Does anyone know if the Galaxy Note 4 battery cover is the same fit for the Note Edge?
It does not. It's a different shape and size. The battery is different as well.

If you have spare S3 batteries you can use them in your s4,
line up the battery to the far left, it's the same height and will securely lock in if you line up the prongs to the battery
you'll have space on the right of the battery, but notice how it lines up nicely on the left!
when removing the battery, do as always, don't pull up where there is space to the right of the battery...
pull from bottom of battery where the notch is.
each S3 battery will give your S4 an additional 2100 mAh of juice as a spare!
Not bad when you think about it... 4,700 mAh of juice in total when combined with the stock one 2,600 mAh S4 battery.
keeps the slim look without having to go to the horribly ugly extended batteries and their over sized battery covers.

being that I have a charging unit for my spare batteries, this is a quick and easy way to have back up battery spares with you for when you need a charge... if you have spares why not use them??

i had 4 when i used Nokia5800 loooooong time ago ??
but now only 2, already get used to use the usb connection with computer at my Office ?
I actually discovered this by accident, was in a pinch and tried the S3 Battery and it worked. Both batteries are 3.8v however the S4 is rated at 9.88 Watt Hours and the S3 at 7.98 Watt Hours so not an everyday user but good for immediate emergency power.
Will this work?
Use the Samsung 3000 mAh Extended Battery for the S3 on the S4 and put the S4 in a Spigen Slim Armor case without the back cover?

It depends on how thick the battery is... the polycarbonate might not fit onto the TPU on that particular spigen.
At the same time you can try it, you have nothing to lose and can always return what you don't use if need be.

Just tried my zl 7000 may from my s3 and it fits. It does block the flash though.

I would like to know if there will be an S-View Cover for the egde or only the Cover with the edge open.
I think the edge is perfect to Check messages or Infos, but with the S-View you can do so much more, take pictures, take notes. I also hope that samsung gives api for devs like lg did with Quick circle.

The existing Flip Wallet works kinda like the same. Only the S View window is Edge screen. I really doubt if Samsung will make one. Since functionality is already there.
On ebay there are 3rd party cases that have the edge cut out for the curved screen. Whether they work as an S-view case is a shot in the dark - just like the Note 3 the Edge has the little contacts in back that make the s-view case and wireless charging work. The Note 3 required a chip to allow it to work...
Ordered one to see what it's like but hasn't arrived yet as it comes from China...

It's a case for the EDGE but has a protection for the edge part, but apparently makes it functional. We'll know more in a few weeks.

I'm thinking of getting this device next week.
Made the swap from the Edge, and I can honestly say the S6 feel a lot more sturdy and robust than the edge, much more comfy in the hand, and won't have to suffer very few accessories that ate available for the edge, no glass screen protecter, and the protection of the well known cases, spigen, otterbox is way better, and after having both phones side by side I actually prefer the S6 to the S6 Edge.
Forgot to add that the edge screen is a scratch magnet and the clearview case made a mess of my screen, not good....I also found the edge screen a pretty pointless gimmick....still both great phones...but the S6 is a far more practical phone.
The edge was for looks, we all know this.
That's great. I feel the same way based on my limited usage of an edge.

Sold my S6 thinking I wanted the Edge, but now that its gone I am not really sure the Edge is going to be it in the long run. Likely get another S6, Gold Platinum perhaps for something different.

When my Nexus 5 broke down I really wanted the Edge, but the green version wasn't available at the time. The black Edge isn't truly black, and I didn't like the white and golden options either. So I tried a golden S6 (much better gold color than the Edge) and it was a world of difference. It feels so much better in hand. The Edge is just a pain to hold in my opinion. It feels like holding a toy almost. While I really like the look of the Edge, especially in green, I'm very happy it wasn't available which made me buy an S6.
Another switcher here. Had the edge for a week, couldn't stand the way it felt holding it. Been on my reg s6 for over a month love it! No turning back for me even if I could.
Edge is uncomfortable to hold.
So... I saw the official Note 5 keyboard case by Samsung and I found it really brilliant. Anyway, I may be the only one globally that liked this case lol, but I was wondering if there is a similar case for our Note 4.

Anybody here using 'Clear Cover' (as in the picture attached, not to be confused with the 'Clear View Cover') for Galaxy S7(flat). I find it very difficult to remove it with the edge protection all over unlike the equivalent cover of Galaxy S6. It's so tight that the edge at the bottom left has to be removed with extreme force & care with a tool and then sliding the phone out through the left side. Makes me feel like it's one of that case that got made with the leaked dimensions of S7 pre-announcement. Not worth for $30. Is this just for me or anybody else experiencing it? It should be easy to snap-on and snap-out, isn't it?
