Hi Guys,
So i have unlocked my T-Mobile Sensation 4G and im on WIND mobile network. I have set up the APN and data works properly. But i had no success in getting the MMS to work
I have tried several different setting for MMS APN but with no luck! it fails everytime (both receiving and sending).
Has anyone managed to get MMS working on WIND? do i need to replace a specific file to get it working?

So i upgraded my sensation using the leaked RUU. But i am still not able to send/receive MMS! it gives me an error when i want to download the MMS!
Can anyone who is on Wind please share his experience with MMS and also his APN settings?!!

I have tried other apps like Textra, etc, but none of them can handle MMS properly. If I am on WiFi, MMS will never download or send. If I turn off WiFi, I have about a 50% success rate and they usually end up coming in hours later. I have tried different ROMs, different APN settings, different apps. It is a shame that T-Mobile sells this phone with pathetic MMS capabilities on their network. I understand it works fine with other networks, but T-Mobile is atrocious.
So, is there anyone out there using this phone T-Mobile who doesn't want to throw their phone in the ocean when dealing with MMS? I'd be interested to know your setup.

not a single issue with sms or mms here, on tmobile in nyc. do you have the correct apn? or do you have it entered correctly? im using the fast.tmobile.com apn.
Same here no problems with native messaging app and textra
No problem with stock AOSP MMS or Hangouts or 8SMS. I did have trouble with another third party client but I don't remember what it was, think maybe Textra the same one you used.
No problems with MMS although I will admit I had some problems with MMS but that was the app's fault. I had to manually put the MMS because the auto detection wasn't working just yet. I'm using chompSMS. Textra SMS worked fine as well.
Ensure you have the right APN. Also the T-Mobile APN is fast.t-mobile.com the - matters.
No issues with Purity rom and MMS...
Go to Settings>Wireless&Networks>More>Mobile Network>Access Point Names and select T-Mobile. If there isn't one then add one with the name T-Mobile and the address as fast.t-mobile.com should fix your MMS issues

Which APN?
Are you on Android L? Sounds like the same issues I had. I tried all the APN tricks and it still wouldn't work. I would get them occasionally when off Wifi. On stock 4.4.4 I don't normally have issues with MMS.
Hi guys!
I just rooted my G2X and installed 2.6.32.55-cyanogenmod kernel and Eagles Bllod GB 2.3.7 version. everything works just fine, execpt my 4G connection (data) and MMS. I`m jusing this phone in Norway and I have configured the APN for my carrier. Still it wont connect to the internet nor sending/recieving MMS.
Any suggestions to fix this?

After upgrading to CM12S, I cannot send/receive MMS using Hangouts on T-Mo when on Wifi. I know T-Mo doesn't allow it and my APN is all correct.
Last week on CM11S, Hangouts or CM was smart enough to know not to use Wifi when MMS was used. Now I have to manually turn off Wifi to get MMS to work. I'm not using profiles. My home Wifi auto-connects when in range.
I've looked all over setting in CM and Hangouts but cannot find anything to tell MMS not to use Wifi. Anyone know how to make my smartphone smart again?
I reset Google Play Services and problem resolved.
Does anyone have a problem sending mms messages with a VPN on?
I have seen some old posts, but no clear answers.
This problem occurs with the native app or textra. I tried manually putting in settings and changing port to 8080 with no success.
I tried VPN accounts, one with PIA and one with VPN secure.
Error messages says it cannot connect to data.
Any auggestions. Started after the recent nouget upgrade

i had the same problem and got the solution. maybe it will help someone one day.
i use Textra app as my default SMS app. Go to the Textra settings...MMS...then change MMS behavior from Legacy to System. Your MMS should work with VPN.
