Android M preview doesn't work on MultiROM as secundary rom yet. I installed a flashable zip but it booted into recovery. If you want install as primary Rom to test, the link is below extracted from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3121186
Zip: https://basketbuild.com/filedl/devs?dev=Tassadar&dl=Tassadar/stock_zips/mpz44q_hammerhead.zip
Edit: Android M preview is working as a Secondary ROM with MultiROM v.32c update. ??
I installed the M preview and just wanted to report my experience. At first, the flashable zip would not flash, saying that my bootloader wasn't the correct version, ending with H. So I flashed the correct bootloader but then still got the same error, this time saying that my bootloader was too new, now ending with a K, even though it reported correctly, ending with H, when booting into the bootloader!
So I went in via fastboot and ran the script provided by Google in the preview download. It flashed successfully and rebooted but wouldn't get past the loading part with the colors flying around. I waited twice for at least twenty minutes.
Finally, I extracted the zip in the Google package, manually erased each part (image, cache, etc) using fastboot commands, and then flashed each part individually using fastboot.
Success! Hope it helps someone else if they're having issues and I hope to get to my ten posts soon!
PS. The only app incompatibility that I've experienced is WeChat won't even load.
DL Link is down
Please could anybody reupload the ZIP?
THX soo much

Root access on android m?
Has anyone tried the root access on android M ? Pls let us know here.
Google Now Cards Broken?
Hey, so I installed M the other day and had a few issues and as this is my daily driver I needed to revert to 5.1.1 stock.
When I had M installed I was not able to enable Google Now/Now Cards, I kept getting a error;
Code:
Network error. Check you network connections and try again
I'm now having the same issue on 5.1.1
Now I can say with 99% certainty that there is no network issue with my phone, both data and wifi work fine. I have searched for almost 2 days now and I cant find an answer. I am able to find PLENTY of solutions for enabling Now if its nto available in certain countries, I'm in Canada and its worked for a while now.
Currently I am running stock 5.1.1 rooted but I have tried 100% bone stock just in case it was something I was installing/doing.
Is anyone else having this issue? Have you been able to fix it?
One fix I found and it DID work for about 20 minutes was as follows
BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP
Download an old version of the Google App (Google Search i believe its called)
Use Titanium to backup the Google App and Google Now Launcher
Use Titanium to uninstall both the above apps
Install the old Google Search app
Activate Google Now/Now Cards
Update the apps after you verify Now Cards are working
This did work for me for about 20 minutes but when I restarted my phone, I'm back to not being able to enable Google Now/Now Cards.
Any help would just be dandy.
Thanks!

I tried to install the SuperSu beta zip, but get bootloop, so i reinstall the android M zip and it works again.
Installed last night with multi-rom( thanks to whoever made zip)
Was quick and straight forward but when I booted Android m none of my apps and settings were present
Took a titanium batch backup of primary rom but obviously can use until rooted.
Anyone know how I can get my apps and settings into m?
Sorry if noon question

Multirom uses a system partition to install a rom from scratch, you can only use from the others roms, your files, so you can only (until chainfire release an supersu stsble version and titanium works fine) download all the apps from the playstore, but if the app uses a obb or data files, you only need to download the app or install the apk because it uses the same files. For this reason i only use Android M to test apps and the internal rom for daily usage.

Yes, you can swap the roms in MultiROM options from recovery (screenshots below), also can install the zip in the internal rom or install the factory image with the SDK (deleting the userdata.img from image.zip in the .tgz to keep all your files).
Anyone get V4A working yet? I don't know how to get it on M. The apk installs, grants root then the driver won't stick. I reboot and it asks me to install it again.

Hi,
Have you tried to change the dpi ?
I just successfully root the rom but can't get the dpi to change.
Using Build Prop Editor, changing 480 to 380. Giving root to the app saving and reboot but the DPI stay in 480...
Any idea ?
Thanks
When I flashed the ROM, There is no Nexus 5 field in my computer (I want to return my music and photos to the phone back) but device apperas in Device Manager... Why?

4) Boot your device into recovery mode (power + vol-).

**Sometimes a bug appears on AROMA installer, it shows "please wait" but it's not loading, just tap on the screen and you will be able to continue normally. This bug is not MayaMod related, something is wrong with our device or recoveries.
Fixed in new TWRP 2.8.1.0 (thanks to @BENETNATH)
Great work, running without a glitch currently
rom is great-but now no google framwork(gsf id key) so playestore does not work.i used android device id and its gone.any ideas? thanks ian

Uhmmm... I'll find the issue and fix it. Thanks for your feedback!
I cannot reproduce the issue, I 'm able to install through Playstore and no problem with GFS ID... If someone could try a pair of things for me let me know.
No issues with the play store on my install.
Signature failed
I have a rooted Slatebook 10 X2 via the expensive cable and am trying to install the files above. However, when following the instructions and trying from two different locations, USB stick and Downloads folder, I get the same error message: Signature Verification failed.
Suggestions?
Which recovery ?
Which recovery?
It should be CWM, but after reading the original rooting instructions via the "expensive cable" method, it seems I will have to run the maya-0.1.img again and sideload TWRP, then install MayaMod.
I think what happens with the original rooting is that it is a one-time deal. If you want to make changes at a later date you have to run the .img file again to go into CWM and then make the changes.
It was forever getting my PC to recognize my Slatebook. I guess I am back in the ADB business, like it or not.

Flash TWRP 2.8 via fastboot and you won't need the cable anymore.
No more cable
Understood and you are exactly correct. Thanks.
Will not "SEE" tablet
I remember when I first rooted it using the "expensive cable" method and that I had a real challenge then and it was all about the USB drivers. Stupid me did not write down the steps so now I am having to go through the same process again, but this time with NO luck.
Does anyone have maybe a list of items for me to check out to assure that whatever conflict I have is removed and I can install MayaMod? It would be most appreciated.
Thanks.

A Solution for us non-techies
I kept trying to connect my tablet to my PC and failed miserably. So, I started trying ROM installers that I found in Google Apps. After trying 4-5 of them I came across FLASHIFY. It is FREE for the first three flashes and for $3.99 (US) you unlock it and can flash whatever you want.
I used my first two flashes to flash the IMG file provided via the "expensive cable" method and the TWRP zip file, both done as a batch. The TWRP zip file did not fully install so I used my third flash to reflash the TWRP zip file and this time it installed correctly. I then paid the $3.99 (US) and used Flashify to install the MayaMod zip file.
MayaMod is great, has many cool features, not to mention the opening screen.
Many thanks to everyone for your guidance.

Flashify app is used to flash kernels and recoveries from booted Android, very useful for rooted devices without custom recoveries or fastboot access. Free version is limited to 3 files per day but you can use Rashr app (included in MayaMod) which is basically the same but with no limit and for free.
Now that you achieved it, welcome to this thread and I hope you enjoy MayaMod.
Tablet 2 SD
Now, if someone will finally create a real app that really moves apps to an EXTERNAL SD card and will assure they will run from the SD card, we will really be in business.
ROM updated!!! Enjoy!!

My wife uses this phone and though the Android is very stable on that one, upgrading to Lollipop would be wonderful.
Let me understand few things:
1. This is for Optimus Vu2 F200 phone.
2. My wife's phone already comes with SuperSU. I assume it is already rooted.
3. So, where do I start?
4. You are saying there are no bugs with Lollipop on this phone?

Well yhis make your flashing easier . just go to the second step
Looks like this is not so easy. She is happy with 4.1.2 and does not want to upgrade and handle any potential issues that come along with the new version (bad experience with Note 10.1 old version upgrade to KitKat.)
Is there better battery life after this upgrade?

The stock 4.4.2 has no issues at all . try it . for the fancy look try lg g3 theme
In case she does not like 4.4, how do I downgrade back to 4.1.2?
I was trying a few other mods that took me to installing apps to toggle root but needed special SU and all that jazz...I was not very comfortable with installing another app just to toggle it.
So I tried a terminal command way and it worked well, but remembering the commands and typing it in all the time sucked so I found an updater script that will work just the same.
Only bug is reverting back might take two flashes because of the mounting another folder. I might try and solve it when I have time but works flashing it twice.
The code I used makes it easy to know if it's working....look at theses screenshots of the recovery log

How this works:
The script will look at the folders bin and xbin where the su files are located so simply remaning them suBU will kill root and apps that look for root...the other script renames it back to su from suBU so rooted again on boot! Simple and clean!
To confirm you can flash them and get the nothing to message just to make sure!
If you have root in other folders and this does not work let me know and I will try and make special zips.
Hope this helps you CATCH 'EM ALL and use android Pay of course.

LG G2 d800. Custom LolPop ROM. Apparently I am no longer rooted, but the LP cust ROM must be causing the PoGo "not compatible". Have tried a few suggestions to no avail. Cant access TWRP anymore either. Any ideas?

Oh man no TWRP access, you need recovery or you could root then use a terminal app and do these commands to find and hide the files they check for.
I got that from G+ so no credit to me for that, and it inspired my script.
Reboot after done

Okay, used Kingroot, but It's acting kind of funny. I think it's rooted. At least it passed root checker app twice. Then tried to use Flashify to flash TWRP img. 2.8.6 which was on there as my recent recovery image. Tapped boot into recovery and the LG logo with the boot certificate error came up. I thought I was screwed, but hit power button, and it did a regular boot into Lolli.
I'm nervous about messing with it. Last thing I want is another brick. Is there a way to check for sure that TWRP is on there successfully?
And if it is, and if I am rooted, You're saying that entering all of that code into terminal command will work and allow Pogo? Sounds too good to be true. I'm sure I'll find another new and unusual way to brick that I haven't done yet...

Oh man no TWRP access, you need recovery or you could root then use a terminal app and do these commands to find and hide the files they check for.

Does this do the same as if I went into the file through ES File Explorer and delete the su out of xbin? That trick worked for me over the weekend after I flashed CM13 and MM. I think I read somewhere it only works on CM13.

If you boot recovery then it's safe now. Yes that script worked on non systemless root but I got lazy and made zips to do the same thing in recovery. While Android is running I wouldn't delete Root files..Just a bad feeling. I go to recovery for all system files just for piece of mind lol

Someone suggested renaming the files, instead of deleting them. Also, I don't want MM. I prefer LP. Do you know if I can flash CM 13 and run Lollipop on it?
I'm still really new to all this.

My script does rename them inside the zip, I just got the idea from that pic on G+. CM13 is Marshmallow though lollipop would be CM12....I recommend whatever runs good on your device. I use CM13 but I'm a Nexus user.
Yeah, that's what I thought. I just wasn't a fan of MM when I used it for a day last weekend, plus PoGo would freeze for a second or two every time I caught one. Anyway, thanks for your feedback. Maybe someone will come up with a workaround, or maybe those Niantic F"ers Will come to their senses and stop their idiocy of blocking innocent root users.
Hi @djdarkknight96, could please help me on my HTC Desire 620? I successfully flashed the PokerFix.zip file, however after rebooting, Android Pay still identifying the device as rooted, unlocked bootloader or running a custom ROM...any ideas? Many thanks in advance.

Hi @javad0644,
Thank you very much for this tutorial and the files you have provided. Lots of Samsung Galaxy C7 (SM-C7000) owners were waiting something like this on XDA for a while. Your thread is new, so more C7 owners will press "THANKS" button when they see/recognize your this thread, so please be patient and kindly continue development on this device. After finding a rooting method for this device, now we need a TWRP Recovery for C7. If you have enough knowledge about this subject and if you could prepare a TWRP Recovery for this device then we would appreciate your work much more. And when you prepare a TWRP Recovery, we could test it..
Thanks for your work and effort..
For which version of these files are supported to root? 5.1.1 or 6.0.1
its for 6.0.1

Is it working? Have you tested it? Sorry to ask, but noones actually stated that yet apart from the dev - congratulations are one thing, reviews another
Thanks in advance!
Works! I just updated to C7000ZZH2AQC2, then flashed the included tarball.
Had to update supersu app and then reflash the tar file - after reboot SuperSu updated the binary and all was fine.
My device had HK firmware installed to begin with.

As you stated in your secondary post, the rooting method in this thread is working for Samsung Galaxy C7 (SM-C7000).. But, in the OP, there are just root files, there isn't any TWRP Recovery for C7. So, now we need a TWRP Recovery for C7..

I have tested Chinese Firmware and upon bootup it showed a bold, yellow triangle warning saying (roughly translated):
"Non-Samsung Official System The operating system B on your device is modified and may be unsafe. And will lead to increased battery consumption, short standby time. Call 400-810-5858 to contact customer service."
I suggest that if you try this on Chinese Firmware and it doesn't work, go back and install stock firmware using Odin (Only CHC Region will work on chinese firmware).
Thanx a lot @javad0644 I successfully rooted my c7 with your method. Btw the firmware is C7000ZHU2AQF2
Thank-you so much

Instructions for unlocking bootloader can be found here
Thank you @20tibby_gt06 for these instructions
TWRP Installation
1 - Download TWRP
2 - Reboot into boootloader mode
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
3 - Check to see if fastboot mode is working
Code:
adb fastboot devices
4 - Change working directory in terminal to your Downloads folder (or whatever folder TWRP is located)
Code:
cd Downloads
5 - Then type:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Replace "recovery.img" with the name of your file (I always change mine to recovery.img for less typing in the terminal)
For reasons unknown to me, some people have reported a successful flash with this method but TWRP ends out being non-existent when rebooting to recovery. If this is the case for you try this:
1 - Follow steps 1-4 above
2 - Enter this command instead for step 5:
Code:
fastboot boot recovery.img
This will temporarily boot TWRP onto your device allowing you to flash the needed files to boot LineageOS

Quick question. I know own I shouldn't dirty flash but if I do will it keep the encryption in my external SD?
I use it as internal so I don't want to have to go through setting it all up again!
Will back it up anyway just in case

Also another random question. I find the WiFi in the other lineage rom to be slow.
This to me isn't a deal breaker as the performance difference overall is so much better but it would be interesting to know other people thoughts and if you think it is quicker in this new ROM.
For example I tried remote play and it's a laggy mess and downloading from the play store seems to take much longer than all my other devices.
fastboot twrp install wont work

I will work on a tutorial this evening for everyone for unlocking bootloader and installing twrp. It will be in post 2
One thing for now for you to try is instead of doing fastboot flash recovery recovery.img try fastboot boot recovery.img. that will temporarily boot it allowing you to flash the ROM, Gapps and root if you choose.

Ok encrypted sd caused me no end of issues so did a full wipe.
First bug I have got is in the camera. Keeps asking for sd to be inserted even though storage permission enabled.

That's strange, camera works great for me. Can you post logs?
Something is wrong. Magisk won't write to sd.
Log collector can't get access to collect the log.
Not sure what's going on!!
EDIT: Sorted it. It was because I had used external sd as internal. For some reason even after a full wipe it was looking for it. I had to tell it to forget it and now all is well.

I managed to install your ROM using the temp twrp install method! Enabled root within rom settings! Installed flashify and gave it root permission then I was able to flash twrp.img permanently via flashify! Rom is lightning fast compared to the stock ROM! WiFi not as fast but I can live with that! Screencast doesn't find my Philips TV but other casting apps find it fine! Excellent ROM! Congratulations to the developer
