Alright I have searched and downloaded and tried so. Many different guides on how to unbridled your phone but they all result to you need to have x version installed to upgrade. Also if I. Remove assert I get a end of footer message. I am forever stuck on this, what android version do I need to install if I keep getting a you need x version.
I able to boot into droidboot and recovery so I have adb functionality. Please advise me how to restore my phone to working order. Cheers. Alex
Hi there,
The best place to ask that is in one of this threads, but you need to register an aacount on XDA:
Root Asus Zenfone 5 KITKAT 4.4.2 (100% work)
ASUS Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6 - All you need to know about.
Good luck

Hello Everybody.*
I'm new here and I could use some help.*
A few weeks ago I bought a HTC one m7 32 G from a friend, when i tried to do a factory reset I wasn't able to cause the phone would freeze on the Twrp slide to unlock screen. I read and found out that it was the Twrp fault cause it was the version 2.5 00, so I downloaded Rom Manager and tried to update Twrp but to no avail. So I guessed I have to be rooted to do that. The phone has the bootloader unlocked and it says tampered, so i guess that it was rooted at some point. Also I found something called All in one root kit v4 amongst it's files, so i guess that's was what the person used to root the phone.*
I just received an ota update today and made the download but when I press install the phone reboots and it freezes on the Twrp 2.5 00 screen as usual. Currently I don't have a pc. The phone has Android 4.3. What can I do. Thanks in advance.*

Congratulations for your new phone ... it's a really powerful device IMO :good:
I think this is the right TWRP recovery for your device: HTC One > One Original Android Development > [RECOVERY] TWRP touch recovery v2.7.1.1
But check your exact device model before flashing anything.
I also advice you to read the HTC One > One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Frequently Asked Questions thread. It's very helpful for new HTC One M7 users.
If you have further questions, please ask in your device specific help forum: HTC One > One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
There you will get quick and proper help :fingers-crossed:

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Check the box the phone came in to make sure it's a WW to begin with. If it is a CN, then you will have to follow the steps here to bring it to WW (section 4):
> Asus ZenFone 2 > ZenFone 2 General > Asus Zenfone 2 | Resources all in one thread
If it started out as a WW, just need to find a WW recovery around that version. You can do parts of the above (download full ROM , extract recovery.img, flash that via fastboot, and nothing more), but I would confirm all this with the device experts (particularly someone who went through this before - I have the device, but I never had that problem)
The thread link to check out there is:
> Asus ZenFone 2 > ZenFone 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [GENERAL HELP] Post Your Questions Here Instead of Making a New Thread
Hope this helps, and good luck!
Hello there,
I'm sorry if you will read obsolete things, but I've just registered to this forum because I potentially need your helps and I'm a newbie in these things.
So I have a Honor 6 (H60-L04) and a few days ago Huawei released the EMUI 3.1 with Android 5.1.1 for my device.
The problem is that I have rooted my Honor 6 much time ago in order to use apps that require root access.
And now I don't know how to go back to unroot, relock bootloader and put the stock rom back...
I have downloaded your Honor 6 Multi Tool and I installed an EMUI 3.0 ROM (something like B390), and now the recovery is not the same as before, it only has "reboot" "wipe data/cache" and "factory reset" so I don't know how to reach the Bootloader.
Can you help me please? I know it will be hard and annoying for you.
Can somebody explain me step-by-step what to do to fix all this mixture that I've done?
Or is there a way to update to EMUI 3.1 without OTA, I mean with an sdcard?

Greetings,
Thank you for using XDA Assist. First, have a look at your device's homepage here:
Huawei Honor 6, Honor 6x
Most of the helpful guides and imformation can be found in the General Forum found there. Your questions go in the Q&A Forum.
That's where you'll find your device experts. Good luck!
So I'm very new to the whole rooting process and ran into some issues with my Verizon LG G Pad 7.0.
I was trying to root my tablet and put Cyanogenmod 13 on it so it can be like stock Android.
Rooted it with RootKing and tried to flash the recovery with TWRP and ever since I tried that, in the upper right-hand corner when attempting anything system level like that, it says Error: boot certification verify.
The tablet functions but it won't do a factory data reset or wipe the cash or anything like that.
I've tried the LG Mobile Support Tool and the Verizon Wireless Software Upgrade Assistant too to repair the device but it keep failing.
Any help would be much appreciated.

hello admins
i have a problem on my tablet (bluewave WV8 - M)
i just rooted it by using a one touch root app, then i didn't know how to have permissions on my apps
i downloaded supersu then after that at first there were 2 choices normal / twrp cmw so i tapped normal
after a reboot i got a bootloop so i thought i could fix it by downloading its stock firmware
after flashing it when i turned it on it got a blackscreen.
i just realized that it wasn't its official firmware because they have serial numbers when i searched for my tablet's model the don't have the stock firmware
is there other alternatives?or universal firmwares? by the way its an rk3288 tablet.
thank you in advance
