[Q] Where can I track Xposed for Exynos/64-bit progress? - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

As has been stated many times elsewhere, I took for granted the functionalities provided by the Xposed framework!
Do any of you know of a thread, Listserv, etc. where I can track any sort of progress or release of Exynos/64-bit compatible Xposed?

Cross post to get more eyeballs. Mods feel free to delete if necessary.
However, I would prefer to mode the linked thread to this forum instead if you can.
Thanks
Unfortunately that's not something an app alone can handle. You'd need to create a modified version of the framework to override the permissions checks.
See here for a cm7 based rom with something like this implemented: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=996726
Thanks for the link. I am glad to see that someone is finally working on this. I have been actively seeking this particular feature since I got my G1 in 2009.

[Help Needed - Xposed] First Xposed module, made some progress but stuck

Hi,
So bare with me I'm not an Android developer but I'm doing my best. I'm not sure I'm posting in the right place either, I saw there is an Xposed dedicated Forum but it doesn't seem to have any Questions posted to it, only Release of Modules. So forgive me if this is the wrong place. To the point :
I've created an Xposed module. Right now it is very simple, I was able to listen on two methods in a class of an application I want to use as my events. (Hooks)
When I start that Application, lets call it AppX, I log to Xposed Log and I can see my Hooks being called correctly. So the hard part I think is behind me, I decompiled AppX, found the methods, made my Module, hooks are working.
Now I want to perform some actions on those Hooks.
I want to pop a notification with 2 buttons, every 1 hour, WITHOUT being dependent on AppX context. I don't care anymore what happened to AppX.
The button would be, Snooze and Dismiss, I know I need to implement them, and I'll read up on documentation to create the notification. My problem is, where I am stuck, I don't have an Application Context or any other Context in my class.
If I extend Application or Activity, I get problems from Xposed when I try to load my Activity. I just need some guidelines in the right direction, and I'll go back to trying. Iv'e been trying now until my head hurts without bugging you guys, and I'd appreciate the help.
To Summerize :
Found Class and Method to hook on - Done
Implemented Hook - Done
I know which Actions I want to perform - Notification
Help needed to continue.

XPrivacy vs. LBESec --- Which is better for Security and Permissions?

Question for the group.
I like privacy, security and granular permission control.
I have the Sprint version of the Galaxy S6 (SM-G920P) -- rooted, running stock touchwiz.
For years, I used XPrivacy , part of the Xposed framework. I liked the granular controls, but found it clunky and cumbersome.
When lollipop came out- Xposed was temporarily non-functional with Touchwiz, until the great @wanam, @arter97, @romracer etc created the fix) solution. So originally I couldn't stay with Xposed and XPrivacy.
In searching for an alternative privacy/security option, I found LBEsec - a Chinese security company that I wasn't previously familiar with. Problem for them though- is they don't have an official english translation (and I don't speak Chinese). However, the great @vuhien solved this, and has had working English translations (not perfect, but pretty great) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=46695347&postcount=2010 for LBEsec, and I've been using it for over a year.
I found LBEsec to have a better UI and be way more user friendly than Xprivacy, with more functionality (auto Advertisement scanner and blocker, anti-virus and battery monitors, etc etc)- though it didn't have quite as many granular control options as XPrivacy, but came pretty close.
Now with Marshmallow-- I have the reverse problem. Though LBEsec has apparently been updated for Marshmallow in Chinese and German, none of the English translations seem to work yet fully in Marshmallow (the "active defense"- the core of the security- doesn't seem to be working). XPrivacy however, does seem to be working (though I haven't reloaded it)
So the question for me now is--- stick with LBEsec - with its slick interface functionality and stay on Lollipop? Or is marshmallow worth it and I should switch back to Xposed and XPrivacy? Has XPrivacy gotten more user friendly?
Anyone else have experience with both security platforms and have a preference?
Or alternative?
Thanks!
(*Note- originally posted in sprint galaxy s6 sub-forum but got no answers-- apparently not many people have experience with both so I moved it up here)
I'm wondering the same thing. I found your thread by googling if there were any better options than Xposed.
You might want to put this on one of the general forums so that other Android users can give their opinions. For now, I think I'll install Xposed and Xprivacy on my Asus Zenfone, unless I can find any more information.

Well I'm glad someone finally replied to this... I also thought of moving it to the 'security' section.
I will note a couple things in terms of 'update'.
1. It doesn't seem that the formerly great working LBESec has been updated with a new english version in a long long time.
2. Rather than XPrivacy, I've actually been using Protect My Privacy (PMP) , which is a project by either Carnegie Melon or the University of California San Diego to provide cell phone privacy options. It's a bit more user friendly than XPrivacy, though a bit less granular. It also occassionally with a recent update slows the phone some-- I'm hoping that is just a glitch that gets resolved soon.

Genymotion Emulator Root and Emulator Bypass, Safetynet Fix

Hello friends
This is my first message on xda forums, I wish i dont break any rules here.
I coded automated script for android devices to manage apk's or device what ever u call.
I would like to cut my expenses and use genymotion android emulator's, but as i checked;
First of all, I shall make this emulators undetectable.
I searched web, found topics about, magisk, xposed framework etc but that tools makes emulators unstable and crash more than ever.
After 2 days of research, as far as i understand, frida-server or what ever u call will be the best way to hide or change device information in front of apk's.
but i dont know what shall i do about safetynet fix
I need help about this problem, again as i tell i wish this is not rule breaking but I am up to pay for this help
Have a nice day friends
