I'am trying to disable the hot spot notification because really there is no use to it , i know its on 24/7 because i live off my data
i have prepaired some logcats and one screenshot , im running Android 5.0 on ARM v7 Samsung Galaxy s5 , just in-case i also made logcat put all my info in the txt file

Im a newb here and i just installed this rom on my s3,i found uncomfortable thing on this rom, can anyone help / guide me around it?
1.hand gesture
Ori s3 have hand gesture to capture screen and so on, but i cant find those in this rom
2. Sim
I cant seem to find an icon to manage my sim contact
3.lock screen
Ori s3 able to customize lock screen example: write text on lock screen but after i installed this rom i can only add widgets
4.size
Everything on archidroid seem smaller, anyway to adjust bigger?
5.camera
Sometimes camera said the camera is no connected for some reason and i have to reboot in order to let it return to normal
6.profile
I dono what is it, what is default,automobile,night... Etc? Can anyone guide me ?

I see we've been having these S6 app ROMs for devices like Note 3 and such, but there isn't the new S Voice app which looks pretty neat that the versions we currently have on our current official firmwares. Is it possible to get the app running by the normal paste to system and change perms method or it has to be ported over ? I can't download the System dump because my internet is horrendously slow If anyone has the apk, please share

Kitkat 1.1gb used 1.34gb
And no major lollipop battery drain
But system ui lag with build prop tricks too
Indian firmware has just ca,e oit i will check that one
The Odex files are located in data/dalvik-cache/arm
Nope in s4 they are present in apk folders like
System/app/camera2mass/arm/odex

Take some time to look at your tablet. I would post a screen capture but it is giving me some grief at the moment.. Ill post one as soon as I can..

I have limited to no experience and have only rooted and installed 2 devices with a custom ROM
about 4 years ago Galaxy S3 with kitkat lite and a nexus 7 2012 tablet.
My old phone recently died (Sony Z1 C ) and I bought the S5 Neo a few months ago and am not happy this phone is extremely resource hungry while on idle 80% of my RAM is used up and it keeps freezing. I have looked on Cyanogen and XDA and am not able to find a custom ROM. I have found a OEM MarshMellow ROM on Sammobile but the Base band version dosnt match up not sure if it would make a difference.
As seen as I cannot find another ROM to install I thought I would be able to edit my current ROM to make APPS like Facebook and Whatsapp stop running in RAM while not in use freeing up resources. (I dont need notifications from Facebook or Messenger if the app isnt open)
Is this possible ?
I have downloaded Android kitchen and Android studio as well as Cygwin but am having a bit of trouble getting Cygwin to run keep getting an error. I have also downloaded all the necessary java files and extra Cygwin files straight from their web site.
Please let me know if I am looking at this from the wrong angle, or point me in the right direction

I wanna try reviving the (made obsolete by Samsung) MyKnox App and for that i need a little help. I observed something after the Oreo upgrade of my S8 and i wanna analyze that to see if i can do something to simulate the MyKnox activation without the Samsung servers.
For that i need someone who still has a working installation of MyKnox on Android 6.0, 7.0 and 7.1 who can give me a backup of the apps (Apps only, not the data). If you need help on how to do that please contact me, or write in this thread. I hope i can find someone who still has them.
