I am from Ecuador , I also had many network problems, I lost signal constantly , should be the difference in the frequency of this region with Russia , then decided to remove the modem ROM Trinidad and Tobago as it is the containing the first modem for the region of South America, after a whole day with the modem should say that the problem is not entirely solved but the signal has improved considerably.
Likewise, I 'm investigating to try to solve this problem
Great!
Modem works perfect. Signal problem is solved.
Now i will wait for Samsung to solve all bugs. Looking for better firmwares...
Thank you

Hi,
Update:
Can someone help me find any download source of this firmware,
Galaxy S6 DUOS, SM-G920FD
As I wanted to revert back to my unrooted + clean version of my phone when new update to Lollipop comes.
And if I feel to just reset everything, (sluggish/crawling) performance on my phone, a full flashing of stock firmware will be a good solution for me.
But unfortunately, from SamMobile firmware website, they do not have that kind of firmware on my phone.
Can you please, if any, share your firmware . Any help will be appreciated.
Details:
AP: G920FXXU1AODE
CP: G920FXXU1AODE
CSC: G920FOJV1AODE
Model: SM-G920FD
Android version: 5.0.2
A sigh of relief, i have found an existing post from this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61221936&postcount=226, a big thanks to him, its the one Im looking for
However, the firmware I have says that the CSC is from Mauritius , Im looking for CSC flashables from Philippines, FAM, GLB, OLB*, SMA, XTC, XTE
I wonder if someone could share their *CSC only zip file from Philippines, so that I could change mine. Im not sure CSC does have any issues with single sim versus dual sim?
Up this thread. Anyone?
Sammobile stock S6 firmware. Just choose your country.

I can assure you that any countries with SM-G920F is compatible with all international s6 dual phones .
I already tested firmwares of SM-G920F from Afghanistan, France, Egypt etc. It works fine for our Dual Sim version( SM-G920F)
does OTA still works after you changed firmware with a different one from other region?
G920F and G920FD firmware compatibility
There is no compatibility between the stock firmware of s6 (G920F) and s6 duos (g920fd). I tried and messed up with my phone and now got stuck on bootloader.
i suggest you use Z3X to download the firmware for G920FD because till now there is no firmware support at sammobile. i got one from z3x support

Hey guys!
I got a question, can I just flash the french XEF update COI9, available since a few days, over my older, branded COH2 firmware without wiping or factory resetting anything? I don't want to wait for my updates for ages...
Current AP: G920FFXXU2QOH8
Current CP: G920FXXU2COH2
Current CSC: G920FVFG2COH4
Model: SM-G920F
It should be a branded S6 from Austria.
Thanks for ur help, I appreciate it!

Yes you can, but if you don't do a factory reset and wipes, you may have issues.
Hi
as I mentioned in an other post, yes it can be flashed. BUT you may consider, because U can't go back!
and the spo2 and stress meter is not working with this rom.
bye
p.s.: there is a new update, i will test it as soon as it will be downloaded (missing features )
ps. 2: i gave a try on this:
Model SM-G920F
Model name GALAXY S6
Country France
Version Android 5.1.1
Changelist 5816106
Build date Fri, 25 Sep 2015 07:07:03 +0000
Product code XEF
PDA G920FXXU3COI9
CSC G920FOXA3COJ1
but spo2, and stress meter is not working ..... But maybe this is a country restriction. i don't know yet

Hello
I have the following query about firmwares. Got an S5 which was purchased in Germany (Deutsche Telekom)
Now that 6.0.1 is out, I would like to upgrade to it, but I would like to switch to a different firmware, because I want a firware that is vendor-free, not associated to a specific provider (e.g. not startup logo, no bloatware etc). Just retail, as I would get it if I bought the device 'pay as you go' directly from Samsung.
I can see that there are the following 6.0.1 versions of the firmware for my device:
2016-06-07
Netherlands (Vodafone)
6.0.1
G901FXXU1CPE1
G901FVFG1CPE3
YES
2016-05-27
Romania (Vodafone)
6.0.1
G901FXXU1CPE1
G901FVFG1CPE3
YES
2016-05-27
Germany (Vodafone)
6.0.1
G901FXXU1CPE1
G901FVFG1CPE3
YES
2016-05-27
Spain (Vodafone)
6.0.1
G901FXXU1CPE1
G901FVFG1CPE3
YES
2016-05-13
Nordic countries
6.0.1
G901FXXU1CPE1
G901FNEE1CPE1
YES
2016-05-10
Germany
6.0.1
G901FXXU1CPE1
G901FDBT1CPE1
NO

The last two (Nordic countries and Germany), don't mention a specific provider. Does that mean that those are 'retail' ROMs, as I described above? Am I good to pick one of those two?
Cheers
Anyone??
My device baseband version is G901FXXU1ANI3 and it's got 4.4.4 on it.
Which, according to sammobile is:
G901FXXU1ANI5/G901FTNL1ANK2/G901FXXU1ANI3/G901FXXU1ANI5 (Netherlands (T-Mobile) - TNL)

Now, can I follow these instructions:
Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Download Odin v3.11.1
Extract Odin ZIP file
Open Odin v3.11.1
Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes

and flash to any 6.0.1 release?
e.g.
2016-07-11
Netherlands
6.0.1
G901FXXU1CPF6
G901FPHN1CPF2
Click to collapse
or
2016-05-13
Nordic countries
6.0.1
G901FXXU1CPE1
G901FNEE1CPE1

or
2016-05-10
Germany
6.0.1
G901FXXU1CPE1
G901FDBT1CPE1

Click to collapse
(am I right to assume that all those three 6.0.1 releases are 'stock', since they don't mention a telecom provider..?)
Thanks!
Hello,
You can indeed flash any of the firmwares you mentioned above. The ones with (Vodafone) are carrier branded, the ones without like "Germany" are not branded and it will be as if your phone was sold by Samsung directly.
All the best,
Tzuik
Suppose there is no way for me to tell if any of those firmwares include the MMB29V (fix for the memory leak issue) ??

Can someone clarify to me how to read (and understand!) firmware versioning?
For example: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G901F/
I am interested in upgrading to 6.0.1 (from 4.4.4)
And I want to pick a 'retail' ROM. I don't want a provider-specific ROM, as I believe there are chances that it will include provider-specific bloatware, which I don't need!
Then, I can narrow down potential 6.0.1 candidates by picking the latest 'Security Patch Level'. Which at this time is 2016-10-01
So far, so good. Let's look at the following two:
Model SM-G901F
Model name GALAXY S5
Country Greece
Version Android 6.0.1
Changelist 7582628
Build date Fri, 07 Oct 2016 07:54:26 +0000
Security Patch Level 2016-10-01
Product code EUR
PDA G901FXXU1CPJ1
CSC G901FEUR1CPE1
---------------------
Model SM-G901F
Model name GALAXY S5
Country Nordic countries
Version Android 6.0.1
Changelist 7582628
Build date Fri, 07 Oct 2016 05:48:37 +0000
Security Patch Level 2016-10-01
Product code NEE
PDA G901FXXS1CPJ5
CSC G901FNEE
Both are 'Retail' ROMS, right?
One is for Greece and the other for Nordic countries. I live in Greece. But what's the difference other than that? Language support? Isn't the Greek ROM contain Scandinavian languages and vice versa?
Changelist (and Security Patch Level) are identical. Build date is also similar.
PDA and CSC codes are different.
Can someone help me understand if there are any actual differences between those two 6.0.1 releases?

Sorry for the late reply mate. here is the deal: If for example you live in the nordic countries, you would prefer downloading that specific version due to language packs included and first boot language. If you install the Greece one, the language at boot will obviously be Greek. Same with GPS fix, there is a special file in each of these ROMs that points to your approximate location for the GPS to know, what satellites will it be looking for at start. If you take Greece and live in the US, it will take a little longer for your initial GPS to get a fix. I think there are also limitations regarding WiFi channels in the Modem files, depending on the selected country.

Thank you tzuik! That's most helpful
Boot language is no concern at all to me (since it can be changed after first boot). Only thing that would interest me here, is that if there is a possibility to have e.g. English language, but with an option for Greek keyboard. I am guessing that's not possible, right? The keyboard language is always fixed to whatever language you chose the system language to be. I am asking this, since I would have liked to have English (UK) as system language, but have the option of Greek keyboard (i.e. for typing for SMS, chat etc)
GPS and Wifi, although not of critical importance, it's nice to have them optimized for my country.
Thanks ever so much

You can have whatever language you prefer on the keyboard, independent of the language of the OS. If you choose the Samsung one, just open settings > Language and input > under "Keyboards and input methods" select "Samsung keyboard" > "+ Input Languages" and you will find a long list where Greek should be as well. Once you select it, it will download the dictionary for it and you can switch between English/Greek when texting by swiping on the Spacebar left or right. You can also install other keyboards like Google, Swype, etc. and you can change the default keyboard in the same menu where it says " Default". They all have different settings and ways to cycle languages so you have to play around and choose whichever fits you best.
Best regards,
Tzuik
Excellent, that will do then!
Hello seniors
i got a s7 box and model no. shown in settings is sm-g930fd with baseband -G930FXXU1APEQ,
and in the phone info app
PRODUCT CODE: SM-G930FZDUXSP
PDA VERSION: G930FXXU1APEQ
CSC VERSION:G930FOLB1APEQ
BASEBAND VERSION: G930FXXU1APEQ
ANDROID VERSION : 6.0.1
i assume as per device seems either of Thailand, Vietnam or Cambodia
but the App says Singapore and model as SM-6930F
Anyways I am in India, but want to use a network which works only with VoLTE, but when I try to activate it it says VoLTE is not supported by your current software version. So seeking help regarding changing region Rom shall solve my issue and if it does , which country variant would best suit for me (preferably India, not an issue if any country variant supports VoLTE).
Expecting expert advise on how to update to another country variant Rom, or any other thing could solve the issue.
thanks
Amit
Hi,
I just ordered a Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F) Exynos and got it with a stock firmware from United Kingdom (EE):
Product code EVR
PDA G930FXXU1DQE7
So here is what I need to know:
Is it possible to flash this stock firmware from T-Mobile Germany without rooting and bricking the device using ODIN:
Model SM-G930F
Model name Galaxy S7
Country Germany (T-Mobile)
Version Android 7
Changelist 11104523

Security Patch Level 2017-05-01
Product code DTM
PDA G930FXXU1DQEA
CSC G930FDDX1DQD3
I need to have that firmware on the device to be able to use VOLTE in that network since that does not work with the other stock firmware.
Thanks in advance for any help. I just want to make sure not to brick anything. Hope you can help me out.
Best regards,

International models can generally all flash firmware from different regions as long as they have the same model number.
I DO NOT PROVIDE HELP IN PM, KEEP IT IN THE THREADS WHERE EVERYONE CAN SHARE
