I know it is not one of those high end phones but it is the only one I could afford.... can someone please help me??? thank you

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. It sounds to me like you need to flash the stock firmware. Unfortunately, there is nothing on XDA on how to do that. You might try going to your device's web site and seeing if there is any help there. Or posting your question here,http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help Sorry I can't be of more help

thank you I will try this and hope it will work

well I have been out of luck to find a way to do this maybe the locked bootloader on my kyocera rise? the force closes are more frequent as well as my other issues it is very hard to use my phone

[Q] Need help with N5

I HAD been using N5 with the first preview image of Android L released by Google. Today, I installed 'UnleashTheGoogle' api from AndroidPolice and the phone immediately rebooted. The problem is that now the phone is stuck in the continuous booting process and not able to recover from it. What shall I do now????
AndroidPolice LINK
I completely switched off the phone and fired it back again, but still same problem. Please help me guys..:cyclops:
p.s. i am a nOOb when it comes to flashing and all..so please excuse my lack of knowledge and explain in the layman's terms
Firstly, help people help you. A thread in this sub-forum can be assumed to be asking for info or help for the N5. "Need help with N5" isn't informative and a lot of people will simply ignore the thread.
Second, don't install apps without vetting them. A brief look at the comments should have clued you in to what would happen if you tried to install the apk while running L. I suggest you read the comments. Another person in your situation was able to recover.
Thanks for your response mate..I have flashed L back on the phone..and yeah..I should have read the comments first

[Completed] still need some help please

I have looked for help for awhile now but I am still looking... I have a kyocera rise c5155 ics 4.0.4 I have tried absolutely everything to fix the constant force closes... tho I have not been able to install a stock rom... I have a locked bootloader and it impedes my continuation on that path...is there anyone that could please help me???
Hi, as you know there is very little information about your device. Have you tried a hard factory reset? That's the only thing I can suggest.
yes thank you I have done the reset about 5 times this is so frustrating

[Completed] [Q] Unlocked HTC One m7 update

I recently bought an unlocked att htc one m7 and am currently using it on tmobile. After messing with the apn settings i got all the data and mms working, but i still cant figure out how to upgrade it. I downloaded the RUU from htc and tried running that but whenever it starts up the bootloader i will get an error and it will say usb malfunction and then nothing. I also tried to load the rom itself onto the phones root, but when i boot in recovery mode i will select to flash from internal and it will quickly load a few short lines of code that go too fast to read (i think it says failed) and then reboot instantly. Ive been at this for hours and cant find this particular problem anywhere. If anyone can help me, i just want the normal unmodded updates without unlocking my bootloader or turning s-off. Im running android 4.1.2 currently

No problem. That's what XDA Assist is for. We're here to point you in the right direction. There is a lot of good information in that forum. Just take your time and read a lot and in no time you'll feel much more comfortable. Good luck!

[Completed] Soft bricked our development phone SM-G900x

Hi, One of our games is having multiplayer issues on Google Play due to it not supporting Lolipop.
We figured we would take our Galaxy SM-G900x phone that a client sent us and then using the info that iorya984 posted would do the trick.
Now the phone can still be readied for download with Odin but on boot up it asks for Kies to fix a botched upgrade.
Any help on this would be massively appreciated! We really do not want to buy a new phone. Even if we could flash it with the original SM-G900x rom I would be happy. (save us having to buy 2 phones.)
Cheers!
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. It looks like someone else has had the same issue and has posted a solution to your issue. See this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2733083 If you have further questions try posting in that thread as they are more familiar with the device than anyone on XDA Assist.
