Hi
I recently discovered those pink dots on the front camera when taking pictures in low light.
Is there a fix for this or do I need to get a replacement?

So they can't actually deny you warranty unless they can prove that rooting the phone caused the problem.

Thank you! Do you think they replace the phone or repair it?
I will do a twrp backup and flash back to stuck.
If they replace the phone, will I be able to flash recovery from this phone?
Thanks in advance
Repair, they might even try to charge you but you have to be firm and point them to your rights

Well never tried, that they wanted charge.
Damn it, rather wanted a replacement as I then would be able to exchange it for the edge. U should if course pay the rest of the price.
I had the same problem. I had to send it back to Samsung. It was repaired under warranty.
Same problem here. Will being sending back also

I just woke up and my screen started shacking , everything is moving up and down randomly by 0.3 mm ( like in movies when a computer gets attacked by an alien virus )
It seems it happens more often when I touch the screen , but its also shacking on its own just les often.
I have 32 GB Nexus 5 everything is stock
Seems like a hardware failure(screen) to me... Try rebooting?? Post a pic if you can...

You can add dots/spaces between the url of the image to post!
something like : h t tp s: // www example. com/nexus5 .jpg
Rippling/shaking effect on screen means a hardware failure... However, just to be sure, we would like to look at it...
Last resort might be to factory reset it.. but I doubt if it's going to help.

This happens only in Google Now or everywhere? If yes, then it looks like a screen failure. RMA it asap.
However, I would suggest a factory reset first and see to confirm it.

Since your fully stock, there's no question of uninstalling Xposed framework or anything of that sort.
Backup your data and factory reset it. If that doesn't help, then it's obviously a hardware fault and the only thing you can do is send it to Google/LG! Good luck :good:

Yes, I'm under warranty but I've bought the phone from China and I'm from Italy, only the ship cost will be more than the repair.
There's no place to repair a china phone here, nobody even known the phone
But it's a problem that has a lot of OPO and the manufacturer said that, they're good enough and, even N% has yellow screens...
But I'm really not happy with this phone, not only for the yellow line.
There is no way to fix it, with usage and time it gets slightly better. 99% of phones have this, so you should not have bought the phone, if you think this is a deal breaker.

I didn't know that this kind of phone has this kind of screen. Obviously I never bought a phone with this defect.
I really never bought a phone even if I had known the state of Cyano 11s.
But it'd definitely my fault.
Thanks for the answers.
There's an entire thread dedicated to this. Try using a UV lamp (found at a nail salon) for ten minutes with the device turned off.

I bricked my phone and have no IMEI and is unbootable so now I have to replace my motherboard. Will it restore my IMEI and S/N after replacing and how will it affect the water resistance. The Official Samsung Service Center is doing it for me.

Of course, the storage is part of the motherboard
you are wrong about new imei new motherboard thing, i am actually working one of the authorized samsung repair warranty,we can put back the same imei from your old phone and we can maintain the water resistance of the phone, we are doing water resistant test after replacing the motherboard and writing the old imei from the old motherboard...

Well, then you have these options
- Fix it yourself (Oh boy)
- Pay for an repair service ( On hard bricked devices the mainboard is broken)
I would say fixing it yourself costs arround 75€. Let someone else fix it maybe 100€, so think about it... Im sorry for you. I bricked my phone last week too.

Hey all,
I'm having a few issues with my multitouch. Firstly using a multitouch app it picks up all of the fingers a different inputs but they flicker unless you're moving your hand around, so it's impossible to use it for games and such. I'm fairly certain that this is a hardware issue. Although it doesn't seem like it's completely broken as I can still register multiple touches, its just impossible to have continuous multiple touches. Any idea on how to fix this?

It should still be under warranty if you haven't rooted it. So I guess you should take advantage of it.
Sounds like the calibration for the active digitizer for your device needs to be recalibrated.

Most probably it's a hardware problem.
Could it be that it's a lose connection? Or do you think the whole screen and digitizer assembly will require replacing.

Enter *#*#2664#*#* into the dialer to run the Touchscreen diagnostic test to see if your device's active digitizer is really to blame. I don't know the code that will recalibrate the active digitizer of your device. You would probably have to send your device to Honor to get it recalibrated.
