Hello, and welcome to XDA! You could try going into recovery, wiping and flashing a custom rom to solve your problem. You will find lots of roms here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4. Look for the Android Development/Original Development sections for your specific device. Alternatively, you could post your question in the S4 help forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/help You will need to register to do that.
Good luck!

Hallo people. I’m at first time here. I’m from Germany and I’m sorry directly for my bad English.
I have a trouble with my Samsung Galaxy S Plus and I hope anybody can help me.
I have installed the FeaMod Recovery on my SGS+. After them my SGS+ started everytime in FeaMod Recovery. OK, famous problem, but I can’t get started my Phone in Download Mode to! I fixed this problem with the JIG like this one:
forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S_Plus/GT-I9001#Soft-Bricked
I flashed an Stock ROM completly new. Now i get started my device normaly with Stock ROM and Stock Recovery but I still can't get my device put into the Download Mode (with the 3 button way).
If I try this, I get the Samsung lable on my screen, than two or three glowing pixels in the left top corner for a second. Then come blackscreen (i think i get my phone shortly off) and then comes the Samsung logo again. And this loops.
Here is a short video to anderstend better what I mean:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8253771/SGSPlus.wmv
Is enybody knows here, what does this pixels mean? And how can i fixed this, to put my device into the Download Mode with a three buttons way, again?
Nobody knows this problem?
Perhaps if you posted in your phones Q&A forum you might get a better answer. This is the XDA General discussion forum.
In fact here is a thread in your phones Q&A forum: Ask me anything, i've got the answer. Post it there and someone will try to help you with more device specific assistance.
?
Have you tried Volume Up + Volume Down + Home + Power ?
Guys i have Micromax A177. Today installed Philz Recovery by a fellow xda member. It went fine. I took a nandroid backup through the recovery. Then tried installing a modded stock rom but unfortunately it took almost a hour but still didn't finish the first boot so I pulled the battery. Tried accessing the recovery with volume + and power button. But till I keep pressing these buttons i can see the bootloop but as soon as I leave them the screen is just stuck in the boat screen not even a proper loop here. Not able to access the recovery and phone doesn't boot up properly. So how do I get the phone back up alive? Any help would be good..

I tried factory reset and still got the same problem. service center told me that i have to pay 210 euros and that the root caused the problem..
Hi, i have a rooted SPH-M840 (Galaxy Prevail 2) and when my phone boots up it displays the message "shell has been granted Superuser permissions" and everything freezes (time doesnt change, superuser notification stays on screen) except the blinking cursor in the password box. also the low storage icon appears in the notification bar. while its in this state, the hardware buttons do not work and once you either press somewhere on the screen or press the volume button the cursor stops blinking and freezes completely. i can still soft reboot with the power button after its frozen but that's all i can do. i have tried two solutions which have failed to work but i need suggestions as to what i should do. i have tried hard rebooting but when it gets to the second boot logo and the message "boot to recovery mode by key" displays, it never goes to the recovery mode menu and shuts itself off. another method i have tried is going into my phones files by connecting it to my computer and either disabling superuser or deleting some files if storage was the issue, but when i connect it to my computer i cannot access the files because it says i need to troubleshoot my device. when i troubleshoot it says i need to install a driver fro my phone, when i accept the download, the download fails and there are no further options. I should mention this has happened before but the first time it only acted like this for 3 days and returned to its normal functioning state by itself but this time it has been 6 days and im looking for a solution. any help?
Hello, and welcome to XDA Assist! It seems to me that the best solution would be to reflash stock firmware and start afresh. But you might want to post your question first to this thread: [HELP THREAD] Ask ANY Question. Noob Friendly. You will need to register in order to post.
Good luck!

Hi, there is not much information about this on XDA but you may find details on the Samsung website. You may also wish to read through this thread for more ideas: Samsung Galaxy Prevail Rom Development.

Hi,
The problem I have is really very common to most Samsung Galaxy users, but I haven't found any solution to my particular problem. Well, basically my Samsung Galaxy won't get out of bootloop. It just won't go beyond Samsung Galaxy SIV I9500 screen. The phone never did this before this. The phone did, however, rebooted occasionally by itself when running normally.
My phone is rooted, but it runs the official version of Lollipop for Galaxy S4. I had to factory reset my phone one day, and I decided it to reset from the Recovery Mode. After successfully resetting the phone, it booted as usual. Soon after it suddenly turned off, and went into this complete bootloop and would not stop until I remove the battery. Whenever I insert the battery back in, the phone starts by itself, without me pressing any button, and goes in the bootloop again. I can only enter the Download Mode that too for a couple of seconds. When entering the download mode I don't have to press the power button.
Is there any solution to this? I am assuming that my power button suddenly failed. The power button is definitely not stuck. I have opened the entire phone and cleaned the motherboard, and rechecked, it still showed the same problem.
Really appreciate any kind of help.

Really appreciate the prompt reply. My bad, sorry. Not quite familiar with XDA Forums. I have posted a similar question there. We should end this thread.
