I tried that but phone is not getting detected on sptools.
I was using a custom rom for my Micromax A120. But while changing the internal partition something happened, and my PC asked me to format my internal memory as it was showing 0 space.
But after I did that.. Everything is gone. Even in Custom Recovery mounts are not happening properly, my phone is not getting detected on sptools.
Also problem with recovery - can't mount cache/recovery is shown

Okay so I have a problem, I was on CM10 nightlies and realized I hadn't updated in awhile so I went to flash another nightly. Being the careless person I am I clicked the link and downloaded and flashed the most recent ROM uploaded without realizing it was CM9. This put me into a bootloop. I went into fastboot and did a factory restore to fix the bootloop but the restore restores me to CM9. That's not the main problem though, my internal SD card isn't recognized by the phone so I can't even flash another ROM. Please help. :3

Does recovery recognize your internal storage? Try factory reset, format system, install cm10 and gapps and try to reboot

Nope, that's the problem. I formatted everything already. Also, I don't have CM10 on my internal SD. I don't have any ROMs actually.

Have you tried going into the storage settings and make sure sdcard is mounted? And have you tried to USB Mount from recovery to your computer to verify that windows sees it and it isn't a hardware failure

That leads me to believe it may be a hardware issue. I'll see what I can find out
When you say settings app, you mean inside of recovery, right?
Can you see if you can mount the storage in adb

Oh I thought you meant the actually settings app. But mounting in recovery doesn't work either. And it shouldn't be a hardware issue, it was working just fine yesterday before I got stuck in that boot loop. And my phone isn't recognized in adb. :3 Everything is broken! Haha
So you can boot into your ROM, you can boot recovery, but you can't access storage..
What happens if you do 'adb devices'? If nothing shows up go install the aokp/cm10 drivers. It may work for cm9

Nothing shows up and those drivers aren't working. Is there anyway I can do a complete factory reset and then work my way back from there?

If you did a factory reset in hboot (as opposed to in recovery) it wipes your SDCard without formatting it. I did this once too, and if you're in the same boat, try the solution in this thread:

connect your memory card to a pc via card reader
backup all your data
right click on the partition and go to properties
search for 'check for errors' there and get it done
format the memory card using default settings
put it back into mobile
reboot in recovery
wipe data/factory reset
flash new rom
reboot !

I also had the same problem I read some where in Pico's section that all recoveries other than Yannou90's recovery gives this problem, so switched over from TWRP to Yannou90's recovery and partitioned my sd card with ext2 partition- from past 48 hours there has been no single reboots ..

I think that twrp can not read the data partition so it showed 0mb. You may have a wrong formatted or corrupted data, just guessing.... You may want to format your data in twrp to see if it works but you will loose everything on the data partition, good luck..:fingers-crossed:

Looks good so far. Now wait 1-2 hours for it to finish, because what it doesn't say is that make_ext4fs doesn't only make a filesystem, it also does a secure erase for all unused blocks, and that takes a lot of time.

What you are saying makes no sense. You can't have the stock recovery and TWRP installed at the same time. Maybe you are confusing the bootloader menu with the stock recovery, but that's something completely different.

Hi,
What is your bootloader version and twrp version?
Did you try to format your data partition in twrp yet? If you have not done that, then, boot into your twrp, under "Wipe", select "Format" and type "yes" to confirm formatting. It may take very long time to finish the format process. So you need to plug your AC in and leave it alone until IT IS COMPLETED FORMATTING...Good luck and it should work.....:fingers-crossed:

Try this. boot to twrp, go to andvance wipe, mark data and change the file system to fat. after that format to ext4. after that flash the official firmware.
I have j710F with stock android 6.0.1,I flashed latest twrp3.1.x. but when i booted into recovery I was facing the problem of 0 mb internal storage so I formatted the data and the problem was fixed but when I rebooted my phone into system and made the whole setup again. After that I again booted into recovery the problem was again the same so i again repeated the whole process and the result is same....
I wamt to flash a custom rom but couldn't due to this problem can anybody help me?
Sorry for bad english
Have you checked if the internal storage stack is active? Maybe this is the problem :/

U have to wipe the internal storage once to use internal storage is encrypted ..cwrp will solve this problem ..u have to wipe first internal storage
Recovery TWRP 3.1.1-0
Root + Xposed Installer
* J710MN *
Format Data and reboot in to recovery and see if it will work...
look ... i got the same problem as yours i got j710f and i have tried a lot of custom roms but the problem is that this model doesn't accept or have a custom rom due to it's kernel and i ended with bootloop or a broken device , because the stock kernel of the this model doesn't attache or mount with the custom recovery like twrp so you have to format data every time you use twrp or any custom recovery when you flash any zip file.
recently they developed a custom rom called Enigma V5
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j7/development/rom-enigma-n7-s8-romallooosh98-j76-t3609504
but it has a major issue for the j710f model which is the wifi and cellular data not working due to the modified kernel of the rom it self so have to reboot into recovery then format data and do a full wipe , cash , system , internal storage but not the SD card then flash the Enigma V5 rom , reboot agian to recovery , format data " dont not wipe anything " , then you have to flash the STOCK boot.img of your stock frimware to get this rom work fine .
I have installed twrp and i wiped out everything system and internal storage, and after that i tried to flash new rom and it reboots and goes blank. what to do?

Did you change the partition type? Which ROM you flashed.
To fix things, you could try to clean flash your original build's firmware through dload method (guide in shashank's signature).
