[Q] Auto Power On Linx 7 Windows 8.1 w/Bing tablet - General Questions and Answers

Hi guys,
Couldn't find a forum for this tablet (Or it's twins, the Connect 7 or Pipo 7). Details below. Hopefully it's in the right place, if not could you let me know/move it?
It's a Windows 8.1 based tablet, with UEFI firmware, with the BayTrail processor/architecture.
I'm attempting to find a way to auto-boot it when power is applied - at present it will wake from connected standby when you apply/disconnect power, but it will not power on from being shutdown / hibernated (even when battery drain caused the hibernation).
There is an option in the BIOS about power state when external power lost, however reports have said this will brick the device completely which i'd rather not do!
Anyone got any ideas?
Cheers

Have you made sure that USB debugging is enabled on your device?
Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging
or you could do it manually - see attached Says Aishuo but should workd with any adb drivers.
Dont think it can be done perm as updates remove root.
computer wont recognize my tablet
when i first got my tablet i tried to plug it in to my computer with the included male to male usb cable with it turned off and after i turned it on it started up and the computer picked it up and installed drivers, after that my tab said enable usb debugging and enable mass storage then i was freely able to use it connected to the computer. later i tried to do the same and my tablet started up but nothing happened with the computer or the tablet. please help my computer is a dell inspiron and the usb cable is a normal male to male usb cable. i will use the zergerush method if i can have my computer recognize my tablet. maybe the problem is the usb cable itself but not the computer because I've tried it on three other computers and they all didn't pick up my tablet. i know its not the usb port on the tablet because it picks up my usb keyboard case and my iPod nano.
ive used tons of different one click methods and none of them worked. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!
also how can i download abd drivers for my device to use zergrush
Just flash this pre-rooted rom:

[Q] Broken Digitizer ADB ROM

Hello XDA,
allow me to point out my problem. Screen in my phone cracked, LCD works perfectly but digitizer does not. I didn't have USB Debugging on and I have made a factory reset so root is probably also gone.
My phone is Goclever Insignia 5x which is also known as Highscreen Alpha R, Karbonn Mobiles Titanium S7 and Maysun MID5002 ( Chinise Vendor ).
Specs:
CPU: MediaTek MTK6589T 1.5GHz (Cortex A7) QuadCore

BLUETOOTH Yes
SD CARD READER microSD up to 32GB
SIM CARD SLOT Dual Sim (3G and 2G)

What i have:
Original ROM + root + CWM : h t t p s://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10750423/UdstPub/pliki/forum.android.com.pl/GcI5xV5%21Files_to_FlashTool.zip
Original Kernel: h t t p://openlinux.goclever.com/INSIGNIA_5_5X/
My files (default and build prop and settings.db ): h t t p://www18.zippyshare.com/v/85260652/file.html
Let me describe what i need: as digitizer is broken I simply can't do anything "normal" which is obvious. I have installed drivers for my phone and used spflashtool successfully. When I'm in CWM I can use ADB to operate on files and shell. I know that there is an option to enable adb and get rid of welcome screen by adding lines to build prop and settings but I tried and my android would not start. I would also know if there is any way to modify kernel in order to enable OTG ( which I don't have ).
So basically I wanted to ask Android Masters to modify the ROM and/or Kernel ( that would make my life easier ) or guide me what to do ( without installing linux please if it isn't necessary )
Well that is all from me. I can provide any files from my phone as log as you tell me where to look for them . Any help appreciated. Thanks

[Completed] i want to install cynogen os in my firefox os phone named " intex cloud fx "

i want to install cynogen os in my firefox os phone named " intex cloud fx "
i just came across one of my friend who was using the one plus one handset and that how i got to know about cynogen os, so if i have to install it in my firefox enabled phone then please advice me the steps to do it?
secondly:
my reason to install cynogen is because it is supported for many handsets which doesn't come loaded with cynogen itself, but then too get install in it and can make a device usable enough atleast to do normal task as calling, looking at messages, whats app, downloading, accessing email, etc
my firefoz device is actually very slow because it only has a 128 mb of rom and 256 mb of ram for which it struggles to maintain even the dual sim functionality and hangs very frequently, so doing even the normal task itself has become a task
please help......

Hi
There is little you can do. OPO is a High end device which boasts Superior chipset and 3GB ram.
Your device doesn't even qualify to run an android OS ,cyanogen is out of question. Android 2.2(Froyo) specification requires 128MB usable RAM+ ram dedicated to other drivers. OS after that require more RAM and space.
You can post in Firefox OS forums for issues regarding the lag on your phone.

Chinese Tablet refuses to connect to Google or any HTTPS website

Hello guys,
I bought 3 chinese tablets 1.5 years ago and they have been working fine. Suddenly they stopped working, on all 3 tablets at the same time I am getting issues which is a clear message by itself instead of having different issues on one or two of them. The same issues on all 3 of them at the same time.
Here are the symptoms:
- Google Play Store = Cannot establish reliable connection - Timeout"
- Gmail = Doesn't connect with error message
- Browser = any google search which switches to HTTPS as I am logged in just times out. When I use HTTP instead of HTTPS I can use the google.com website to search. Any HTTPS connection of the browser times out to any website which is weird as I would get the Google issue but any website.
Steps taken:
- I tried on one of them a factory reset and still the same issues. As a matter of fact I cannot even reinstall the apps onto that tablet as Google Play Store doesn't come up again.
- I also checked the /etc/hosts file as searching this forum it implied that this is the issue but my file has only one entry which is the localhost 127.0.0.1 and that's it.
- I also looked into the countless certificates preinstalled on this tablet and disabled some of them to see if this is a certificate issue which wouldn't surprise me given that there are chinese, turkish, etc certificates installed and they might be no longer trusted or have been hacked, etc.
- I also tried to locate a new ROM which would make those tablets work again but I didn't find one and obviously I don't want the same one as I have now because it doesn't work after factory reset anyway
- I emailed the JYJ company in China and got zero response
Here are the specs of the tablets I bought from Amazon:
