[APP] CM Lockscreen wallpaper changer - Android Apps and Games

Hello,
We present our last small utility, that is available for free...
** This app only works on Cyanogenmod based ROMs
** This app requires superuser privileges
With this app, that is compatible with cyanogenMod based ROMs, you can set the lockscreen wallpaper.
To set a specific wallpaper, just open your gallery app, select the image that you want to set as wallpaper then click the share button and select this application.
If you want to automatically change the wallpaper using the images in a folder, simply select the folder pathname and the update interval.
In any case remember that for best results you must first crop the images to your smartphone screen size.

I'm not much into developing apps. Mostly basic ROM stuff but changing the apk name should be possible. I'll look around and see.

If you just want to get different names with icons on your homescreens there are other options available as well.
Some launchers allow you to modify the app name and icon when you add it to your homescreen. Or allow you to rename a shortcut when you long press it (Go Launcher)
My current (AOSP) launcher does not have that feature. But I worked around it by using one of the many features of Tasker. Just create a task that launches a particular app. Give the task your preferred name and icon. And drag a "Task cut" widget to your homescreen for that particular task.
Another benefit of these approaches is that whenever you update the app through the Play Store you will not have to reapply you custom naming and icons. That can save a lot of time with many app updates each week! What may not be nice is that the apps will still show their native name/icon in the app drawer.

Create application to define default wallpaper ?

Hi there,
I'm not a developer, so be cool
I would like to know if it's "simple" to create an Android application to set by default the wallpaper "Home" and the wallpaper "screen lock", just with a click for each wallpapers (or why not juste one click for both)
In my compagnie we manage Android under BES10, and unfortunately the wallpaper is not possible on Android (but only on BlackBerry). However I can push application, which is why I need to create this small application
To summarize : my application just needs to embedded 2 images and allow with one click to define the default wallpaper for the home and the lockscreen.
What do you think ?
Is it possible for a non-developer? Thank you !

What happened to the first AOSP Live wallpapers?

does anyone know why you can't install those live wallpaper in newer versions of Android anymore? I've noticed many people lost them when you'd upgrade your Android version to lollipop but i might be wrong, i suppose it must be something in the code that is currently outdated?
Here’s how to do it in Android 10 or Android 11.
Download a wallpaper from the Google Play store.
Press and hold on any home screen.
Tap the Wallpaper & Theme icon at the bottom of the screen or Wallpaper & Styles from the pop-up menu.
Tap Live Wallpapers.
Select a live wallpaper from the list.
Alternately, just tap on the Wallpaper app icon and follow the prompts to adjust the settings.
If you’re using a weather-based app, be sure to enable your location.
Tap Apply or Set to set the live wallpaper as your background.
Hello. I am new here. if there was any way I could upload a custom animated wallpaper and use it.

[APP][5.1+] WallpaperMe - A Wallpaper Switcher for Android 🙂

Hi, I've created a Wallpaper switcher for Android, all you have to do is choose a folder in your Phone's Storage, fill it w/ wallpapers and set the app. It can switch the Wallpapers by Unlocks or by Time.
There are also premium versions available which remove the 5 wallpaper limit and ads. Two are obtainable UnLockKkAyyy which should also unlock any other apps w/ it in the description, if they ever might be released n UnlockMe, which should only unlock this app.
