What Is Omni Rom Project​
The goal of Omni is to experiment with Android development because we enjoy it. Omni isn’t better, just different. It’s another option for the billion Android users out there. Android (vs. iOS and every other mobile OS) has thrived on options as well as the gigantic, talented development community that has emerged to build those options. That’s the beauty of Android – that you can pick and choose from a smorgasbord of devices with varying features and functionality.
Omni is a chance to get involved, no matter who you are. Developers, whether you’ve been developing apps for a week, or ROM features for 3 years, you’re welcome. Users, we know you want to help out, and now you can – Omni actively encourages bug reports and feature requests, which can be added to our publicly accessible roadmap. What’s the point in giving you a ROM, and forcing you to not tell us about any bugs you find?
We also recognise how people use Custom ROMs – we’re all custom ROM users and developers ourselves – the argument that “nightlies are not for end users” is over-used, and no longer valid. We’ve found that the vast majority of users want to get nightly updates to their ROM. For that reason, nightlies aren’t a playground – nightlies are for new features that are finished. You should be able to expect the same stability and reliability from a nightly as you would from a “release” ROM, and can report any bugs that prevent this from happening.
We know not everyone wants to update their ROM daily, and you are free to update as frequently or infrequently as you like. Omni is about flexibility and giving users what they expect – and we are excited to see where the community goes with it.

I think you will never going to find source codes.I also do not have them.We have currently kernel source codes only which is also not
authentic,they are from other Mediatek devices.None of them are full.If you wanna check then follow this link-HERE

Yes those kernel sources from fly are full but here we were talking about full source code.That is framework,ril etc.

We cannot get full source code until MediaTek will open source them. However, I heard that they are under extreme pressure from the android community to make the sources open.

Edit: On boot had constant "Google Play has stopped" error - flashed a different 5.0 GAPPS and the error is gone. Also flashed SuperSU for root access.
Now working great! Fast response and no screen freezes so far. Audio working.
Turned on advanced reboot in Dev Optns.
Flasher and Tasker in Device Control look nice, I'll play around with those today.

I really don't know why screenshot aren't in the "Screenshots" tab.
I've just added 'em via links.
Added MoKee features too.
Every rom I do release, has to pass stability plus acceptable battery criteria.
So if it's here, means that's good to go.

There are two builds daily, one for oreo and one for pie. No idea about stability, gonna try it this weekend but I'm sure it is stable enough (after all it is coming from Dian who is our LOS official maintainer since beginning)

Well, kernel and device tree is more or less same for all the roms of our device. Only initial bringup of the rom takes effort. He is also official maintainer for xiaomi note3 for both of these roms.

Ok, so I just flashed this rom and as of now it just seems to be copy of LOS. No mokee features or customisations are available yet. I only noticed different sound pack being used for ringtones and alarms. And unlike LOS, internet traffic indicators are working fine.

Pls add gaming mode ?

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Play Store is not meant to work on this ROM, it's a microG ROM without the need for any Google apps.
Install this ROM instead when you want use Google/Play Store...
When you don't want use Google, use the installed Aurora Store and F-Droid to install apps...
