Hi guys,
I have an XDA ATOM and a BT dongle using Bluesoleil.
I've paired them both up and I am able to use the computer as a "Wireless Stereo" - thus rerouting music/sounds to be played via the computer speakers. Now I can play mp3's and other audio from my PDA direct on my computer speakers.
This is great, but not exactly what I hoped for. I was hoping to route the phone audio instead ("Wireless Headset"). That is, routing the audio that I hear when I'm in a phone call. I've configured the Bluesoleil application to have the "Wireless Headset" service enabled, along with all the other services.
The weird thing is, my Atom only shows up "Serial Port" and "Wireless Stereo" when paired with my computer.
Any ideas on how I could get it working?
Thanks in advance.

You need to set yr Atom as Handsfree in yr Bluesoliel BT Software....

Hi,
Thanks for replying.
How exactly do I do that? I dont get any options which I can change when I'm pairing up the ATOM with my computer. It pairs up as a "Device name" and then BlueSoleil picks up all the services the ATOM is compatible with, ie. DUN/File Transfer. It doesnt seem like its possible to specify the ATOM to be a handsfree device in BlueSoleil itself.
look for the services after the device discovery..there are options for BT Audio..
I'm able to connect to my computer and use the Audio Gateway (in the headset mode) (computer is being used as the headset)
I can enable the handsfree when in a call. I'm able to see the number of the caller on my computer when the phone rings. I can answer the call from my computer.
Problem is I can't hear a thing.
I have switched the audio mixers between Realtek AC97 Audio (my soundcard), Bluetooth Audio and Bluetooth High Quality Audio and I still can't hear a thing. Is there a way to map my BT dongle's audio gateway output to my soundcard?
BUMP.... anybody?
The BlueSoliel software is notoriously crap, it's why it's used on all the cheap dongles, because they charge so much less for their licenses.
This should work fine with the Widcomm bluetooth stack on your PC, I have done this before as it was nice to use my PC's headset while I was gaming to take calls also.
Haven't tried it in a couple of years though, but it definately worked with Widcomm.
if i were to get a bluetooth dongle i would buy one directly from broadcom
(who makes the widcomm software)
because even if other makers also license the software
broadcom release firmware to match the later versions of widcomm
if other dongle makers dont newer versions of widocmm dont work or dont work very well with the software
Well that's the thing... with Blue Soliel I would expect this kind of a problem, but I have a dongle which uses the Widcomm Stack. I've tried everythign possible and yet no sound. I even tried it with another laptop which was using a Blue Soliel donle... tried doing it both ways... ie accessing sound on both ends... but nothing.
BUMP........
On my Touch Pro, when connected to my bluetooth phone system in my car, the audio out won't work.
Basically the car only does the phone functions and will not connect to read the music off my phone. So I have connected the phone to the audio line in to my car, expecting to get sound, No luck
What i need to do is have the bluetooth working as wel as the headphone out. Is there a registry setting that allows this?
thanks
SteveB
Make sure the A2DP is connected if the car system supports it. If it doesn't connect automatically use A2DP toggle to connect it.
Cool find, It works fine, but I don;t get a gui on a Touch Pro with TF3D enabled. Will i need to use manual shortcuts?
thanks
Steveb
i've got most everything working over bluetooth
been able to make file transfers, import contacts and sms via bluetooth
but i set out on this project in hopes to have a working microphone for my pc using the phone and/or earbud/mic with oem htc adapter
i do not own a bluetooth headset and my pc is across the room...so figured this is worth a shot
first
my setup:
sprint touch pro on ppcgeeks clean bazzle rom (fairly recent build)
IVT Bluesoleil 6.4.249.0 (PC bt app)
HK-730 usb dongle (pc) (it is bt 2.0 +EDR and yes a2dp capable)
The IVT software seems to function and i am shown via right click the ability to mute advance audio, which is semi working (all i get is static).
The bluetooth sco audio microphone shows in my pc audio recording devices, but when unmuted by IVT all i get is clicks and static
It somewhat responds to my voice...i mean the sound meter grows somewhat correspondingly...
but nothing is coming through...besides strange click sounds and static.
i'm so close i can taste it...
my first thoughts were the sample rate and bitdepth
the pc speaker outputs are selectable...but nothing near the mic recording rate
i may be up the creek as my pc has an inferior realtek audio alc662.
My other thought was some kind of setting on the phone.
Hands free, stereo audio, & com connections are all selected in the bluetooth settings for the connection to my pc.
i figured it was worth a post on the forums for some possible solution
first I would read the info about how to get a normal bluetooth headset working as mic on a pc
http://www.google.com/search?source...set+as+mic+for+pc&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=
could very easy just be
1. your pc's bluetooth stack don't support that bluetooth profile
2. your fuse don't support that bluetooth profiles
I need to connect my YF82C with bluetooth headset. The problem is that the standard bluetooth functionality allows this device to be dicovered, but it cannot dicover the other devices and communicate with them.
I have tried the Adeneo bluetooth manager for CE. It can dicover devices and pair the headset like a charm, but the sound is not transferred to the headset. It requires the BluetoothNav.exe running and it is just a 30 minutes demo. This is useless solution at all.
I have also tried a Bluesoleil 3.0 for CE, but it is unable to initialize the BT device and I have not succeeded to find working configuration settings.
Do you have any working solution how to connect this PNA with a BT headset, including the sound being redirected?
Thank you for any hints.
I know its possible to send audio from an Android phone via bluetooth to a PC using the a2dp profile. But I want to do it the other way. Connect the phone to my amplifier and send audio via bluetooth a2dp from my laptop.
I've searched but not found. Anyone know it it's possible?
