I release my new game Minimal Brick Breaker.
Minimal Brick Breaker offers a new experience on this classic arcade game.
As the name says it, the game is based on a minimalist design. The game is very simple and focuses on the gameplay.
No score !
No life count !
On the game screens there are only bricks, balls, and your pad.
Each sets of levels has its own set of color, for a total of 100 colorful levels.
For each level you have 3 lives.
Finish the game to unlock two special game modes : Microgravity Mode and Epileptic Mode !
Features :

9 powerups

Hi !
After one month of gathering feedbacks, I released the first update for Minimal Brick Breaker !
This update is mainly about fine tunings :
* Increase of the number of lasers fired by the laser gun (from 10 to 14).
* Increase of the probability of getting a powerup by 2%.
* Increase of the duration of several powerups.
* Slight decrease of the ball speed and increase of the bar width.
* The microgravity mode is now unlocked after the 3rd group is complete (level 75) and the Epileptic mode is unlocked after finishing the game.
These modifications make the game a little bit easier to play. But if you want more challenge, you can still increase the game speed in the option menu.
I am currently working on the next update that will be a new group of 25 levels !

I really appreciate your game. The graphics style and sound effects are relaxing, and the game has an overall "good quality" feeling.
I find the first levels of the game a bit hard and long though. I would suggest making mini tutorial levels at the beginning (even without any text), just to show you the effects of the different powerups.

Yeah, I am regularly told about the difficulty of some levels. It comes from the fact that in many levels, the first row of bricks is very low, so the player needs to have good reflexes. That's how I wanted the game, and for those how think it's to difficult, they can put the game on a slow speed mode in the option menu.
And I should work on a kind of tutorial or at least an information screen, that's on my to-do list.

Maybe you could make the game change speed. Cuz after a while its not reflexes its just rhythm. Having changing speeds keeps the player into the game and makes it unexpected and interesting.
Great idea, might implement on my next one =)
Hope to keep the "One" second concept for this, where you could relaxed, since you wont need to tap more than once / second, but difficulty does increase, where the offset is reduced every 5 pts.

Its a challenging and addictive app indeed! Goes to show that sometimes its the simple ideas that work best. I like that there is a variety of game modes. However I must say the ad and game service pop ups are quite frequent. I really suggest tuning them down so they do not annoy users too much. Some more features and game modes would really help, other than that its a nice app.

Thx for the support, will reduce the frequency of interstitial ads, its really annoying to me as well.

Overall great game but I agree with others in that ads are a little too much and I had the same issue with my game I ended up just making ads show up only once every other level instead of every level. It substantially reduces my income but at the same time improves user experience so there is a trade off of sorts, it depends which one you care more about xD

- Improvements in joystick control.
- Multiplayer will be added soon, most likely on a local level first then globally.
- More levels will be added soon! 25 is more than enough to satisfy you all for a while
- So far this is a zero bug release, however if any bugs appear they will be patched immediately!
- We will try to get the file size smaller soon.
V1.0.4 has been added to the market addressing some minor issues. I will add V1.0.5 which will focus on some more analytic stats to help me determine from my end what to improve.

Hi js, thank you for pm, but I would prefer if you posted bug related issues in the thread rather than in pm, so that everyone could be aware of the issue.
Our fellow Android brother js has discovered that you cannot go to level 2 from the level selection area, although you can with level 3+. After tracing the issue, it turned out to be a very simple fix, and now you can go to level 2 via the level selection area. I have published a new build that will patch this issue along with adding more analytics. Thanks js for catching that!
V1.0.5 Update
The V1.0.5 publishing has now gone gold! Please update to fix a minor bug with loading level 2 and so that more analytic data can be retrieved. The next update or two will mainly be for concluding all the analytic data I need. Then I will look into optimizing the optional joystick movement.

Some comments:
1) What I don't like about the controls is that it is impossible to hold down both "joysticks" at the same time - to look around, you always have to stop and vice versa. It would just "feel" much better if you could move and look around at the same time, I mean, why do we have two thumbs if we can use only one of them?
2) Gameplay wise, I think that already the first level is very hard because it is much too long. It introduces a lot of gameplay elements on a high difficulty and the main problem is, that after you have mastered one, you will die on the next one and have to restart from the beginning of the level. My suggestion would be to add some more, very short levels before this "first" level that introduce the skills you need for the first level already there. Then, this level will be much less frustrating

1. Agreed, this is an issue I've been trying to tackle since day one. I still can't figure out how to have multiple touch inputs but I believe I'm getting close.
2. I'm surprised, I thought level 1 was actually really easy and straight forward . If multiple input was introduced, would that make a difference? And also, what if I added a midway checkpoint? I am definitely able to shorten some of the levels but so far it hasn't been a big deal, I'll wait to see some more feedback before revamping some of the levels. I appreciate you bringing it up though!

I really like the simplistic controls, however the perspective really brings me some trouble I feel like at times I have no idea where I'm falling to. And the ads oh the long ads...

This game is good but i think that a nice colorfull 2d cartoon graphics whould be better suited for this kind of game. Of course it is only my opinion so don't wory to much and bring your game to perfection ^^ Good Job!

So what is Iridium you may ask?
Iridium is a blend of racing and endless runner for Android as well as for browser. It is easy to learn and very fun to play! It also offers various customization. Try it out!
How do I play it?
It is very simple.
For Android
Tap left to go left, tap right to go right. As simple as that!
For Browser
Use the A and D keys on your keyboard!
What platforms is it available for?
You can play it in your browser or download it on Android.
What do I do in the game?
Well Iridium offers three modes to the players - Imppossible mode, Levels and Multiplayer! In Impossible mode you have only 1 chance, go as ahead as possible and beat the highscore! Also it offers coins that you can collect to customize the player!
Levels are basically races, races with opponents and races with time! Its easy in beginning but gets on harder. How many levels can you pass?
Multiplayer, you race against another player! Use WASD or Arrow keys to move!
This game also has in game ads only in Android version. Android version may differ from the browser.

Very fun but not mutch content
Cool game and concept. The 10 levels available are each cool and unique. Level 10 is my favourite, its hard but good. The graphics are suprisingly okay besides some minor visual buds like tracks not being connected correctly or overlapping each other and flimmering. Really waiting for new levels. With enough time this has a lot of potential.
