance of Snapdragon 820 is really this good, we would like to know whether it overheats like the current generation 810. But we hope Qualcomm will have learnt its lesson by now.
Usually, Google announces its Nexus devices in fourth quarter of the year and we expect the company to continue the tradition this year too. By then, there could be a couple of Snapdragon 820 powered smartphones like Xiaomi Mi5 in the market. So, things could get interesting pretty soon!

This is the worst phone that Samsung made, and to think that they made Samsung s Duos 2 and 3 too (even worse than worse). it's a shame on us as well. it was heavily priced, and we made it the most selling device back in 2012-2013. just because it had an S series title and 5mp camera. nothing else was good about this. (Now I realize it's not even 5mp, check in antutu benchmark)
200 USD You get octa core devices man, even if it was quad core, dual core atleast, we would have survived, for another year.
2016 is "The End" for this.
We are only using this mobile, to take out with us, so that if it get lost, we don't feel bad about it that much.
We are keeping this mobile, to get rid of our wives and bosses cause the battery drains faster in call than they come to their point where you can't take any of them with you, the battery dies. :good:
People are selling this online as low as 30 USD, in exchange, it's even worse, they are giving 20 USD.

I would definitely recommend Elephone. Had a chance to play wit it for some time and its a great overall phone.
Android phone is really cheaper and cheaper
The letv team is launching a new phone every month this makes me more assured that the buyers are not going to get support for these phones .the ui is buggy and crappy .camera app is worst than a 5k handset they have huge amount of bloatware already loaded that even 3 GB ram is insufficient to handle those terrorists.rather than addressing these issues they are launching new buggy handsets.my advise is to stay away from this manufacturer

i tried elephone s1 and it really looks cool and stylish. downside is, the battery, it can only last up for a day.

The specs below are what we are currently expecting to see in this phone, but these are subject to change after the official launch.
Some leaks suggest that OPPO will be collaborating with Hasselblad on a camera with two Sony IMX766 sensors for the rear setup. This is going to be a fantastic phone for mobile photography, and the camera features included in ColorOS 12.1 should be able to take that experience to the next level. You will likely be able to configure your phone to have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which is on par with other flagships coming in 2022. Of course, everything will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which is one of the most exciting chipsets we have seen in a while. Expect to see a 120Hz display, to be paired with all of the top-notch processing power. We will know more information after the official launch on the 24th of February
