[Completed] I cannot install Android on my HP Touchpad. No zip found, Aborting - XDA Assist

I have tried so hard and at my limit with this so please please help.
I have a touchpad and made a mistake of not restoring my webos. I have tried so many rom, recovery and gapps files with jc sullins tptoolbox v42 using my mac running on OS X and followed all instructions. For some reason I can not get zip files to install on the touchpad. It keeps on saying no zips found, aborting. Please help and suggest what should I do as my tablet has no use for it anymore. Thanks.

I also want to thank you for the links provided however I am not able to resolve my issue. Please point me in the right direction as to whom I need to ask for help in order to be best served. Many Thanks.

I've googled and tried a few apks to get google play on my tablet but no luck, I seem to get the problem parsing error usually.....
If anyone could help me it would be very much appreciated!
Would it be possible to get the playstore on there without rooting?
