[Completed] [Q] Unable to manage user account on Nexus 7 2013 Stock Android 5.1.1 - XDA Assist

Hi guys,
I'm unable to manage my user account on my device. When I tap on my user account avatar in settings I get the "Unfortunately settings has stopped" message all the time.
I've tried wiping the cache partition but it didn't help.
I'm on stock Android 5.1.1 and the problem first occurred when ugraded to Android 5.1
Any suggestions?

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. It sounds like something happened when you updated. You might have to flash the factory image with fastboot and start over. If you don't know how to do that check your device specific forum, http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-7-2013

[Completed] [Q] Installed CWM on GS5, everything crashes.

Hello everyone,
This is my first ever post on XDA and I came here out of desperation.
Today I had rooted my galaxy s5 without any problems. Then I wanted to back my ROM up by using CWM.
I opened up CWM, backed my ROM up and rebooted my phone. This is where it all stopped working.
Homescreen didn't show up. All I'm seeing now when I power up my phone is "settings has stopped working".
Sometimes it shows something else and I just tap ok and another app would show up that ''has stopped working''.
I don't know what to do. I don't care about doing a factory reset. I just want to get some of my files back.
Forgive my extreme lack of knowledge.
BlearX
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Unfortunately, the s5 has a locked bootloader and you can't flash cwm on it. I would suggest you follow this to get your device running again. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51494717. Then look in the gs5 forum, general, and q&a, for further information. It's always good to do a lot our reading about your device before you do anything with it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5 Start with the stickied threads

[Completed] [Q] Unbrick Wiko Rainbow

Hey guys!
I have a huge problem with my Wiko Rainbow. Several months ago I waanted to flash a cfw, ending up in having no IMEI... I've tried so many different possible solutions, but today I can't remember which of those had fixed the problem.
For months there were no issues with the phone at all, but yesterday after booting there was a pop-up saying "System-UI crashed". It opened over and over again when I closed it and there was no way to browse to Xposed-Settings (I believe that one of the plug-ins had forced the issue), so my first thought was to wipe all to factory settings. But doing so caused the missing IMEI-problem again. Because I couldn't remember wich solution worked for me in the past, I stupidly downloaded some IMEI backup files and restored them, thinking to edit an existing IMEI is easier than write a new one, but this led to my situation now: the phone doesn't boot anymore, it keeps stuck in the WIKO-logo screen forever. Wiping data via recovery menu doesn't work, and the phone isn't recognized by my pc anymore, so I'm not able to flash a different rom or use the WIKO Updating Tool anymore...
So PLEASE help me bringing my phone to life again! I really don't know what to do know! Is it possible to fix my mistake? Or is it bricked for good??
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I think your only hope is to flash the stock firmware, which it sounds like you've already tried. Although this isn't the best thread to post in, but it's the best I can find, see if somkerman can help you here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/tutorial-t3070293/page2

Hello, and welcome to XDA! You could try going into recovery and wiping cache and dalvik. If that doesn't help, you could do a full wipe and flash your rom afresh, or another rom from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/development or http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/orig-development Finally, you can ask for help in the dedicated help forum for your device here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/help You will need to register to do this.
Good luck!
