I click on a link on the facebook app to read an article, it crashes. I refresh and within 5 seconds, it crashes again. I cannot watch videos on articles that contain them....I get a message that states "Cannot upload/play this video" and then I only get the audio and no image. This happens, even when the link is not through facebook's app, I am just browsing the web browsing app that came with my phone.
What are my options for fixing this issue?
Thanks to all who respond!

I usually dont like to ask for help, but I have exhausted my resources searching and trying things. I am trying to watch hulu.com videos on my windows mobile device. Things I have tried and failed are listed below. Any suggestions, fixes, or workarounds are greatly appreciated and will benefit the entire community not just me.
1: Using Skyfire hulu.com attempts to start the video and then comes up on the screen that hulu doesnt support anonymous proxy configurations and that you must be in the US to view etc.. I am in the US and have even tried using my PC's internet connection for the internet on my Mobile Device and it says the same thing.
2: Using Skyfire fancast.com tries to start the video but just says loading and never actually starts the video.
3: Changing the UA string to various other things.
4: Using Opera Mini, Opera Mobile, and Pocket IE. All of which do not get as far as Skyfire.
Uzard web browser nearly does it. It plays the ads on hulu, but can't load the shows in its viewer (tcpmp).
What would be awesome is a hulu downloader. Most of those are dedicated to porn, though, lol.

I've been hoping someone would find a fix for this issue for several weeks now.
Any one else having problems playing video directly from a website. I encountered this yesterday and it just wouldn't play the video. Every time i would hit play it would act like its loading but then put the cursor at the end of the video. Plus a few banners on the webpage wouldn't load and It would show that blank page with the error message saying to reload it or refresh it. Anyone know how to fix this, and yes I did reinstall the latest adobe flash player back on.

Can you give any more info? What's the website? Are you using a stock browser or another one? I spent some time streaming some html5 video through the stock browser (and the video player app that I get prompted for) without any problems but have not tried any flash content on Bean's Rom.
Hi Guys,
I purchased the Asus TF700t for my wife, which she is thrilled with, except she has discovered, that when she opens a website ie "Housewives of new Jersey" and clicks on an episode to play, the link opens with a small video window, but nothing plays.
This also occurs in the stock browser, you can surf to a web site, but if there is a video on offer to watch, when you click on the video play button, nothing happens.
I can open "You Tube" though and play any of the videos.!!!!
Is there a plug in missing from the browser, or do I need a better browser. Any ideas would be appreciated. By the way we live in Australia.
Thank You

Hello,
Thank you for your interest in Skyfire. Skyfire has not extended support for the Skyfire video functionality to ICS or Jelly Bean devices. Skyfire offers a free 3 day trial period of the Skyfire Video License Key (Found within the free Skyfire for Android app) for users to fully test the video functionality on their specific device and OS prior to purchasing. Please contact us directly at www (dot) get satisfaction.com/skyfire for further assistance.
Thank you, Skyfire Support
Never fully figured this out in the last 4 years using android devices.
Whether its clicking a YouTube link in an email, on a twitter app, or on a random site... Every device and ROM seems to bring up different options for opening. (See screen shot).
You can see that the YouTube app isn't showing. I used to click either of the browser icons, and once the site would load, a new set of icons would pop up which had the YouTube icon.
Now, when clicking a link, I can only watch it through my browser. What gives?
How can I always view YouTube links with the YouTube app?
I tried clearing cache, and dalvik-cache. I for rid of all defaults, even though there were none for my browsers or YouTube apps. Any other options? I checked out all settings in these apps and nothing.

Ik that it's possible to feed apps with fake info with Xposed but my case is a bit complex so I didn't find a good keyword to search of. Here's my case:
As probably all of you know the YT Music-App does not support bg-playback through LP/Xposed without YT Music-Subscription. It instantly detects that it's running in the browser and stops playing. Even when you run the music.youtube.com-Website in your Browser and put the browser in the bg it stops (but only after ~1 sec after putting the browser in the bg).
This implies that the browser normally wants to play the audio he receives from the page like he always does on any player on websites like YT, OpenLoad, etc. but the page itself stops sending an audio signal.
So theoretically if you would overwrite system info and always feed the browser app running music.youtube.com/ YT-Music app/ opened website inside the browser with the info that it would be running in the bg even tho it doesn't it wouldn't stop playing music right?
If that is correct, is there a Xposed-Module or anything else which is capable of doing this?
