I made probably the first ever xperia m2 aqua rom, so i need you to test it out.

Installation:
Install any cwm or twpr or phillz recovery,do full wipe and flash zip.
If the kernel is not working flash original from flashtool.
in 1 week ill probably release full version of rom
//Not all of the apps on the screenshoot are installed

The app datas seems to be lost somewhere during installation or so.

Be prepared
Confirmed working on locked and ulocked bootloader.
Things you'll need:Rooted phone,at least 2.3 gb free space,usb cable,maybe stock image.
Installation: Download all 3 rar files.extract folder named data,copy it to phone,from phone cut folder data to root of your phone.Go into recovery,under mount format sysetm,then click on backup and select my file.After backuping reboot and enyoj.
Note:i made backup because zip are not suported on any kind device with bootloader or can be troubles.

Thanks for the feedback.
The rom is working ok for alpha release(i think)
I just have problems with preroot whic doesn't start the apps for the system to work properly.
You'll need to root apart
But as said this is still alpha and i just wanted to show you and start with it so somebody could make custom rom.

Well I reflash whole system and did basic settings then I flashed zip.
Wait about a day because v2 will probably have the flashing fixed.
I have pretty slow internet so it takes a while to upload.

v1 is working.
v1.1 have a flash for dummies, so only format /system and do my restore.
It takes less time to deal with the zip.

Im soory i try it uploading it for a month now but doesn't have stable internet.

V1 is not working always q I try to install it the mobile loops boot, the settings will not google, is a black screen and then restarts looks like all the time ...
good job. Finally someone who created a rom for my smarphone. Follow the friend job.

BTW, back to topic, I saw that the file is 258 MB and there is no gapps one, so I assume the ROM already contains gapps, doesn't it? Are they updated or are they the ones from 201303 package?
Actually I have a really poor internet signal so I don't think I'll be able to test the ROM 'till this afternoon (let's hope), but I'll report my impression, if you please, as soon as I can!
last question: why Penguin ROM? Is it an homage to Linux (which I love! ), isn't it?

I cannot flashed the rom after a full wipe. It doesn't want to be installed.

Nothing more. I use TWRP without problem everytime
After the full wipe, select your rom for install and valid. The install try to run but nothing.
After 1/2 min a message tell me that the tablet cannot install it and reboot.
The recovery came back to the menu and use my backup for restore.
I haven't try and another time cause I hadn't time for.
I really like this rom but since I installed it, my wifi has been nuts. Half my apps say no internet connection and some work perfect. Got a full wifi signal and am only a couple feet away. Tried resetting it and changing the settings but nothing.

I'm sorry, I posted this in the wrong one. I couldn't find the thread so I searched it, I didn't realize I was on the 3G page. I downloaded and installed the regular wifi version.

Hi bro, sorry i've come too late. Just installed this rom. There is some miss in this rom, im sorry to say that. The screenshoot will be added soon. And i cant even shutdown or reboot my miro, because after i choose the shutdown option, the sendu bootanimation comes up and then it takes me back to my lockscreen. And sometimes i get the message "Unfortunately, the SenduHomeScreen (or something like that) is stopped working". Oh i got a question. Ive backed up in CWM before installing this rom, and after that i tried to restore the backup but it say that the MD5 is mismatched. What should i do?

Yes bro I'm aware of the bugs... sorry i haven't got time to prepare bug list.. though i can give you fresh shenduhome.apk...
MD5 mismatch means your backup is broken... if you'll restore this backup anyhow than your restore won't be clean this may cause alot of errors..
also next time make sure you have enough space left in the phone to have complete backup...

Added some attachments on my previous post
But when i finished the backup on cwm, its says "Backup finished" and my ext_card still got plenty of space (5 GB) Ok bro i'll waiting for your next thread/post, good job bro :good:

I would really like to try this rom, but unfortunately the keypad to enter the Pin does not fit. It is positioned too low, so Its impossible to access the ok button. Therefore I am always stuck at entering the Pin.
Is there any fix for that?
This is a problem of all MIUI-Roms, I have tried so far.

After trying many many ROMs for my GT-N7100 I've always come back to using this one. Now it is time to share my "customizations" with the community.
Miata ROM gives me the longest battery life I have ever experienced on my Note 2 without loosing much functionality and still remains stable and useable. I almost always get 8+ hours of screen time and very little battery drain in stand-by.
FEATURES

Best battery life compared to almost every other ROM
Almost 100% stock
No NFC/WiFi Direct (I never use it so I stripped it out)

HOW TO INSTALL
Code:
1. Move .zip to sd card
2. Reboot into recovery
3. MAKE A BACKUP FIRST
4. Do a complete wipe/factory reset
5. Wipe system again to be sure
6. Flash .zip
7. Reboot and enjoy!
I would love to hear your feedback about this ROM and see if everyone else is getting improved battery life/screen time.
I would also recommend flashing my Franken-Beats audio mod to enhance the sound of your system.

-:How to Flash:-
Use custom KK recovery from here.
I prefer [CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch 6.57.9 - cwm 6.0.5.1.
(Internal sd-card refereed as sdcard00, external as sdcard01)
Download rom zip file.
Put into sd card.
Flash the desired recovery.
Boot into recovery.
BACKUP CURRENT ROM
Wipe for flash of new rom.
Or wipe data/system/delvic cache/cache.
Select Install From SD (Internal or External)
Select the zip file and Select YES
Reboot.
THINGS TOBE NOTED
First boot takes time 3-5 mins so be patient.
After the boot logo (boot logo may look as if its stucked)
blank screen is seen its not hanged.
wait until it boots.
Phone reboot once inbetween so dont worry.
If recovery ask to disable recovery flash just select NO otherwise init.d wont work.

Camera is best part... But looks like eats up more battery. A longer run on this may give a clear picture.
KitKat keyboard force closes only if you try swiping through keys.. Not a big issue..
Tried Google keyboard , works fine.
System partition had no space left default. But you can uninstall some system apps if needed.
WiFi ,3g ,otg every thing works..
Lenovo launcher also supports themes.

No matter what, don't stop churning out ROMs for our device. I'm trying each and every ROM you are cooking up too. I guess lot of people use the ROMs but are time bound send in reviews. I'm sure everyone here truly appreciates the good work you do :highfive:

Actually, avi u r much faster, keep some time lag between two ports, so that end users may get sufficient time to enjoy the new port. Then u will get proper reviews.

Testing rom since last night, some issues I've found are:-
1. Rom is improperly rooted, superuser is not working
2. No space is available in /system
3. Poor network coverage reception
4. Charging battery icon in switched off mode is distorted.
5. No restart option in power menu.

Notes:
Should update bootloader. It is attached as a ZIP file but is not flashable! You need to fastboot flash it. For those in windows I have batch file in there along with ADB and fastboot.
First boot is a loooooooooooong time! About 5 to 7 minutes!
You must be on TWRP 2.8.1.0+ for this ROM to Flash properly!
Troubleshooting
If you get no status bar reboot to recovery and clear all cache. If that doesnt work try flashing the factory image then flash TWRP again and then this ROM.
Getting Symlinks failed during install? Make sure /system is unchecked in TWRP mounts
Problems with internal storage? Look at THIS POST for fix by @freakzapster
Root not working right? Flash newer SuperSU by @Chainfire but play store update should be fine!

Let me know what you guys think... They changed some things around and I am "semi" anticipating problems. Obviously I had zero testing time beings I started on it as soon as I got out of work and upload it after a very minimal function test: Play Store, Hangouts, GPS, Maps and that was it.

I "think" I see more eyecandy animation but cant say for sure. As I noted above I had very little time to play.

Sorry... I put the bootloader in the op and you should be on 4.04.
You can prolly get buy with 4.02, many people did on the initial 5.0.0. release.

I'm at "Android is upgrading", so dirty flash over 5.0 rooted stock seems to have worked OK.

Normally me too , but I figured since it was only a minor update and I was already running the same stock 5.0.0 ROM I'd give it a try. Eveything seems fine so far. No issues at all yet.

Edit: Sadly tons of 3rd party apps still haven't been updated for Lollipop even after almost 1 month since it was released. Minion Rush and Dead Trigger 2 still work like I have a 2009 device. It's the app's fault or Lollipop's hardware acceleration or memory management, but I am 80% sure that it's because those apps haven't been updated. They work fine for 2 seconds then another 2-3 seconds they go into slow motion mode and sadly I have to go back to KK until this is fixed

Are there any problems if we use CWM instead of TWRP? I'm not a TWRP kid of guy...

So it looks like YouTube mediaplayer is fixed and (at last!) volume control on animated gifs in Instagram works properly (previously it was changing notifications level not media). Hopefully WiFi connection will be also stable but this needs a longer testing.

Maybe be placebo efect like Scott said... but, I think the animations are a bit better more detailed... I dont know I always use animations in 0.5x... Maybe they had improved...

Battery lasts for around 10 days with this specific firmware version for me. It's amazing :angel:
