I think you're using the wrong file. For Sprint I believe you have to use the spr file.
Yes, AOSP based ROMs were split.

No you will need to run a TW rom as the keyboard needs their framework. This is just something you give up when you use custom roms.

It didnt do anything. It said Deep scanning apps for threats and that was it. No program opened.
