Now ive noticed my firmware pda and csc are videotron canada, but the csc info is telus. My question is...
What would happen if i switched it to the telus firmware( which would change the firmware csc and pda )

It will still work normally.

Thanks for the reply, figured it would make a difference

Hello All,
I bought from official Samsung shop a tab device named X TIGI T702. I already root the phone but still need help to better use it: which ROM and recovery are suitable to put on it? Is it equivalent with one Samsung model? Possibilities to write and send apps on external SD card? etc.

But it is a Verizon phone. Device type, and product name are zerofltevzw that's Verizon. Also, whatever it says in download mode, that's what model the phone is.

OK if I were you I would go to sammobile official site and download the official latest firmware for the Verizon S6. Also, I'm assuming you checked in adb by typing "adb" devices. To make sure the device is hooked up correctly.

Not really....and if i shud ask...what is it abt checking in the adb by typing "adb" devices....how is it done...
U have to have adb and fastboot installed. You just hook your phone up to the pc and open command prompt. Type adb hit enter, type adb devices hit enter. Should show your device status

@BobbyJanuaryBoy DO NOT TRY TO FLASH ANYTHING ON THIS DEVICE, EVEN ROOT!
Your phone is actually not "manufactured" by Samsung. It has Verizon motherboard, but the software inside is a firmware for international devices but modified to run with other motherboards (like Verizon), and a modified modem software and a unique IMEI & SIM lock storage.
You can only flash Verizon firmwares on it, BUT if you flash, your phone will be SIM Locked and you'll have some network issues due to unique IMEI & SIM lock storage and it is not revertable.

I'm pretty sure about that, sorry.
Same problem. Is it possible now to flash a Verizon Custom rom, without having any network issues?
Same here. I bought this phone few days ago and just discovered it was bootloader locked. Another thing is that I realised it kept on 4g signal even when the network drops to "edge".

Plss Help... Update problem with my Galaxy S6

Hi...
Plss i purchased a galaxy S6 32gb that has Lollipop 5.1.1. already on it. When i go to ''About Phone'' in the Settings, it displays that it's an ''G920V'' version. Also Download mode says the same, i have a G920V model. But when i decided to update it via ''System update'' in the Settings, it finds no new software update though Verizon has already released one. Then I came to realise in Samsug Phone Info App that Active CSC code is ''CHN / TGY'' (China CSC if i am not mistaken). Sounds weird right? Anyway.. I downloaded the Marshmallow 6.0.1 official updtae from Sammobile. Is there any risk bricking my phone or being SIM Locked if i flash via ODIN assuming there is something wrong with CSC code?
Plss guyz...can anyone explain to me how posible is that a Galaxy S6 Verizon has a Chinese CSC...and AGAIN...a lasting solution to this on how i can i have a Marshmallow flashed on it without any problems after that...and ALSO which of the variants Marshmallow firmware i can have on it...Cuz i don't want to brick my device....

[Q] [Help] Change CSC from SM-G955U1 to CSC that is included in the F firmware

I bought a S+ originally from Verizon. Then installed firmware unlocked 8.0 oreo (SM-G955U1) the CSC is XAA (usa unbranded).
I am currently using it in Mexico ?? with Telcel. Everything works good but now that I want to active VoLTE there's no option to do that because my firmware is not SM-G955F (exynos version) that includes TCE (telcel México) CSC which allows to go to a specific setting menu to activate volte.
I'm almost sure it is not possible changing the CSC because proccesor firmware incompatibility Snapdragon (SM-G955U1) and Exynos (SM-G955F).
The question is, can I change the CSC that comes with firmware U to a CSC that ONLY is included in firmware F?*
And how to do that?
I'm unclear. Are you Exynos or Snap?
I also have the same question.
I also have the same question, my mobile information is below
Product Code: SM-G955UZKAXAA
PDA: G955U1UES2AQL1
CSC: G955U1OYM2AQL1

DPI (Dots Per Inch): 420 dpi
PPI (Pixels Per Inch): 393 ppi
Rear camera: SONY_IMX333

Can I only update my CSC with INS which is part of G955F / G955FD using ODIN. Its an Snapdragon processon.
