Sorry but I have never used reactivation lock not sure how it works.
Maybe there is only one way to find out.
Go and read on PingPong root thread. There is a guide how to fix bootloop at 1st page.
Thank you

I have Samsung Galaxy S III Verizon.
Rooted with Kingo ROOT.
I was trying to install a custom ROM so I had to download ROM Manager to install Clockworkmod Recovery and installed CWM.
After doing so, however, whenever I try to go into recovery mode, a screen with SECURE FAIL: KERNAL, a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark, and the message "System software not authorized by Verizon Wireless has been found on your phone. Please turn off your phone and go to the nearest Verizon Wireless store for help" comes up.
Then the the only way to access the device is to go to download mode and then cancel it because if I try to turn the device on the normal way, it keeps on going to recovery mode and the fail message.
I installed an app that checks whether or not CWM is installed or not. It says it's not installed. So, I tried manually installing CWM using a computer, but when I type in "fastboot devices", nothing shows up. I tried everything including pdanet and other stuff but none work.
I can't even factory reset or anything.
Don't know what to do.
I just want to install a custom ROM.
Please help. I have been stuck on this problem for days.

More than likely your on 4.4.2 NE1 firmware. You can't downgrade or install a custom recovery
Your options for recovery are limited to safestrap and bootloader locked roms only

You'll have to flash the rom itself back to stock which should in turn restore stock recovery

Hi, it's been a couple years so I have no clue but here's an article I found by Googling.
https://www.technewscentral.com/enter-recovery-mode-odin-modedownload-mode-galaxy-s3/id_7924
Best of luck to you!
So I flashed a rom on the s6, it ended up being the wrong model number, I went to recovery, factory reset, then the os system was deleted. I've been trying for 8 hours looking everywhere with no help.
I used odin with no success.
I can't boot into recovery because it boot loops on the cf auto root.
I have downloaded the stock rom, pit file, etc and anything won't work when I use Odin.
On smart switch, my device isn't supported.
Can any of you guys help me? I'm new here..
Never use auto root, always use twrp and install supersu through that

No that is not a way to fix it. You have a galaxy s6 but what model number you get? G920F/I/....etc. You should find it in settings and about device. You didn't hard brick your phone you soft bricked your phone. Can you get into recovery/download mode?

I'd try to flash the TWRP file thru Odin, for you don't need to boot into the recovery, you need download mode-
can you achieve that (vol down+home+power)?
If so, just flash TWRP, do a full swipe, install the right ROM and you're good.
Nice

You flahsed a rom, then delete it, then CF autoroot? WHAT?
Well, lesson learned the hard way. Read before you do something "dangerous".
Hallo. Try to get in to download mode.
Ignore the message your phone not supported.
Use kies 3 go to tab emergency.
Select firmware upgrade initialization .
Fill in your type number like SM-G920F and enter your serie number of the phone then it will download and restore your phone for you.. be patient cause it could take 30 mins easily . Good luck.

What if the phone don't go in download mode??
Tried to root my Note 5 using Zedomax's method for 6.0.1 and I think something went wrong. My phone ran through the Odin flashing process and passed, but on reboot I was left with red letter saying "recovery is seandroid enforcing" or something to that effect along with a boot loop. I was unable to boot into TWRP. I can still get the phone in download mode, but it seems like every firmware/recovery I try to flash leaves me in the same predicament or it freezes odin before I can flash it. My note 5 is a 920p Sprint model and on 6.0.1. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Uncheck auto reboot in Odin and Odin twrp.
Reboot straight from download mode into twrp and flash either smoar rom or the deodexed rom by tdunham. Did you make sure you oem lock is off ?

Download one of these for your phone. .
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-N920P/
Make sure you uncheck auto reboot in Odin and as soon as it's done and says success disconnect the phone and immediately press and hold the volume down button and the power button at the same time and when the screen comes back up you HAVE to select factory reset wipe if you don't you'll be stuck again just let the little android dude install the update and then the phone will reboot and you'll be ok.
Unzip the md5 you get from the sammobile site and flash only the .tar
This is what he told me that got my phone up and working again. Be warned it is the nuclear option. All of your data will be lost upon recovery good luck.
I hate bringing old posts back to life....But I'm stuck in a series of boot loops that I can't get out of.
I was rooted on MM, decided to go back to stock for a Gallery error I was having.
Downloaded the PD2 from Sammobile, Odin'd it, appears successful.
Reboot
I get to the stock ROM setup screens and the boot loop occurs. I can't complete setup.
I've tried unticking the reboot in Odin and going directly into system recovery...then I do a Factory reset which appears successful.\\Reboot phone, back into the stock ROM Welcome screen....start the setup, and usually after adding WiFi or during Activation reboot.
Any help??

It's extremely common and has one simple solution. Let the battery completely die and then charge it up a little and you won't loop anymore
Thanks for the reply. Earlier today I visited my local Sprint store and gave them a crack at it. After about 30 minutes in the store, the tech suggested I leave with it them and they were going to completely wipe it and load the stock image.
After about an hour I went back to the store and he gave me the bad news that he was unable to get it out of the boot loop as well. They've ordered me a new device.
I really trust what you say about letting the phone battery die...but I fear that would fix it and I'd be out a new replacement device.

Dude!! It worked. I put the phone in download mode and just let it sit until it died.
Booted it back up and it went straight into hands free activation. And no reboots.
Why does this work?
Hello guys. I need your help badly.
I am using Galaxy Grand Prime smg530h
The problem is when I push the power button, my phone automatically boots to recovery mode which is Twrp, yeah I was my only problem last time. I guess I wipe something using twrp, my phone says "NO OS INSTALLED" . Then I googled some ways to fix so I installed a custom rom using twrp. I though my problem was solved but still when I turn on my phone it automatically boots recovery. I googled again and did something. But a big problem shows up, When I turn on my phone, it boots automatically to twrp but after the samsung logo flashes, black screen appears. Its just blank but the my phone black light is on and I think im on twrp since everytime I touch the screen it vibrates.
Please help me

Have you tried to re-install everything including your recovery? Perhaps even your bootloader or try to flash your ROM manually from fastboot or adb.

There is already a guide available for how to flash stock rom, which you can check out here. You can get the stock rom from sammobile, the official samsung firmware resource which you can check out here.
Good luck!
Edit: You can then try to reflash twrp and if it doesn't work, post about it in the twrp thread for your device.

Samsung doesn't use fastboot, they use download mode and flash with Odin. Be familiar with these kinds of specifics about a device if you're going to give advice, otherwise you might tell someone something very wrong unintentionally.

CWM is a dead project, it is no longer supported, that is why you are only finding TWRP. If you want custom recovery, use TWRP, it is a much better recovery than CWM anyway.

No. Nothing. Maybe sometimes I can get into fastboot or recovery (but it comes up with a green screen saying An error has occurred while updating the device software) I've really messed my phone up XD. Is there anything else I can do? It doesn't seem I can boot to anything now (not even fastboot).
