[Q] Aux Jack No Audio (after 1st song) - Verizon HTC One (M8)

Greetings,
I just got a new M8 last week and really digging it, however having a strange issue with audio out of the jack. I try and play music with Google Play Music and the first song I choose will play but the next one the audio is gone (even though the progress on the song continues). This occurs with music I download with Google Play music or stream.
I also use PowerAmp as a music player for some Apple Lossless files and I have and no problems there, so I don't think it's hardware.
Since I got the new M8, I unlocked with s-off using Sunshine and the flashed then latest Lollipop RUU.exe.
Any clues as to possible causes?
Thanks,
Jen

BlueTooth controls in Music works in 2.1 ROMs

hi all...
i dont know if this was posted before...But I know there were many others like me that was looking for a way to fix this.
I am running DC 2.07.2 ROM...with Plantronics Stereo bluetooth headset:
I am running Meridian Player, and I can control the play back with the controls on my bluetooth headset.
Next song
previous song
pause
play
This might work on other music apps too!!
It does not work (bluetooth controls) with internet based music apps like: Pandora and TuneWiki.
before it would only control the HTC Music player. If I tried before while listening to music in any music player; it would start another playback in the HTC music app. I would be hearing 2 songs at one time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is great!!!
THanks to Damageless and his devs!!!
I am running Fresh 2.0d and I use Mixzing Lite connected by bluetooth to a JVC BT-1 headunit. In the past I would have the same problem where using the bluetooth controls would start a new instance of TC music and I would have two songs playing at once.
With Fresh 2.0d the bluetooth controls work with Mixzing with one catch. when I press skip it will skip two tracks. I'll here 1 second of the first track adn then the second will play all the way through. Now sure if it is a 2.1 issue, a JVC issue or a Mixzing issue. Not a big deal though. Just happy I can play and pause.
That's really good news for me. I had given up on ever being able to control a 3rd party music app. Thanks for posting this!

it might be the JVC Headset or Mixzing
I use Phantronics Voyager and it only skips 1 song at a time.
You should download another music app and try that. I recommend Meridian Player

[Q] Motorola S9-HD question

Hi folks,
I have an HTC Desire running InsertCoin HD/Z port 1.8h ROM at the moment. I have just bought a Motorokr S9-HD and so far it's working reasonably well.
The major bug I have with this is the music control feature. It seems to start Meridian player and control that instead of the default HTC Music player I have already running. It has a weird effect of both music players streaming two different songs at the same time! Ever heard Evanescence and Ottmar Liebert playing at the same time? Not nice!
Anyone else encountered this problem with the S9-HD or any other bluetooth headset?
Thanks,
D.
I installed the new android music played on my desire and noticed if I'm using the default player and use the controls on my pair of s9s it controls the new player.

That sounds promising - where can I find this music player, and does it have widget for the default HTC lock screen?
Thanks.
Try the PowerAmp music player app, it has a dedicated BT button management and I'm loving it with my Motorila S9.

Navigation sound issues

I've been toying with different music players, and all of them except the stock music player (as far as I know) on my Sensation 4G (the tmobile one) do not play nicely with Navigation.
When the music cuts out on the stock app, the music pauses, navigation says the direction, and music resumes normally. However, when using a non-stock music player (AFAIK) it will pause the music, faintly (almost inaudible) say what I can only assume is the direction, and then resume the music. Has anyone else experienced this issue and, more importantly, know how to fix it outside of just using the stock music player?
NOTE: I don't think it's Sensation specific, as a thunderbolt user has the same issue http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1114107.

Yes, I have the same problem in a different way. I have downloaded a "Svox" TTS & when I have the navigaton in background while the Youtube streaming on top, the navigation is almost can't be heared so I will go back to the stock TTS & see the result.
+1 copiliot/google maps with anyplayer (stock, playerpro, etc)
also had this issue on desire and SG2. Did fix it once by installing a newer CM7 and full wipe, what changed I dunno!
Help

[Q] Is there music player that remembers where I stopped last time?!!

Hi Androiders!
I am looking for a particular music player app that is able to mark the point where I stopped listening each mp3 file, so that next time I can resume my listening from that point, even if the device is restarted.
ANY IDEA?
I'm not sure but I think "Poweramp" can do that.
I think u should try Google play music.
GoneMAD does the trick. There's a free trial available and -- at least a few days ago -- there was a special offer for the full version.
A lot of music players do this. But you can try Poweramp ?

How to get Viper4Android working?

Hey guys, I recently rooted my phone and i have flashed Cm 12.1 on my device. I wanted to use Viper4Android as my EQ. For that I installed Phonograph, a material design music player. The problem I face now is that Viper settings are not being applied when the tracks are playing. Initially I thought it was the compatible issue so I changed the mode to compatible but then the music player couldn't play any song. Each time I select a track, it responds with "Couldn't play the song". Any help would be appreciated.

After some googling I finally got it to work. It was the SElinux issue. If anyone else is having the same issue refer the link: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/viper4android-for-cm11s-and-cm12-cm12s-zip-instructions.275788/
Sorry for the trouble
