Ordered one of these cases last night;

I will be posting my thoughts on it when I get it. Should be here sometime in June.
From the looks of this case, what do you guys think about it?

Looks promising, but for 50 bucks i'm going to wait until it start shipping and get more reviews or even more variations.

I understand that, I just had the extra money. It looks really cool, and I pray that it works. Only time will tell. Like I said I will be posting my own opinion here whenever I get it. Maybe even going to record a review and do it that way. We will see.
Getting the ZeroLemon battery case as well for review purposes so that review will be coming as well. Waiting to get the revised case in.
This does look promising. Let me know how this case went and how well it sticks to surfaces. The worst thing for me would be if I stuck it to something and then it fell off that object.

I will do that for sure. I will probably review it after a week or so of using it. Just to see how the suction cup style holds up.
WOW - 50 bucks - that seems excessive - it seems to work nicely - which is good - but it also looks like one of those relatively cheap cases that are made of a kind rubbery type substance - and this one has some kind of sticky quality.
Love to hear what you think when you get it - whether you feel it is worth the 50 you paid for - I also wonder how long it will take for the knock-off's to come out?
It's the same foam the airdock uses. Seems to be higher quality stuff

You get what you pay for..
I got one- it does the trick but the fit and finish are about what you'd expect for 11 bucks. It snaps together OK but there are little gaps in the corners.
Its worth getting until something better comes out. Personally I love the new Body Glove ones and hope they do a N1 version- they aren't svelte but they offer great protection with excellent grip..

As for the fit and finish... I'm still waiting on a similar item, but do you guys think that some felt or microfiber on the inside of the case will tighten things up? I may be misunderstanding the fitment issue.

From what I see neither of these ship til the last of this month...where are you getting the facts about the fitment issues. Not to be rude or anything...just wondering before waiting to order one?
Anyone gonna pre order this?
http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/csr3hnx1-bk.htm
I really want to, but thought I would ask if any one has tried their cases?
I loved that case for my G1... Just waiting for the Nexus version to be released. This little pouch that comes with it just ain't cuttin it! But I will be all over that Innocase once its released
I like their case's a lot, and plan on getting a high quality case for the N1 from them!
i might just pre order then. 30 bux is alot tho lol
Ordered it and the holster a few days ago.
gonna order the combo but worried how good tha holster holds the phone... n how thin the case will be
i just pre ordered 2. no holster
i know someone who has this case for their droid and it's really really nice...
i'm not a fan of it for the nexus though due to the fact that it looks like it's a 2 piece design that comes apart in the middle.
i'll actually wait for this one: http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/csr5hnx1-bk.htm

why is the non snap in one 10 dollars cheaper?
I want the snap too, but it seems they've removed it from the list??
http://www.seidioonline.com/category-s/4025.htm
I can still see it in the link posted above but no longer in the page with all the nexus accessories.
Even a search for snap doesn't show a nexus hit. Maybe they've scrapped it...
Had a quick online chat with customer services:
"We are still planning on making the snap but there is no eta. We are working on it, so it will come out we just are not sure on the time."
reason why they pulled the listing:
"We were unsure of the release date and did not want to confuse customers."
Doesn't sound right to me though, it said under development and there was no date mentioned or even a way of preordering (just adding to wishlist), how could that have been confusing?!

Lightforce, how much thickness does the case add on? Seidio says it's 1mm thick, or thin, but I was wondering if you could tell us how it feels versus the naked Nexus One?
doesnt add much thickness, but makes it feel heavier thats for sure.
ordered mine yesterday. Shipped today.
I had the inocase II for the original storm and it fit great. Hoping this will be the same.
Lightforce,
could you take pics from all angles and what it looks like while putting it on since you said it almost took your screen protector off.
Thanks

Nice. I might consider it but I really don't have any battery life problems, guess I don't use it enough. Looks like it would support NFC as well given you use your stock battery in it, that would be a plus for me. Unfortunately that isn't stated anywhere I looked.
Anyway thanks for the info. Will strongly consider this if I should find myself in need of a longer life. Course carrying a second battery isn't that big a deal, I do for backup. Fits nicely in my jacket pocket that fit my old feature phone... Don't even notice it.
I would get it but it doesn't come in black.
Just a warning to anybody that gets this, it does not fit with a glass screen protector on (MIME Feather Glass to be exact). Other than that, it's a very nice case.

Just got it.
Seems to work great, no loss to sound quality and have already gotten use to the slightly heavier feel. All and all, I think it works great and have seen little if any depreciation of reception. :good:
hmm...this product looks really interesting...I really hate bulky extended batteries, but this case might be a great compromise.
how much ?
The big problem is 2.4 oz. (70.5g) and *Wireless charging works only with Qi Mode. Qi receiver is optional and sold separatelya a
looks cool..but I agree, I'd need to see it in black to consider it.
Black color - $10 and I'd buy it.
hmm cheapest I've found for this case is $29.00 at http://www.nomorerack.com/daily_deals/view/678723-dyconn_x4_power_3000mah_case_for_samsung_galaxy_s4

Just got the case today and loving it. Only a few annoyances so far... it does creak a little bit on the sides and the power button is kind of hard to press.
Today the FedEx guy showed up with my Portenzo bookcase.
This is the first time I've ever ordered a case that cost me 100+ after shipping, but damn does it feel solid. The wood frame isn't too tight and putting the N9 in was easy, removing is just as easy since I have the intellistand feature which allows me to prop up the tablet with the added bonus of allowing me to push at the back of the N9 to remove it if necessary.
I got it in black (yes I'm not very creative) but to me it looks like a nice mystery book with no title. I didn't get the magnets that keep the cover closed, it was already quite expensive and I felt that I could live with a strap that kept the case closed. It feels great to hold and the sleep/wake magnet works pretty well.
Overall the case is very solid and in my opinion is a bit expensive but does offer the style and a sense of security for the N9.

Just google Portenzo and you should find it. It is expensive and I can't get myself to pay that premium.

That's the link. It's expensive but then they also have the pricier leather model. I wish I was loaded and got that. Maybe for my next tablet, for now I like the standard bookcover.

I think you have to pay $5 more for the camera hole. Keep in mind, they hand make these tablets made to order for each customer individually. It is DEFINITELY worth the price, in my opinion, it is just a matter of how long you will keep the tablet. I bought one for my wife because she will keep her Ipad until the damn thing literally falls apart. For me, I wouldn't dare spend that much money on a tablet case because I always have to upgrade.

Thanks I found out about the camera from the website, after I sent Portenzo a message.
Do you think ventilation maybe a issue with the tablet in the case?
People are complaining about heat, it looks like it may if anything add to the issue.

I dont think so but I'm sure it depends on the tablet. The nexus 9 does get hot but i dont think the portenzo will be effected more than other cases.

They do ship to Canada and provide different shipping options too.
I did pay for the camera cut out, it was 5 dollars I think. As for the heat output, the N9 has room to breathe and it doesn't seem to hinder the tablet from cooling down in anyway. I'm not sure (is wood a good insulator/conductor?), but to me it works fine.
I plan on keeping the N9 for a while since it's just the right size compared to the smaller N7 (2012 and 2013) and the Shield Tablet just wasn't to my liking. So spending this much for a sense of security is nice, plus it feels amazing.
I just ordered one, sure from what I read I will not be disappointed
Looks amazing and is my style but I'm entirely too active to have one of these.

I just took delivery of mine and it looks great! Maybe I have more money than sense, but this is my third Portenzo case, the others were for my Nexus 7s. It looks particularly good in this size and aspect ratio, and the angle on the stand is perfect. I wouldn't use anything else.

Well, I was not considering this case until reading this thread, and it seems that this would be a worthwhile investment. LinS123, wood is a great insulator- there should be NO problems with letting the tab breathe. I think that this case looks quite worth the money.
Got it
Two things I am not fond about.
1) It is thicker than I expected. Kind of a let down makes the Nexus 9 in the case at least twice as thick than a naked Nexus 9.
2) Should of not got the elastic.

Yeah, I just am not using a case, I think. Too much bulk. I have a little carrying case, but I'm not going to strap it into an overbearing piece of plastic.
I purchased an OTG cable, does not fit in the cut out.
It is shame, not going to cut down the opening and while the Nexus 9 is nice a secure do not want to pull it out of the case.
These are some great looking cases. I especially like the leather ones. I might have to pick one up! Thanks for sharing op!

I was tempted but since I already had my flygrip I decided to save the 14.99 (for a 2 pack in store)
If they had been selling 1 for $7 I probably would have bought it!
It's really the first time I've seen one of this type of product available in store vs online. It's about time!

I picked one up from Amazon while Christmas shopping. I had never heard of them before seeing this thread a few weeks ago.

No one has/had any issues with it detaching from the back of our wafflesque surface phones? I like the product and could see using it, but I'm looking for confirmation that it worked on a stock phone without a case.
Thanks in advance for replies.
I have used one on my phone without a case. It worked great. I took it off when I added a Spigen case and have been too lazy to put it back on. My wife is very small and she loves it on her Samsung S3 phone. And yes you can take them off and reuse them over and over. Nice invention.
