I noticed that sometimes while in pocket, the camera app just randomly opens even though I felt that I didn't really press the home button twice to open it and sometimes the lock screen unlocks while in pocket...really weird...
Does somebody else experience something similar?
I've never seen the screen turn on by itself but I have noticed when I unlock it, sometimes it's running some app that I never opened.

Has anyone else had issues with waking up the phone?
Every so often when I hit the power button to wake the phone, the screen turns on but looks super glitchy for a second or so, then shows the normal unlock screen.
When I unlock the phone, it instantly turns the screen black. The phone is still "on" as I can push icons, etc. If i push home the phone still vibrates but the screen will not "re-awake" unless I push the power off and on again. This has been happening quite a bit and is annoying to say the least. I also seem to be having in phone calls with the light sensor as the screen goes black just as I am about to push push buttons while I am in a call.
Is this just me or are others affected by this. I didn't see this issue discussed within all the other reboot/glitches threads.....
Mine is a little lagy when unlocking and occasionally I get a weird squiggly looking screen for a moment, then it is fine.
I assumed it was because I have a SetCPU profile set to 216 with a priority of 100 when the screen is off.
Mine when I unlock it it stays on the lock screen. The phone is still "unlocked", but it shows the lock screen and it doesn't change no matter how many times I lock and unlock. It is very annoying. I got it on CM7, Bionix, and the GB leak. I went back to stock 2.2.2 just because of this reason. Anyone know what it could be?

Hi,
So basically there's been times (much more frequent over the past days) where I press the power button to wake the device, but nothing on the screen displays (it just remains black). However, when I touch the screen (i.e. at the lock ring) the device vibrates so the device is technichally on, but nothing is displayed on screen?
How do I fix this problem? I've read about others experiencing similar problems, but is there a fix?
Help would be greatly appreciated!

Hmm I have snapchat installed too, so maybe that's the problem? Yes, sometimes I'll leave an app open like whatsapp or snapchat
Hello everyone.
I have a couple of problem with my xperia Z3. The problem is that when i press the side button to lock the phone, the phone get locked but the screen seems to be still on(and then turn completely off after a few seconds) . I mean that even if the phone is locked it's like i am seeing a completely black image. This doesn't always happens with Android KitKat but with the Lollipop upgrade i made yesterday flashing a generic Baltic firmware, the problem got worse! When it happens the screen stays on even after few seconds and it doesn't turn off and i'm forced to restart the phone to "solve" the problem. If it helps, when the phone locks fine the screen turns off immediatly but when the phone has this problem when i press the lock button i can see for a moment the screen locked, with the clock, the padlock icon, the fast dial icon and the fast camera icon ecc and then the screen turn black(but still on) like "something is slowing/blocking the phone from getting locked"
The second problem that i have is that sometimes when i make a call or recieve one when i put the phone to my ear the screen doesn't turn off and the tousch screen still works making me end the call unintentionally touching the screen with my ear for example. I haven't had this problem yet with Lollipop, but I used to have it with KitKat. Anyway this is the less important problem that i'd like to solve because even if the phone should work proprely by itself i can always accept the call and then lock the screen with the side button "solving" the problem of unintentionally ended calls. But the first problem really bothers me a lot and i'd really like to know how to solve it.
Does anyone have at least one of this two problems and knows how to solve them? Thank you !
I'm sorry for my english and i hope i've explained myself well. I've just restarted the phone so the problem at the moment doesn't persist but the next time it will happend i will make a short video to make you see exactly what happens or if you think that this two problem could be caused by an app just tell me and I will write you a list off the app that i've installed.

I had the same problem. And got it fixed by disable and enable "adaptive brightness" .

Maybe you're accidently hitting the home button twice everytime you unlock it.

No, i'm not accidently hitting the home button because i have turn the feauture off in the settings. This morning it happend two times already! Nobody having this problem?
Did it do this with the feature turned on? What happens when you unlock the screen using the power button or the wave gesture?

Yes, i have done it with the feature turnd on also and tried with power button and gestures but still have the problem. I have noticed something weird, when i lock the phone after like one second it turns on and then when i unlock it it goes to the camera app. Something triggers the camera app and i know it's not me. I have flashed the stock rom and rooted the phone and still have this problem! This is very frustrating! I dont know what else to do

Do you have any apps that might have triggered this behaviour. It's almost always a dogy app triggering it. Just a thought.

No, nothing that can be related to the camera. I dont have a lot of apps installed on my phone so it can't be that. It's indeed a very strange behaviour.
I have a similar problem. When I unlock the phone sometimes the camera will open. Sometimes dialer , messages, gallery, browser all kind of apps will open by it self. Normally happens with the finger print security turned on. Will try using notmal lock screen to see if it still happens
Just checking. You know if you swipe upd into the middle from the right bottom corner from the lock screen. It automatically unlocks to camera.

Fingerprint works and hear the unlock sound but screen takes to 3-4 seconds to open. This sometimes happen when i have my phone turned off and i turn it on. Because i dont use it as main yet as i wait for case to arrive... and sometimes i have to restart it a few times in order to use fingerprint unlock properly.. Anybody else have this issue???? I hear the unlock sound but screen switches on after like 3-4 seconds.. i dont know if its software or got a faulty device... thanks

I believe it's software. Using the system test tool, the fingerprint sensor detects 100% of the time. So I think it's the software issue. I'm using avast to secure some of my apps with fingerprint as well. The fingerprint for avast also works intermittently, sometimes it doesn't detect at all (no vibration) although I keep moving my finger around the sensor. There seems to be some software integration issue with the sensor.

I don't see that behavior on my phone.
On screenlock, takes less than 1 sec to get my home screen rendered. I hear the unlock sound and it's almost instantaneous.
Stock ROM and launcher.

Well usually happens when i have it turned off cos im still waiting for bloody amazon to ship my spigen case... If i restart it and sometimes restart it couple of times its okay like you say.. but havent tested it in long run if it gets slowly again.. just i noticed this and wanted to ask
