[Completed] touchscreen not supported / unresponsive touchscreen - XDA Assist

I'm proud owner of a Yuandao N101I which runs a Rockchip 3066 chipset. As the only firmware that supports my touchscreen is an official one, it sadly is lagging and freezing and so on, I'm trying to find a way to get the touchscreen to work with one of the custom roms of which some work like a charm - with an attached USB-mouse, as the touch screen remains unresponsive.
I figured out that the touch screen driver seems not to be included in the kernel but is somehow fiddled into the firmware.
Information about the touchscreen I could figure out via dmesg:
input: Goodix Capacitive TouchScreen as
/devices/virtual/input/input3
<<-GTP-INFO->> GTP Driver Version:V1.0<2012/05/01>
<<-GTP-INFO->> GTP chip version:GT81XNI_3R19_000
Unfortunately, I didn't manage to find hints about drivers for that specific touch screen in English, only in Chinese which I don't understand at all.
Can someone give me a hint where I might find someone who could tell me if this issue can somehow be solved and maybe some hints about how it can be solved?

P.S : the touch screen was working very well befor the install
Hi!
The best place to ask about that issue would be the Rom or kernel threads.... But you need to get 10 constructive posts under your belt first. Also, did you read through those 2 threads a bit? Chances are others have had the same issue... And a fix could have been discussed.
You can also ask for help here....

[Completed] [MK808B] - Rotate to Portrait ( Android 4.4 )

Hello.
I've been days trying to rotate my mk808b from landscape default to portrait.
The first things i did was change build.prop hwrotation and fakerotation, and that changed orientation only of bootscreen, not android launcher or apps. Also rotation apps, xposed modules like appsettings, didn't work.
Soo... i started looking at android.policy.jar - PhoneWindowManager.smali, and found some interesting functions that may be involved ( isDefaultOrientationForced ).
The bad thing is that i haven't enough smali knowledge.
¿ Could anybody point me to the correct solution ? :angel:

I've the firmware but cannot post the link yet. Is called T005_T011_root_8723_20141029_V4.4.rar
I think i could also rotate this device with other rom like finless, but thats the unique that works.

[Completed] How to downgrade Craig CMP 756 9" Tablet from 4.4 KitKat to original 4.2.2 JB

My device is a Craig Electronics CMP 756 9" Tablet that was loaded with JellyBean 4.1 when I received it new in the box. I installed JB 4.2.2 with software provided by the Craig Electronics website. Install was flawless. I wanted to run 4.4 KitKat on this device so I installed the software for 4.4 KitKat from the Craig Electronics website. Installation went flawless as well. After performing the installation the touch screen does not operate correctly. I am unable to touch any app icon or anything on the touchscreen by placing my finger directly on the app icon. I have to touch at least 3/4" below the icon for the touch screen to recognize my input. I have been unable to locate a fix and have searched thread after thread and forum after forum with no luck. I want to revert back to JB 4.2.2 as it performed as designed with no issues. I have tried countless times without prevail. When I begin the install of JB 4.2.2 it starts normal. When the progress reaches 20-25% the screen flashes and the installation fails and status bar stops moving. Can anyone lead me to a thread, guide or any information on how to do this please?
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Unfortunately I can't find anything related to your tablet here on XDA. It might be worth your while having a look at the general Android Development and Hacking section, and the sub-forums within it. There's a general q&a section there where your question might be answered by someone with some knowledge of your device:
Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
I'd also definitely be contacting the seller/manufacturer afoot your problem, they're the most likely people to have the resources to help you.
Good luck!

[Completed] [Q] Mijue P7000 plus Root advic

Hi,
I have purchased the Mijue P7000 plus (I dont know if im allowed can provide links). I have successfully rooted/flashed etc android phones over the past few years but all are "popular phones" with phone specific threads.
It is mtk 6752. Ive browsed a bit and all i can make out so far is, download application thats compatible with mtk 6752, make sure you write down imei, and follow the rooting instructions. Is there any thing i should be wary of? Anyone any experience of this phone or similar? im aware of more than one rooting software. The best rated one is on other computer and cant remember name - It was recently updated to add 6752 to its list.
As for ROM, i dont expect to ever find a custom rom for it (its currently 5.0), i just intend to make manual changes to settings. Ive still to browse for this.
Thanks for reading, hope you have some advice so i dont have a brick
Thanks
