i rooted my s660 row_029. i tried to update to s660 row_035 (103mb) with android recovery 3. but failed, the problem is with phonesky.apk, i also changed permissions but did not worked. previously i modded playsotre with chelpus google play store.
i badly wants to upgraded please suggest
also can any one tell me what the hell is this apk??? is it playstore??? can any one give me correct phonesky.apk for lenovo s660, i downloaded stock rom of lenovo s660_row_s026, but wont find this apk in system.img, all ohters are there

Hi, newbie of P70 from malaysia .
I'm having problem here and looking for help and advice.
My P70 is bought 2nd hand, it was rooted and flashed with TWRP recovery when I got it.
Now I have problems with it.
1) I unable to update my P70 to latest S128 firmware, every time I tried to update, it download the firmware and reboot, but it will launch the TWRP firmware and stuck there, no update progress.
2) my camera dead, someone said it might due to I root my phone. But how to unroot?
***Update***
Managed to restore my P70-A camera and updated to latest S129 firmware after flashed to stock Recovery and S127 firmware
Wonder what caused the camera error, Root or Recovery
Please advice and help.

I own the P780 and Yoga tablet and one recurring theme with them is that once rooted, say bye bye to OTA updates unless you flash back the unrooted stock ROM.
Just for info.
I get my P70-A rooted, but leave stock recovery and don't touch system apps, only freeze some.
Successfully updated to new firmware 129 via OTA.
Root rights lost after update so I must reroot. That's all

i just want to move few of my Apps and i don't want to use features to change my primary memory card that can move all of my Apps.

I've just bought lenovo P70-A last night, then i checked the specs using CPU-Z application, everything is ok just like the specs that's shown in the box, EXCEPT the screen size and battery capacity, CPU-Z shows the screen size is 4.59 inches and the battery capacity is 1000mAh . Anybody experienced the same thing? I bought it from trusted shop, not from black market, and in the back cover of battery shows 3900mAh. Please somebody answer...

It 's work for me. I have ROM version VIBEUI_V2.5_1512_5.495.1_ST_K50-T5
First try not work then I searh around found technosamigos_com\\how-to-root-lenovo-k3-note-on-android-lollipop it said have to connect with 3G/4G if not it will not work.
I try again and it work. Now I remove the baidu browser and another that I don't want.
Really happy with KingRoot Superb easy.

not working on a marshmallow.sty 26% and then stoped.
When I try to install ogwhatsapp on my note5 device it tells me not installed because whatsapp is already installed but needs to update.

But now, my phone has downloaded Android 5.0 update and asking me to install. It always show software update notification on upper left screen which really annoying to see. How to delete this downloaded file? or at least disable the notification. I have try ES Explorer to find the file but I didn't know where to find and what the file name is. I try to wipe cache partition but still not working. My problem with Lollipop is my gps is not working. Keep seaching gps. Thank you & sorry for bad English.
