Hi. Can anyone help me.!! I have android 4.4.4 and i want to enable screen mirroring. I dont have this icon in my display settings!! Where can i get it.. And how? I have a smart tv with dlna but none off apps gives me screen mirroring.. Only picture and video streaming. Help please!! Thanks!!

I really want to update to the newest Android release, but I lose the main function of the tablet for me, and that is to have the screen go dark and the video/movie full screen on the TV via HDMI. i.e. so the screen on the tablet isn't mirrored on the tv.
My tf300 is unlocked and I just downgraded yet again to 4.1.1 so I can have this.
Anyone know a way round this? or an app that/custom rom that will give me this functionality on 4.2 please?

Recently I cannot pair my YouTube in Android into my tv. My TV is Panasonic, and basically this TV is only able to connect to Internet, and browse. However, it doesn't have the luxury to have YouTube application.
I used to pair it by browsing to www.youtube.com/tv#/browse, and it will go to setting, and pairing setting.
I will be able to generate pairing code, and my Android - Note 3 can pair to TV. Hence, I can launch YouTube video from my Android.
Recently for some reason, it is no longer able to do it. If in TV, I browse to www.youtube.com/tv#/browse, it won't go to pairing YouTube setting, and it will only go to red blank screen with YouTube logo.
The question is whether you have the same experience like me, and encounter the same issue or not? If yes, what did you do to resolve the issue so that you can pair your TV with Android?

I attached the screen that I got in the TV, and it doesn't change to the setting like it used to be.

Hi,
I have a note 3 N9005 LTE global version. I recent bought sony W800B LED TV. Whenever I try to connect to my TV via screen mirroring on my note 3 it says "failed to connect via screen mirroring". I tried downloading the patch play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.screenmirroringpatch&hl=en but when I open the app it says no patch needed.
My android version is 4.4.2
I am able to pair my you tube app with you tube app on TV and mirroring works fine there.
Any suggestions on how I could get it working.

Thanks for replying. I have seen the thread you mentioned but it is for screen mirroring with all cast hub. I dont have the all cast hub. My TV itself supports screen mirroring.

Hi guys I have an ATV120 Mygica or Enjoy TV i think they are the same. It is running with Android 4.1 and there is this perfect App with streaming tv channels live, I have used on other ATV310B and ATV510B, but somehow on this one it is not working. I get the sound but no video support. I just get on the screen unsupported video. Is there anything I can do to it ?
