Wondering if someone smarter than me could answer a relatively simple question: Does the android upgrade to 5.0/5.1 replace your system files. More to the point, if there was a system file that was damaged, would it be replaced by upgrading to lollipop. Thank you sincerely in advance any help in answering this question, as i`ve heard people say one thing and then another. I need someone with knowledge to weigh in on this.

I'm new in here and i have just two question to ask you about my mobile phone, that is an Huawei G6600.From what i heard, this mobile phone is using android operating system,so i hope that is correct. So the first thing i need to know is that how can i make it possible to see the system files from my phone through my pc.
The second question is somehow related to the first one, because what i pretend to do is to find someway to edit the mobile radio application that is on the mobile and increase the limit frequency allowed on the application.
Can someone teach me a way to do this?
Thank you in advance

hi every one
i'm new in android dev but I intend to be serious.
I wanted to ask, who I can contact to get help with technical issues in software development Android.
For example: the most simple software that did not want the problem could be something else such code, etc ...
Thank you in advance
Hi there
I hope someone in here can help me.
My friend has a Samsung SGH-I677 phone, running windows. He wants to change to Android.
Does anyone know how I can change it for him??
or If there is an Android Rom for his phone??
Please help, I have googled it, but no luck so far.
Thank you
Johan
I've got a SGH-i677, don't think these phones can go to Android architecture just yet. It would take a serious dev team to do this. I haven't even seen a reliable jailbreak short of temp breaks that allow you to sideload certain things. (anyone else feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). This phone is a beast of annoying. I'm not sure why I wanted to try owning one of these yet. They literally have over 1001 "no you can't do thats"

I was trying to root my M8 but somehow ended up derping and wiped my OS. I've look around for solutions and came to the conclusion that I have no idea what I'm doing because I don't know a lot of the terms being used, so here I am asking for help.
Could someone help me reinstall the OS and help me root it properly?
I'm on the T-Mobile network, but I'm not sure which variant my M8 is. I'll provide further information as we go. Thanks in advance Q_Q
Note: I'm a total noob when it comes to these things so please be patient with me
Just noticed that this was in the wrong section. Please delete this.
did you get your phone working???
Hello. I'm quite new to this site and don't really know my way around. I have almost no background knowledge in rooting any phone at all. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could direct me somewhere where I can find a simple guide on how to root it, speed up my phone, and improve battery life.
Phone details:
Moto G (1st Gen.)
Android version is 5.1
(Not sure if anything more is needed)
Thanks for any help regarding this (and apologies if I caused any inconveniences)!
Bump
Edit: Would this still work for my phone even though it came out two years ago and that I have an xt1031?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/guide-root-xt1032-xt1033-moto-g-running-t2965507
By this point I'm starting to suspect that there is no root for my phone/no known guide I could be directed to. If so, could someone confirm this?
Bump
I'm really beginning to loathe bumping this. If you guys need any more information just ask, as I said in the original post, I don't know everything that is needed.

Hi,
See question 8 of this FAQ.
The best place to get help for this sort of thing would be in > Moto G > Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting.
Good luck
