I still have the stock CM Kitkat on my OPO, Im in thoughts in updating to the official CM12S.
But I have a qeustion about the display, one thing that is important to me is accurate colors and whitebalance(6500k). On the stock Kitkat the display is realy great.
I wounder if the display still have the same accurate color and warm white balance on the CM12S? I know that there is settings for that in the new version, but I dont have any calibrationtool and I want the display as accurate as possible from the begnning.

I have 4.1.2. I am wondering if it is worth flashing to 4.2.2. It would be a rom that is as stock as possible. There is not too much different between 4.1.2 and 4.2.2 so should I even bother? I will also lose some things lg added for my optimus g that I don't really use anyhow. The only thing I would miss would be the quick toggels lg has when I open up the notifications and maybe the specialized cpu eco mode. It would just take up so much time and then when 4.2.2 stock comes out I might flash to that. But it would be cool to have lock screen widgets.
I think it's worth it.

Did you guys ever noticed phone randomly switching screen to saturated mode?... Happens randomly, kind of often.
While in settings it will still show you're on sRGB or natural, but actual calibration jumps to what looks is AMOLED white gamut. Switching it back to your preferred mode fixes things for some time until the next random switch.
I'm not sure if this is rom related or not, seems like I had this problem on multiple OBs and stables on Android 10, with different kernels.
Currently on OB12 + xXx + arter kernel and this issue is present.
I guess I'm the only one having this problem... one every OOS beta and latest stable with stock kernel, screen calibration literally jumps to wide gamut after locking/unlocking the screen.
Ice Bear has experienced this issue ever since upgrading to OOS 10 and it's been this way since the first version of OOS 10. Screen calibration was fine on OOS 9.
I noticed the switch happens when you receive a call almost 90% of the time. I had this problem since 10.0.0 and on beta as well. I provided system logs to help OnePlus teams to track this bug down and since then, I switched to vivid and did not bother much. Currently I don't know if it still exists, what's your build?
Anybody facing the green tint issue?I got the RMX2071(china rom) and the version of A21.I set the brigtness to about 25percent and turned the dark mode on.The black screen is quite green at the right side of the display when in the chrome goolge search page and google keep note blank page.I am not so sure whether this is coz of ota update or factory error.If u havent test yet,try that and plz reply me.Wish they can fix with ota update :crying:
I'm running EU (A.28) version and I haven't noticed that. However, I find that with low brightness, my lockscreen display crushes colours together and is annoying. Presumably because it's an OLED Panel, grey's look more purple with low brightness. And with high brightness, they boost the colour saturation as of a max limit of screen brightness and this is really really annoying too.

I have RMX2071, and I'm on Chinese stock ROM too. It came with A.14, I upgraded it via OTA to A.20 and than a few days later to A.21. I am using dark mode too and low brightness, but haven't noticed anything like you describe.

I could only see it when the ambient light is low also.May be my phone is only defected.Thanks for your info.
In my galaxy A30s when i set the fingerprint lock to the Display then screen having a green color on lock screen when i remove fingerprint screen will be normal this will be happened when screen brightness is low anyone having solution for that to screen is normal when brightness is low and no green color on the Display
Maybe something wrong with your display?
Are you using a custom ROM, or do you have any Magisk Modules?
If no, then it is probably a display issue.
You could try to flash the stock firmware, or factory reset.

No in my phone I will use the stock oneui rom
If I install custom rom it the display is normal but in oneui when fingerprint will add then display problem will occur otherwise the display is good as normal

There is definitely something wrong with your display, and I don't think you can fix it without a replacement. Sorry, but I really don't think there is anything you can do other than replacing it.

I thought of its normal on all device!
When i applied my custom wallpaper on lockscreen i slightly noticed its color is different from original pic so i changed pic and applied some dark wallpaper and now its fully green , it can be noticed easily!
You can remove fingerprint sensor (which i do)
Or
Use perfect wallpaper or use samsung wallpapers!

There's nothing wrong with your display. Its a bug and a lot of ppl have it, including me. It happens with the lockscreen with inscreen fingerprint. In my case, if i rise the brightness it fixs but only for a while. Probably the next update will fix it
Hallo i think this is problem with oneui in lower Brigthness sceen show green tint on lockscreen with fingerprint and screen has buggy when call or alarm start
Does anyone know why they made the status bar icons so bright? Any way to adjust or turn them off ?
I remember something similar before , I hope they don't stay this bright , can't be good for screen burn.
