[Completed] [Q] unfixable bootloop vzw (original) droid incredible - XDA Assist

I already tried a stock PB31IMG.zip file to the SD's root directory, I get a no Image found. the sd is brand new, FAT32 .
Once, the phone actually started up but then went back into the boot loop, so it may be fried?
I want to try one last time to get this phone back to stock, or rooted, or whatever.
I do NOT need any info on the phone.
I want to completely reset it to zero.
I am trying to figure out how to RUU it?
Any advice or threads would be gratefully appreciated!!!

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. First, make sure the sdcard is working properly. Even though it's new there are a lot of bad cards out there. The best is to use an external card reader. There is a forum for your device here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-incredible-2. They are the experts on your device. Specifically, see if this helps, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1466295

[Q] My Samsung galaxy Exhibit will not allow me to go back to Stock Rom

Is not recognizing my external Sd. I am running CM9. Everything was working fine for a week. All of suddenly no SD card recognition .
Is there a step or steps for me to correct this problems. I want to go back to the Stock Exhibit rom, but has been unable to do so. I am at a lost, I have no idea what to do. In other word my phone and I am screwed. There a bevy of problems I have created and do not know how to correct them. Any help and advice would be appreciated.
Thank You in advance.
This is part of the risk you assume when you play around with roms. If you are not willing to assume that risk, then don't play around with things.
If your card is not being detected, make a backup of your card to your computer and format the sd card. Then copy the contents back once the card is recognised. If that is not working, then buy a new sd card and try with that one. It's quite unlikely that you phone has a broken sd card reader.
Not Recognizing my Sd Card
I assumed the risk, and I am not blaming anyone. I appreciate your help. Thanks.

I asked for advice about why my phone was not recognizing my SD card. I appreciate your suggestion. I accept all responsibility for what happened to my phone as I was playing around with things. It is not the end of the world, if I cannot get it back to recognizing the SD card or when it is connected to the USB. I will and can continue to use it as it is running CM9. Just wanted to return it to stock; so that I could play around with it again and flash a new custom rom to it. I am not deterred because of this one hiccup.
I thank you for that I have formatted the SD, tried another one and still no regonition. It can be the worst case scenario my sd card reader could be shot but I did learned how to flash and root, install a custom rom...no regrets there. Thak You for your help.
Hopefully you had made a nandroid backup of the stock rom after you had (again hopefully) installed recovery.
If that is the case then you can boot into recovery and restore the stock rom nandroid backup. If you do not have that, then things will get more complicated. You'll have to find a stock nandroid backup for that specific phone+carrier from somewhere and load it back while in recovery. If you don't have recovery, you'll have to push that on first while your phone is connected to the computer via usb.
I got it back by flashing stock via ODIN
I am back with the stock rom. Much thanks to all the people at XDA for posting questions and answers for the same problems I was having. I just kept reading question and answers forum pertaining to the Exhibit and I finally found the answers; of course nothing was easy after the ODIN download, the phone was in a rebooting loop. Someone had the same problem and I found the answer. I tried the solution and the phone booted up perfectly. I will give myself a week and then I will root it again and install one of the custom roms for The Exhibit 2. But now I am too tired and so glad to have my phone back as it was when I got it via Tmobile.
Thank you and everyone for your help and explaining it in terms whereas a person like myself came solve his/her problems.
You can use oldin and download stock rom from Samsung and flast it via oldin
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium

Grand X Max Z787 Stuck on Recovery Screen

Hello I am new to the forums and even though I've rooted a phone once (Anyone remember the HTC Incredible?) I've fallen out of the loop so to speak. Here is the situation.
I have a friend who is contently attempting to root phones. And he gave me the Grand X Max Z787, after he soft bricked it. He now has a Plus. After weeks of looking and some frustration on my part.
Here's what I now know he did, he was using a program called KingRoot and after it said success it booted to the recovery screen where it stays.
Here is what I've tried, factory reboot wiping data.
I've tried sideloading a Rom.rar I found in another thread. Side load doesn't work at all, and it's just this phone.
So I've tried loading different packages through the sd card. It says they're corrupt (Which it seems is correct when checking the information to the site it doesn't match)
So do I just need a stock copy of the OS or is there something else I can do? He said he didn't make a backup which isn't surprising to me at all. However I'm currently using a windows phone and need an android phone and would like to take advantage of this if possible. Also as most probably know when trying to load from the SD Card only .zip files show up. It was on the stock for a ZTE Grand X Max with cricket. So if someone has that backup and it's what I need (at least that's what I think, thank you in advance.) If this post is in the wrong place please move it to the right place or tell me where to place it. Thank you.

[Completed] need help with my soft bricked android!!

Hello:
I am fairly new to the android world and rooting, for a few months i've been tweaking with my phone and what not, got into a few situations that i was able to recover from, but this time i was messing with TWRP's boot menu and accidentally deleted the OS system, but for some reason I cant pull the image i flashed and saved on my sd card, i was able to do so before but not this time, long story short I would like to know if i can buy the same phone again which is a zte warp sync with kit kat 4.4.2 and root it, create an image or zip file of it and save it on a sd card and then load it into the soft bricked phone through TWRP's boot and fix the soft bricked phone, in my mind it seems like it would work but i really dont know if its possible, or if anyone has attempted it before. before i go and buy another identical phone

[Completed] SD Not being recognized. Need help!

Hey there guys,
Well, I got into a serious problem with my SD and I would really appreciate any help.
First of all, I got a Lg Magna H502 with the android 5.0.1, stock ROM. I managed to root it and then I got it into a bootloop by installing stupid things on it. (I'm pretty noob at android management). With TWRP I wiped everything that I could - totally desperate at this point. Bricked the hell out of it. Then, I couldn't even acess the TWRP.
Later, I managed to flash a mm ROM on it and all went back working again.. but with a big problem though, my SD wasn't being recognized anymore. It doesn't seem like a common problem, cuz I tried all the solutions that I could possibly find in the internet for 2 days and yet, no lucky. The problem isn't on the SD since my other device and my pc with the adapter can find it. Already tried formating with exFAT and FAT32, also tried the cmd checking method with the "chkdsk etc", it seems to be everything ok with the SD. Not only that, already tried to wipe cache and mount the sd card using the TWRP but still, nothing happens. It doesn't allow me to mount it.
I didn't try to flash the old stock ROM on it because all the people that installed the same mm ROM on the same phone didn't have this issue. So, it doesn't seems to be a ROM problem.
Any ideas? I can't figure it out.
The SD model is a Sandisk 32GB.
Thanks in advance!

[Completed] Cant seem to find a way to boot recovery my ''Clone S7'' after reboot. :(

I will be as specific as I can in order to save time
So I was in need of a cheap phone and always liked the look of the S7 since release. It came today but there was very little internal memory so I decided to root the device via ''Kingo Root'' in order to install an app called FolderMount. The app was meant to merge my SD card memory with my Internal Memory allowing me to install apps without a problem. As far as I can tell the root stage went fine, it said successful, rebooted and SuperSU worked a treat.
When I installed FolderMount it claimed the patch it applied was successful and my phone just needed to reboot in order to apply. So I rebooted and then it was stuck on the boot logo :crying: I have tried every combination to boot it into recovery in order to do a hard reset but nothing seems to work. No matter what button combination I seem to use the device to reboots, I have searched the all over the web for a solution but because it is a clone phone and its origins are unclear finding a relevant solution has being a nightmare.
So I have decided to turn to you fine folks in a hope someone could point me in the right direction. I will post everything about the phone I know below and if anybody has some suggestions that would be great.
Thanks guys
The phone is an HDC S7 - I can't post a link due to my account limitations.

There's not much support for cloned devices on XDA but someone may be able to help you there.
Good luck!
