Can you post the edited file (Source)
because i have already edited the framework file so i cant replace it
i just pull framework-res.apk and extract it,
edit bool.xml in framework-res\res\values\bool.xml
and change value config_animateScreenLights to false
and compile again
that's it bro

when extracting done, in your apk manager folder, you will find a folder named projects. in this projects folder you will find framework-res\res\values\bool.xml

yes i noticed that too
don't know why because i only edit one file
maybe apk manager (which compiling files into .apk) is the cause.

If this can be ported for the XXKB3, You sir are my hero. I want this so damned bad! GB is so dry! No themes makes it horrible to use :\ I hope in the future devs that Samsung will add the option to apply your own themes flawlessly and an option to select specific features. [CRT, Overglow]

For the status bar to look like Jellybean, all you need to do is extract your SystemUI.apk and open it with 7zip and change the icons found in drawable folder with that of any Jellybean based SystemUI.apk. Note that you may need to resize the images into LDPI based resolution, not a big deal though.
For adding toggles, there is no way other than decompiling and recompiling.

For L Style Header[Advanced] go HERE
For Panel Transparency go HERE
For adding L Style Date/Clock View go HERE
To add Battery/WiFi/Bluetooth/Alarm icons in Header go HERE
Yo guys! Today I am here with a simple tutorial to create a look alike L Style Header in notification Panel!
I was just playing with the layouts and made this
STEP 1:
1.Decompile SystemUI.apk.
go to res/layout/ and open status_bar_expanded_header.xml [MTK]/ tw_status_bar_expanded_header.xml[Samsung]
In second line find:
Code:
android:background="blablabla"
Make it look like this:
Code:
android:background="#ff243137"
Now in same XML find the rest
Code:
android:background="blablabla"
And replace all with this: [Keep android:background="#ff243137" as it is ]
Code:
android:background="#00000000"
Recompile the SystemUI. Don't sign it yet.
STEP 2
Now,
2.Again go to res/layout/ and open status_bar_expanded_header.xml [MTK]/ tw_status_bar_expanded_header.xml[Samsung]
Download the attached zip here, Extract the zip and paste l_header.9.png to res/drawable-hdpi or drawable-mdpi or drawable-xxhdpi [What your device has by default]
Find this in second line of the XML:
Code:
android:background="#ff243137"
Make it look like this:
Code:
android:background="@drawable/l_header"
Save the XML.
Now navigate to res/values/ and open dimens.xml and search for
Code:
<dimen name="notification_panel_header_height">48.0dip</dimen>
Change it to
Code:
<dimen name="notification_panel_header_height">96.0dip</dimen>
Save the XML.
Recompile the SystemUI, sign, push to system/app with permissions 644
