I would suggest it. I went straight to 5.0 from 4.4.4 without ever using developer preview, and my first boot just hung forever. Then I tried flashing developer preview, which still hung forever (over an hour). I ended up fixing it by locking bootloader and then re-unlocking, which wiped everything. All is good now.

I was on 4.4.4, flashed rom, then gapps and all is working fine.
Flashed superSu and it says it can't update binaries. Anyone else have this problem?

Same problem here
Ok, fixed the superSU problem by updating bootloader to 4.0.4 (used a zip batch file from another thread). No worries!

Its extremely important to backup your current OS prior to installing.
Clean flash instructions:
When coming from either stock or another custom ROM you must preform a clean install.
Boot into custom recovery
Select Wipe/Advanced wipe
Check system, data, dalvik cache and cache (if you select internal you will lose all internal data, so please make sure you have a back up)
Swipe to wipe
Go to install
Select ROM zip add and select your GApps zip
Swipe to flash
Reboot system when complete
Dirty flash instructions:
Boot into custom recovery
Go to Install
Select the updated zip
Swipe to flash
Reboot system when complete

I have been severely criticized, thank you for discovering my integral development.
I remove antutu test, it looks dishonest. Replacement by 3DMark faithful to the result, the mod is battery life by keeping the sprint. If you have an antecedent release, flashing over without wipe is you will benificierai of updating without losing your personal data nor your applications, normally.
Put your benchmark score, defy me and kick me looser ! WTF this thread is competitive.
