Hi,
I really need some help. I had a stock 5.0.2 Lollipop and an unlocked device when I decided to flash CM 12.1. I get into the bootloader and tried to flash the recovery image but it always get the error "Mismatch partition size" witch I ignored because of the posts and suggestion here. But when I selected recovery from the bootloader it didn't load. At first it just restarted normally. I've tried every single possible custom recovery but none worked. Now I've tried something different. fastboot boot recovery.img to try to flash the rom. But it just appear a battery with a question mark on it. The only thing I can flash is a stock rom 4.4.3 that doesn't have any service at all.
Thanks for your help :fingers-crossed:
I think you get that error because your recovery is outdated (use latest twrp from here), try to flash by using "fastboot flash recovery yourfilename.img"
try that and see if you still had any problems

weird, if you cant get into recovery that means there isnt any recovery in first place but when you flashed twrp from bootloader, it should be there or the twrp didnt really flashed..

Exactly, it is like the bootloader doesn't let me to flash it. If I try to flash a stock recovery it lets me to do that, but not any other.

I dont see any problem here, it is flashed successfully and the mismatched partition is nothing serious, what you do after this?
perhaps after trying to go recovery, you should wait a little waiting for the twrp to load, let phone may sleep for a while

Hello,
I'm trying to install 4.4.2 Rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2607249 by arrrghhh.

Also the green android with the open belly appears and I stopped it by holding powerbutton, and now it says Fastboot reason: Flash failure in the screen.
I tried installing goomanager and install twrp from there, but it didn't seem to work.
Please advice how to get the twrp to install correctly so I can flash the rom.
Thanks,

Why are you trying to install TWRP for the hammerhead (Nexus5)[email protected]??
That could cause SERIOUS damage. Please install a recovery for your device.
If you want to use GooManager, you need to be rooted. Regardless, you need to have your bootloader unlocked to install any custom recovery.
didn't find one
Wow,
I must have miss downloaded it, browsing threads...
Can you give a link to one that is for photon Q ?
The bootloader is unlocked, but I couldn't install superSU yet.
To be honest I'm kinda lost reading all those different threads.
At the same time I want to try your 4.4.2 )

What's your issue?
The thread you are jacking, the OP originally tried flashing a recovery for the hammerhead (n5).
Is that your problem to? If so, just use a recovery posted in the Photon Q section. It'll work much better.

I'd try to install an unsecured kernel + ROM like Jmz's and try flashing a new recovery after that.

You mean a error while flashing recovery?
Just after flashing, long press volume down plus power button to restart & get into recovery.
In case problem persists, memory could be corrupted.
You might need to start afresh installing cm13 snapshot. That'll wipe your phone internal memory as well.

I keep trying to flash t.w.r.p via adb but it keeps failing. I try orange and Peter but they don't work and make me get stuck in bootloop. Official 3.3.1 recovery flashes but then when I boot to recovery it only shows the teamwin logo and I have no options to do anything, then on reboot when I trying booting into recovery again it boots into stock recovery like I never even flashed it.
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong or tell me correct recovery to flash with this rom? It should be straight forward process to flash t.w.r.p, but I am having trouble for some reason. Thank you.

But idk why don't you try reinstalling MIUI(Flashboot it through MiFlash) and then try again?
