[Q] after having a corrupted efs i download another one making IMEI & SN not original
(BTW i didn't know that i have to backup my efs file so i didnt and if so it was corrupted already )my SGS 3 won't boot ang gives me /efs loading error so i found on youtube file efs.img so i can restore my data i didn't know that will fulsh my IMEI and SN to something else global so now i have no signal please help i have been searching for days i can not afford fixing it @ a store please help me i wish there is a program that fixes this please please please HELP:crying::crying::crying:

It's in the efs folder, but if you didn't made backup I don't know how to restore it, maybe in some samsung repair service with Z3 box???

You are DONE for. End of story.
If there's a CM7 port for Galaxy 3, you can use that to provide a temporary IMEI, but once you flash back to stock firmware the imei will disappear again.

Some guy remote unlocked my P5100 changing some EFS files. Now I've lost 3G conectivity, my IMEI is a generic one adn serial is 00000. I didn't find any good backup to restore. What can I do now? Cand I find those files anywhere? Can somebody send them to me?
I can go back tot the shop but I have 2 roots so is out of warranty

hi guys
recently i flashed a custom rom and then i found out that i had to backup my efs folder.i was nt getting network in that custom rom and with *#06# i was nt getting anything.so i decided to use my nandroid backup.after restoring i have my iemi number shown typing the*#06# keyword and imei identical to the one at back of the batterl slot.sim cards fully functional .my phone is s duos (dual sim). but if i check my efs folder its empty.so my question is do i have efs data lost.??if lost then how am i able to make calls?if nt y is my efs folder empty?
and my friend has given me his s duos efs files can i use it in my phone.is there any way to fix this??

I have a galaxy sii anycall that converted to international version.
It worked well and now says IMEI - (Nothing) and Baseband unknown.
i searched over the internet and found an app called GSII Repair.
I installed it and the procedure was failed.
I have the backup generated by the app "efs_save.tar" and "efs_save.tar.gz".
How can i rewrite this files manually to my device ? Is the efs partition corrupted ?

I have Samsung grand prime(G530H), I update a custom rom to my phone but mistakenly I forgot to take an EFS backup. After that my imei no was changed. Also I’m unable to connect to network. Also I’m unable to find NV data files on my phone. Pls be kind to help me to fix this.
