Galaxy s pocket s5300

So I need to get a Quick and cheap replacement phone, and I figure a galaxy is my best bet. I found many variations of the gs1 on amazon, and I don't quite understand the differences. I plan on buying a "samsung galaxy s pocket s5300", but I'm wondering if roms and other software for the "samsung galaxy s1 4g" will work for it. I also have a feeling that this is an incredibly stupid question/topic, so my apologies if that is the case.

No, they're not the same model. The only forums supported on these forums are the Galaxy S 4G variants:

[Q] Should I get an S4 or HTC One

Hey guys. Over the last few weeks i've been debating over whether i should buy myself an S4 or HTC One. They're both awesome phones, which is making it all the harder for me to decide which one to get. So i decided to ask which one you guys would suggest.
I would mainly use the phone for heavy internet browsing and listening to music.
Also I will most likely put a custom rom on the phone so I dont really care about what software features it has.
Over here in Australia the HTC One costs $750 whereas the octa core galaxy S4 costs $699.
If you suggest a phone make sure to let me know why it's better than the other one.

$750 is ridiculous for the nexus 4 when it really should cost $300. Can you buy it in eBay from us seller? At that price difference definitely Samsung or the n new HTC. Newer more advanced phone, cheaper.

I replied in the official thread, but wanted to let you know that im not talking about the nexus 4, im talking about the Samsung galaxy s4 and the HTC One

HTC One is much cheaper you can get is for about $720 (second hand on eBay probably costs ~$500) and the quality that you get is pretty good. For example if you compare the quality of the pictures taken with both HTC One and Galaxy S4 there are almost no difference. However, if you are looking for a long battery life definitely S4 is better but more expensive though.
If I were you I would buy the HTC then use it for a couple of months and then buy another new phone

Like johngreener said, if you are looking for a new smartphone amazon is the best place for that. And I would suggest you to choose a Galaxy s3. It's much better than iPhone 5. But it's up to you.

Best method to import to UK from USA
Hello, forgive me if this is a common question but searching doesn't yield much info.
I'm considering a Samsung Galaxy 2 10.1 Tablet new or second hand but really want the USA spec as I believe the UK model has less features such as IR Blaster.
Can anyone advise best procedure to get one delivered to the UK from USA. I mean is eBay a good option or do some suppliers specialise in this type of thing. I just worry a little with regards to safe delivery and reliability.

Found a UK supplier of refurbished by Samsung Galaxy 2 10.1 models with the IR Blaster.
I mailed them to confirm and they replied that these were the US models with IR, at a good price but I worry how good a quality these would be.
Has anyone bought refurbished that can advise ?

I have bought a used one. (used = refurbished) At the prices they cost that seems the best way to buy. I got mine off eBay..

It's a flagship phone and you'll be getting new tech for sure. But be careful to buy from a reputable source as there are fakes of the S6 out there already.

I've not regretted buying mine
