Bluetooth functionality is horrible after the OTA update. I've seen with other devices similar issues (like the G3). I've had to switch to using my aux cable in the car to prevent the annoying Bluetooth skip, lag, and stutters.
Has anyone found a temporary solution to this? Maybe another kernel?
I haven't been able to root yet, I don't think CF autoroot supports the XT1034 yet.
Any help is appreciated!
Same issues on XT1039
So far no sensible response from anyone except try a factory reset, I might try that tonight and report back

I tried the factory reset w/cache wiping and it worked for a couple of months... Now I am getting the same issues again. Rubbish update. I hate myself for having done it. Has anyone found a solution?

Is anyone else experiencing problems with the MIUI roms and Bluetooth behaving unstable/unexepected?
All Miui roms I tried so far (including the latest MiuiFinalXt_V2) have the same problem, sound connection dropped as soon as phone is picked up.
Any ideas to solve this or is this a generally known Miui problem?
Thanks for your help!

Reboothed phone once problem solved
Did anyone ever figure this out? MIUI + Inspire = BT pairing but not connecting.
Reboots did nothing... I read about a Snap 7.6 kernel upgrade but not from a source I'm 100% comfortable with.
Any help would be appreciated.

After updating to 3.2 I no longer have audio output through headphone jack! I've already tried 2 factory resets and still no fix...I've also tried different headphones and external speakers to no avail. Soo lame man...I'm pissed. Anyone else have this issue? If you know of a fix please let me know.
Edit: Problem solved.
Thanks guys.
I just checked, and still have headphone audio using both Amazon Cloud and Mobo Movie player. I am rooted running 3.2 with Tiamat 2 kernel.
What was the problem?

Still not sure what exactly caused the problem, but I fixed it by booting into recovery and wiping the cache partition and doing a factory reset...(reset from the regular settings menu would not fix the problem)
Never been rooted either just in case you're wondering.
I recently flashed to AOSPStyleXfinal and I have really liked it thus far however my mic does not work consistently and I am forced to use a headset in order for people to hear me.
Anyone have any ideas as to why this is?
Is this a common issue with this Rom? Anyone else experiencing the same issues?
I can live with the issue but I would prefer that the phone worked 100%
Firmware 2.3.7
Kernel Version 2.6.35.7-sms-kj6-v0.1.1-rc2+
Build Number: AOSPStyle x
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Have you made a backup, then tried either a factory reset or the 1-click gremlin remover to see if it helps? What if you were to flash back to stock to see if the problem persists? I'm just wondering if it's a coincidence that your mic is intermittent vs. an issue with the ROM.
Hi All,
I am having issue using bluetooth on this phone. It doesnt connect to my Jawbone ICON HD and my car bluetooth. I tried everything I know to make this work. Is this a software issue? is anyone having the same issue? Please help.
Thanks

It would help if you provide a bit more info here. Do you have the XT925 or XT926? What's your car?
I own a XT925 - Australian (Telstra) version of the Razr HD. I've been able to connect it successfully to the following devices under the stock 4.1.2 and CM10.2/11:
Macbook Pro
Skoda Bluetooth 9W3 kit
Sony SBH-50 Headset
One thing to note is that the stock 4.1.2 regressed BT functionality - it wasn't sending track information (a bug in A2DP?), this has been fixed in CM10.2/11 and I assume really the fix comes from AOSP 4.3/4.4.
Do note that sometimes your phone may not be compatible with the device you're connecting to (actually, usually it's the other way round to be honest, with the device not implementing BT profiles correctly). In-built car BT is often known to do this. The Skoda BT 9W is luckily a very forgiving module with very little trouble reported by users.
YMMV.
I have BlueConnect in my car. It used to work before with no issues but now it stopped. The bluetooth connects to my phone but no voice or anything. I also have a jawbone ICON HD, the phone wont detect it at all. I feel its a phone issue. I am on stock 4.1.2. Phone is XT926
Any thoughts?

When did it stop working? Was it after a ROM upgrade or just on its own?
Does the Bluetooth setting appear to work at all - i.e. changing visibility, etc?
Have you tried looking at the kernel logs - i.e. with logcat?
Alright so I got it to work. I had to do a full factory reset erasing all data. Now it works.
I don't remember when I stopped working. But I used to think that it was my car bluetooth until I figured that it wasn't the case.
Thanks anyway.

Hello I am having issues with streaming media, pausing every 5 to 10 mins, it happens more often over bluetooth but it does happen with a aux cable too. I have a sm-g900t wth a stock rom, I have tried clearing the Bluetooth cache as well as the various app caches and still no luck I have even tried re pairing to my device and still have issues. If this is in the wrong place please let me know, I am starting to wonder if my device is faulty or if it's a software issue, I also have the latest update from tmobile, but I had this issue before the update but now it seems to be more pronounced and I have no ideas as to how to roll back updates. Any help will be appreciated. Thanyou
