I have a HTC one s (s4) at first my WiFi usually work fine, but after I've flashed a couple Roma I realized that my WiFi wasn't working correctly for my WiFi to work I have to extremely close to the modem. can anyone help me fix my WiFi signal... ???? Plz I tried flashing new radio, Roms and even WiFi fix zip but nothing worked for... And oh yea am on hboot

hello i have searched and searched ..I need some help if possible..I have a new Htc hero has been rooted, flashed recovery, and dmgcntrlv1.0 ROM has been installed and for some reason my WI-FI nor my wap is working..Ive done like 10 hero's but this one is kicking my butt!

let me explain my problem better : i installed vipers 1.2.1 and it was great the only problem is wifi which i can not turn it on
some guys told me wipe cach+dalvik . then i wiped it and it fixed. wifi found my modem and i connected to internet.
but after rebooting my device while wifi was on, i still can't connect to my modem.
wifi is always on and i can't turn it off. it founded my modem but it always shows not it range.
what should i do now/? is it about the kernal ?? how should i find a good kernal ? should i download it then install it like a new rom?
i couldn't find any solution about fixing wifi problem in this beautiful vipers 1.2.1 rom

Hi I use viper and the kernel I use is Sebastian. I have no problems at all with WiFi. I suggest a fresh installation of viper, with a new download incase the old one is compromised. Do full wipe, cash, dalvik , wipe data factory reset, then install Rom. Then if you wish to install sebastian ( it's a great kernel for battery life too) install like you would a Rom. You should not have any trouble with WiFi then. If problem still is happening after that, l would post on the viper development because someone else might have same issue or know of a fix. I 've tried to upgrade my GT-N7000 (DXLSE - JELLYBEAN - BASEBAND N7000DXLS8) into some kitkat rom such as omnirom, cm, carbon, slimkat, dirty unicorn etc, and it all installed successly...
i 've try installed lolipop (cm.12) still the network problem persist...
Yes there is always problem with my network services, its very unstable (No service / No Internet Connection) but wifi connection is normal
but everytime i reflash (reinstall) back to Stock Rom JellyBean (4.1.2), every problem above has gone, there is no network problem in my GT-N7000...
I 've been tried every step as xda guide (flash kitkat rom), the same problem always happened (network problem)...
sometime it can detect my simcard network, but still there is no internet connection....
please help... i really want the kitkat rom in my GT-N7000... Thx Guys...
My Android Stuff is :
GT-N7000 (DXLSE)
JellyBean 4.1.2
Baseband N7000DXLS8
Anyway... I 've set the correct APN... but the same problem still persist...

An issue i face after flashing a custom Rom i downloaded from this forum is a little bit tricky for me.
Everything works fine after the flashing apart 3G. Edge works just fine , but i lose network connection immediately i enable 3G service. So the phone has to always stay on 2G only.
i have tried all i know should solve it to no avail . I used Maui meta etc but it didn't work.

I dont have the stock rom to reflash nvram with.
Phone: Mt6572
If there is any more relevant information i left out, please let me know. Awaiting your kindest suggestions.
