Am running COS 12 17 L on my OPOs and am very satisfied
Have latest 15.2.2 version of Sygic maps installed. The run fine too, even after root and installing apps like Grennify.
The issue arises the moment I install Xposed framework they stop functioning and crash.
Any suggestions, expert thoughts?

It's a problem with Sygic software, they working on it, but it has low priority (someone mentioned about this case in Xposed for Lollipop thread).
The issue isn't with Sygics but the cause is Xposed on Lollipop.
Response from Sygic Tech:
Xposed framework is a heavy modification for the Android operating system. It can cause compatibility issues with many apps. Especially on lollipop, since Xposed for lollipop is only in development.

Not a Sygic issue but a Xposed issue.

I've installed KofilaKernel on my phone, but I'd like to get rid of it completely and go back to stock. The reason is because I haven't noticed anything different in terms of battery or anything like that. I've installed a few kernel tweaking apps but still haven't seen a change. How can I make it so it was as if the kernel was never there?
Also, second question; I'm new to the whole rooting experience, and have downloaded a number of root apps, some of which I'm not sure I actually need. I'll make a list of them, and could you please tell me if I have any taht do the same thing so that I can uninstall the duplicates? Thanks.

pity that there is no free way to unlock bootloader on non-dev ultras
When I install the nightlies it just gets stuck on the bootlogo. I'm using the latest TWRP and am on Droid Maxx 4.4.4 23.3.23 obake.

Well I installed cm11 for msm8960dt then installed cm12 obake and it worked. The only issue is it will boot up then after 10 seconds it will soft reboot. I've tried wiping cache, data and system. Any solutions?
in the thread for cm 11 they mentioned that flashing the lp gapps fixes reboots. i would assume you have tried that

You need the the correct recovery see the main thread for instructions and the recovery the nightlies run perfect no issues at all

SunShine does not work for me either
The recovery isn't my issue. I must have missed the part about installing gapps. I installed the latest version of gapps for CM12 and android 5. Now CM12 boots up with no issues. However when one issue goes away another always follows. I can't seem to get Google play working. Gmail logs in fine and my Google account works but Google play keeps givibg me a no connection error. I'm logged in on Google play it just won't connect. I have tried modifying the host file without success. As far as modifying the host file any other solutions offered are just uninstalling the app, reinstall, clear cache, etc and I'm sure that won't work for me. Maybe its an issue in CM12 itself but others have reported working Google play so what could I be missing?

i triedtaking some screenshots, and there was that registration thing you were talking about, the MI logo is somehow covering up the whole screen. in one of the screenshots that i tried taking, even the keyboard was up, and random touches on the screen had made some inputs.
maybe you should try messing with the bootanimation(i think so.).
ill try flashing another bootanimation and tell if it helps.

like i wrote before, there was a problem in the bootanimation file.
i extracted the zip file on my pc, switched the bootanimation.zip file with one from your hny rom, re-compressed everything and flashed it(twrp recovery).
usingmiui right now.
however there are a few problems, the status bar shows the signal strenght for 1 sim only. the dialer is same old kitkat style.
will tell you about bugs if i encounter any.

unable to downloading anything from play store.
no preinstalled browser, and couldnt download from play store.

Working Fine But Battery Backup Problem Seen
Flashed the Rom yesterday after deleting the bootanimation.zip from system/media folder. successfully booted and working very fine. Everything working fine. Problem seems with battery backup. more than 3% of battery consumes per hour in ideal stage without doing anything. Needs to be do some improvement regarding this. Also, I have a question about "prevent pocket dial" feature. whether it will work for this device ? Rest thing will be submitted after some time.

Regarding battery backup, its a good rom till today. Antena for Second sim card not shown on statusbar. Slow transaction. Multitasking creates hanging problem. UI to be updated to MIUI 6. I tries to install MIUI 6 light.apk but failed.

Very nice rom, its been a week now that I am using this rom. Is there any way to remove the google+ and some other apps included in this ram. I tried root uninstaller apps, but no success.

Installed v9.6.2 performance is good but i faced one problem, got a message notification when i tried to unlock phone to see it the phone became unresponsive. When i restarted my phone the message notification and message was gone and phone booted in default theme and the installed theme got deleted!
