Ya, do the exact opposite when done listening ;D

You could probably automate it using Tasker.

I haven't tested it with the S6 yet but something that drove me nuts with my old phone was it would still do audio ducking. So no notification would play, but the music volume would decrease for the length of the notification.

Media controls in notification bar

On my old Captivate I could control media through the drop down menu.
Is there an app that had media controls in notification bar, or an app that allows me to put phantom music control in it?
Never live in the past but always learn from it.
Notification toggle or even better CM7.
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA App
i would love to get this if there is an app that can do it.
i have a lg optimus v and i cant flash to c7 mod so thats ruled out.
another thought i had was something like (excuse the use of this) the ipod/iphone/ipad quick music popup. where you press the home button twice and it brings up a transparent little popup something like this:
{

N.T. doesn't have media control...
Never live in the past but always learn from it.
and (sadly) it will never have because most music apps dont release any API to let 3rd party developers control the music app
but the stock samsung music app has a notification bar integration

Mute All Sounds is an app that will mute your device with ONE touch. Your device will remain that way, until you unmute it. Volume ringer controls will be overridden and hence the device will stay muted even if you try to increase/decrease volume.
Features:
Minimalist, clean user interface
Mute device with one touch
Unmute from notification or from within app
Set UNLIMITED mute and unmute time profiles
Volume ringer overridden when device is muted
Minimal battery consumption
Mute individual volume streams of your choice
Be sure to check out the screenshots!!!
Looking forward to any comments, criticisms or suggestions. So far the app has been tested on Nexus 4, Samsung Galaxy S3 (i9300), Samsung Galaxy Epic 4G(S2) and HTC One. Once again, feedback is greatly appreciated.
WARNING: Alarms will ring at set times because there is a bug in Google's AudioManager api, because of which the alarm stream CANNOT be muted.
Previously known as Turn Off All Sounds
Cool app!
Works fine on GT i9300! Good work! :good:

Music app and Freebuds pro - app only lets you apply sound affects to streamed music, not local music files

Has anybody found a workaround for this? My Freebuds pro sounded flat and no matter what affect I selected nothing changed: hit the i button and it says point 2 below. Really annoyed as what’s the point of getting Freebuds pro with the enhanced sound possibilities if you can’t use any of them and I don’t stream music / can’t stream where I work. Has anybody found a workaround to this?

I don’t have histen installed but have just downloaded it. Is there any way I could remove the music app completely and download an older version where the sound affects could be used on internal files?
From my phone ... Music and Histen.
Thanks but I can’t uninstall the music app on my phone so can’t install this older version.
Installing just Histen doesn't solve your problem ??

Question Bluetooth volume memory?

As per title, is there a way for the phone to remember a pre-set volume for in car player (power amp) as currently it always starts so quietly I can hardly hear it, and if I turn up the car stereo and then the input changes to radio, I'm almost blown into the back of the pick-up
Maybe use media volume limiter if that's still present in settings under sound.

Try creating a profile in Poweramp and associate it car player. Might be possible
Maybe Galaxy Sound Assistant. If you're not already using this useful app, you should be.
Increase sound increments up to 100.
I can't find a profile in PowerAmp, the Sound Assistant doesn't seem to do anything, and volume limiter seems to be more about limiting than creating a bluetooth maximum
Does anybody know if the Samsung player (or any other one) has an option to equalize volume levels across all tracks PLUS make the S22 Ultra remember the bluetooth volume you set?

Question How to stop incoming calls from waking up my lock screen ?

How to stop incoming calls from waking up my screen when I'm in Do Not Disturb Mode ?
Do not disturb > Exceptions
It may be possible via Bixby rules to create a Forward all calls to your Google Voice/Phone for the duration of Do not disturb
Check also Notifications > Brief pop-up settings > Show even while screen is off
