[Q] Xperia J Failed Upgrade.

Hi guys!
I would seriously appreciate help with this case.
I have friend's Xperia J on my hands, trying to bring it back to life.
The situation is like this:
The phone had failed upgrade to Jelly Bean (I have no specific info how that happened). Now it boots, goes through 'Android is upgrading' phase (optimising applications), goes to homescreen, and then after a few moments a lot of crashes happen (for example "Unfortunatelly DownloadAgent has stopped working") and after some time (usually 1 min) phone freezes and restarts.
To me it seemed like an easy case - just reflash stock firmware and we're good. So i've tried repairing through PC Sony Companion, but when I am told by software to put the phone into flash mode (vol down + usb cable) it just sits there not detecting the phone. I've tried windows 8.1 and windows 7 machines and usb 2.0 with sony cable.
Next, I've tried flashtool, also installing flashtool drivers. When I'm told to plug usb cable, it only goes to 'Reading device information' and just sits there. (Green led is lit).
When I check drivers with phone in flash mode this is what I get:
11/029/2015 13:29:56 - INFO - List of connected devices (Device Id) :
11/029/2015 13:29:56 - INFO - - USB\VID_0FCE&PID_ADDE\5&212AC8FC&0&3 Driver installed : true
So, I'm kind of out of options here, and any help would be appreciated! Also, I suppose that 'USB Debugging' is not turned on, it is hard to check with all those crashes happening, but I dont think it matters.
Thank you for any suggestion :good:
Try with different cable, and connect it on back usb port. I had problems with flashing with original cable that comes with phone, now i use short 10cm from Nokia. I haven't had any problems since.
Good Luck.

xperia z3 bricked

Hi, I flashed the wrong rom for my z3. Now the problems are:
1. The phone won't charge, no matter I connect it to the wall charger or USB to computer. No charging screen, no battery icon, no boot. The phone gets warm a little bit then cool as nothing happened. Tried different charger, USB cables. Only red LED light is on. Tried + and power.
2. Tried to connect to computer. Get Flashtool, PCC, Emma ready then connect, but connot be detected. Followed all instructions. Used ruber band to hold the volume down key.
The message got from Flashtool is as below:
23/049/2015 08:49:15 - INFO - Preparing files for flashing
23/049/2015 08:49:47 - INFO - Please connect your device into flashmode.

23/026/2015 12:26:46 - INFO - Device disconnected
23/028/2015 12:28:03 - INFO - Flash canceled
As no phone detected, no process had.
WHat can I do now? Please give me some suggestion.
Have you solve your problem?

Dead E3 D2202 no light,no flashmode,no fastboot recognized as SOMC Flash Device

Dear XDA Community,
I'm trying to revive an E3. The user of it told me it just suddenly stopped working while watching a YouTube video, and she couldn't turn it on since then. The phone literally looks dead. No signs at all, except one: The phone was first seen in Device Manager as "QHSUSB_BULK" (with an exclamation mark), then I installed the Flashtool drivers and it's now recognized as a "SOMC Flash Device". That's all.
I have tried to recognize the phone with Sony PC Companion, Emma, and the Sony Mobile Flasher by Androxyde (found the program as "flashtool-0.9.19.8"). None of them could detect the phone as a phone, except the last one mentioned (flashtool-0.9.19.8), but it just kinda detects it halfway.
Here's the log it gives:
08/011/2016 06:11:12 - INFO - Starting phone detection
08/011/2016 06:11:18 - INFO - Device disconnected
08/011/2016 06:11:47 - INFO - Device connected with USB debugging off
08/011/2016 06:11:47 - INFO - For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode
When I try to access it with fastboot mode, and press the "Check current device status" button, I get this:
30/040/2016 18:40:33 - INFO - Device Status: NOT FOUND
I also tried booting the phone into fastboot mode (holding volume up and power button, but nothing happens at all).
:crying::crying::crying::crying:help,help,help....
Is there any hope to fix it?
Thank you in advance!
On flash tool was you holding volume up + power?
