How to use Link2SD with SDXC 128Go - Xperia Z3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I try to use Link2SD with a SDXC 128 Go on my Xperia Z3 which have just 16 Go in internal memory
I have also bought the version Link2SD Plus.
So I have made 2 partitions on my SDXC:
THE 1st in FAT32 of 54,63Go
and
the 2nd in ext4 of 62,36Go
I have put the two partitions in primary..
In Link2SD then "info stockage"
I have:
1-SD Card of 11,57 Go (internal memory of the Z3)
2-External SD of 54,63Go (The 1st partition on SDXC in FAT32)
3-SD Card 2nd partition there is just 458Mo
I have bought a lot of games on my google account so i want to put them in the SDXC..
How can I do please?
Is there somebody like me who want to do that?

I've tried them all, and only FolderMount seems to work properly for me. Highly recommend it.

[Q]:about Galaxy Wonder having problem with Link2SD

Link2SD is the BEST app ever!!!
[Q]:about Galaxy Wonder having problem with Link2SD
Phone: Samsung Galaxy Wonder (GT-I8150)
What i already know: i know how to use Link2SD with my OLD Galaxy Mini!
1. partition SD with 2 primary parts 1 FAT32 and 2nd Ext2 for extension!
2. plug into unit and install Link2SD and it will automatically read the 1st partition as SD Card and the 2nd Partition as SD Card 2nd Part.
now i bought a new phone Samsung Galaxy Wonder WHICH HAS A BUILT IN 1.70GB USB Storage.. (THIS IS MY PROBLEM using Link2SD)
now my problem is how do i fix this...
i partitioned my 16GB SD Cards into 1st Partition 30GB(fat32) and 2nd Partition 2GB(ext2)
BUT WHEN I PLUG IT IN Galaxy Wonder and RUN LINK2SD, Link2SD Reads the 1.7GB built-in phone USB Storage as the SD Card and 2nd partition 2GB(ext2) from the actual SD Card as it should be...
instead of reading the 1st partition of the actual SD card which is 30GB AS THE SD CARD!! hayyyy help....
Reason i need to fix this..
When i install HD games into my Galaxy Wonder WHICH NEEDS a 450MB "PATCH" (Ex. GTAIII 10th Anniversary) it automatically goes into the 1st partition SD CARD... so i need Link2SD to read the 14GB from my SD Card to be the actual SD Card read instead of the Built-in 1.7GB USB Storage of the phone..
coz when i LINK programs it only transfers the apk, dex (dalvik-cache) and lib into the 2nd Partition.. but the "450MB Patch will stay on the 1st partition...
So How do i MAKE LINK2SD read my 30GB 1st partition from the SD Card "AS THE SD CARD" and not the 1.7GB built-in USB Stroage of the Phone
Thank you very much and God bless!!!
PS.
may i make an upgrade suggestion??
is it possible to make an OPTION to choose which storage will the Link2SD recognize as the 1st partition??
coz my phone has 3 types of storage...
1. 1GB internal memory
2. 1.7GB Built in USB Storage
3. 30GB 1st & 2GB 2nd partition of my 32 GB SD CARD
so my phone selects the "1.7GB Built in USB Storage" as the default SD CARD and the 2nd partiton of my SD Card as the 2nd Partition..
sir Bakpinar is it possible can we make an option that the Link2SD program ask the user which will it recognize as 1st partition?
coz if i set the Link2SD the default installation path to "External" in Galaxy Wonder, it goes into the 1.7GB Build in USB Storage and not in the 1st partition of the SD Card...
Another suggestion if it is possible sir can we not only Link the "apk, dex (dalvik-cache) and lib" files of an application but also the "PATCH" Files that are being downloaded for some HD Games or programs? Example. "GTA3 10th Anniversary"?? it would really be a complete SUPER AWSOME app of all time if there 2 suggestion would be granted ^_^

[Q] SD CARD Partion

Good morning all !!!!
I have done an ample amount of reading and I am still confused by the topic a little bit. And the post I came across were rather old. I just bought a 32G micro SD card for my galaxy s 4g running (wicked rom 9.1). This rom finally has the ability to move apps to SD. My question is, is it really necessary to partition your SD card for any reason??? What are the benefits? I still do not get he concept. I can only find the ways to do it. but not the reason.
*BUMP*
so.... I still did a bunch of reading, and did a SD card wipe attempted the 2nd partition and using link2sd and seems that the 2nd partition is not being recognized? can someone point me in the right direction?
Partitioning the SD card!
Actually, partitioning gives you the benefit of using space in your SD Card to install apps or use app data, instead of cramming it all up in the phones' internal memory. In other words, the Second Partition acts as the internal memory of the phone. So creating a 1 GB partition for a device with low internal memory allows the user to install more apps and doesn't let the internal memory decrease.
Link2SD can only accept partition with the proper scripts, i.e if the SD card has been partitioned with Ext2 then Link2SD must also be given the command for creating scripts as Ext2.
It is usually recommended to partition SD as Ext2 or Ext3 and create scripts on Link2SD as the same.
Hope it helped :good:

[Question]insert memory card above phones capacity/limit

hello, im just wondering what will happen or is it possible to install mmc above the phones capacity, my device is 5.1 lollipop 1.3ghz quadcore 3gb ram sd card expandable upto 64gb, i want to install 128gb on it, and i want to know if its ok or its going to break my phone if ever, thanks in advance
when fat32 file system was out it was capped to format only up to 32gb cards , then they came up with exfat to format cards up to 128gb , however some mobile manufacturers did a hack so that fat32 can extend to format 64gb cards , and then later on adopted exfat file system to read bigger sized cards , now you can test if your phone is able to deal with exfat formatted cards by formatting a useless one you have into it on windows then see if your phone is still able to read it , if so then your phone will support 128gb cards flawlessly , if not then you can still use a 128gb card however you will have to use link2sd re-partitioning tutorial to split the card into 2 64gb partitions where you can have the two as fat32 or one as fat32 and one as ext4 depending on your preferences , on a side notice though , only your android device will be able to access both partitions , windows card reader will be able to access only one partition of them from there on.
P.S there are few rumors as well that further hacks were made by some and not all manufacturers to fat32 file system to format 128gb partitions , so give it a go when you first have the card and attempt to format it normally by phone , if it doesn't work then link2sd partitioning tutorial is your friend.
thats what i planning to do, using link2sd and make partition on in, swap phone storage, im just not sure if its ok or if its gonna be alright, by the way thanks bro, i really need to know before i make my move, i dont want to break my phone or the mmc

SD card partition problem ... Damaged SDcard Error after device reboot

Hello everyone,
I have a SONY M4 aqua E2303 - Android 5.0 build 26.1.A.3.111
I have a 64GB Sandisk Unltra - class 10 micro SD card
I am trying to partition the SD card to extend the internal memory through Link2SD :
I tried to partition with computer and mobile apps ( Minitool partition and through apps AParted and Apps2SD )
more than one time I did partitioning
50GB fat32/ 10GB ext2
50GB fat32/ 10GB ext3
45GB fat32/ 15GB ext2
45GB fat32/ 15GB ext3
52GB fat32/ 8GB ext2
52GB fat32/ 8GB ext3
always the big part is the first partition
The partitioning succeed but each time I insert the SD in mobile, gives me Damaged SD card error and now all tries failed.
Pleeeeaaaase ... any suggestions...
Thanks a lot
Did you try deleting all partitions and starting from the beginning?
