[APP][2.0+]Picture Password Lockscreen V2.9.1

Picture Password Lockscreen allows you to unlock your phone by drawing gestures such as points, lines, and circles on your chosen images. It frees users from the traditional and less secure unlock methods because there are close to an infinite number of combination of gestures. It provides an effective layer of protection against the two most common methods of illegal access gaining to a device- brute-force password hacking and shoulder-surfing.
Forget PIN codes or patterns, you can now draw points, lines, and/or circles to unlock your phone.
To setup, select the background image and draw the gestures. To unlock, draw the saved gestures on the lockscreen.

Will this app work on devices with enterprise accounts that require a pin, etc.? I'm guessing no, but I'm hoping it's yes as there aren't any disclaimers.

There is an option to not override the stock Android lockscreen so Picture Password will display after the stock lockscreen. Android requires Secure lockscreen (PIN, passcode etc.) if you have enterprise or VPN set up

forgive me ignorance but how do i install as system app? copy to /system/app and open app from there?
Hey, kevdliu, I really like what you have going here. I have a suggestion that will really put this over the top. If you could have a series of pictures cycle while you made gestures, confirming each gesture. Think of a image of a traffic light, it starts with a red light, then you make the first gesture and it goes yellow, and then the second makes it go green unlocking the phone. Anyways, good luck with the app.

Easy way is to use titanium backup
and convert to system app. Manual way is to copy com.twinblade.picturepassword.apk to system/app and reboot
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
IDK if this is just me, but I keep having an issue where the image I am drawing on shows up very small in the center of an otherwise black screen. IDK if this might be a Jelly Bean issue (OP's screenshots looked like ICS). In addition, I am running a CM10 nightly, so there could be an issue there. Still, I thought you should be aware of the glitch (I can send screenshots if you want). Awesome to see someone bring this to Android; I am interested to see how it progresses.
Nice! Really like this
One thing I'm missing is that I would like to disable it from Tasker..
When I'm at home I don't have any security lock screen..
Thanx!

Can't find com.twinblade.picturepassword.apk even with ES Explorer Search.
Can you explain how to do it with TitaniumBackup exactly, must I have a Pro version?
Thanks in advance.
Really nice job, but I have an idea!
Hello. I want to tell app is great, but theres one thing that should(in my opion) added to configuration. I mean, when we run app, we have to set wallpaper, gestures, but theres no option to set backup PIN, and if somebody make a mistake or do something to quick, and didnt set PIN code in preferences may lost control above device Let me know, what You think about it!
StatusBar expand on SGS3
Hi,
In preferences I have selected 'Disable Status Bar Expand'.
But it is still possible to expand the the status bar at the lockscreen.
My Device:
Samsung Galaxy S3 (international version) with Android 4.0.4, stock, not rooted.
Screenshots:

I like the app ! Good work !
works beautifully on my S3...thank you for this...definitely worth donating for future development
Looks really good so far!
If those 2 features get added, I will gladly pay for the Pro version:
1. Record a custom unlock pattern with taps, lines and circles (= no limit to just 1 tap, 1 line and 1 circle)
2. Tasker integration to toggle the lockscreen on and off.
Keep up the good work! :good:
Excellent
Nice work. I really like not having to have sliders and buttons on my lockscreen.

[APP][4.0+] Kiosk Browser/Launcher

Whilst working on a Kiosk project at work, I found that most of the Kiosk applications on Google Play are either bloated, expensive (some 30 GBP + per device) or unstable. So I decided to bite the bullet and write my own version, of which can be found below:
Kiosk Web Browser/Launcher has been designed for use on tablets or phones and is great for creating public kiosks, digital signage etc....
Key features:
- Set as default launcher
- Set default kiosk home page
- Keep screen on permanently
- Reload page on idle timeout
- Lock Screen Rotation
- Disable access to settings - via default intent

- Hide menu items (settings is then accessible via blank square in the top right hand corner)
- Hidden notification bar
- Locked back button
- Disable access to recent apps
- Load website in desktop mode (user agent)
- Customisable application title
- Optional pinch & double-tap zooming
- Optional back & forward buttons
Tested on Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and a ViewSonic VS220 smart monitor.
All comments & suggestions welcome.

Improvements to disabling system bar buttons
Added lights out for system bar (shows dots rather than normal home symbol etc...)
Fixed rotation issues
Added optional pinch & double-tap zooming
Added optional back & forward buttons
Added spinner to indicate the page is loading

v1.03 - Added option to disable caching
v1.02 - You can now hide the menu items and access settings via long press & hold on the screen
v1.01 - Added support for javascript alerts
Initial release
Single app vs. web browser
How difficult would it be to launch and arbitrary app instead of the web browser?
There seems to be this distinction between 'web browser kiosk' software and 'single app kiosk'. I would think most of the functionality is duplicated (overriding default behaviors, hiding UI elements, power management, etc)
Hi,
This app doesn't just launch the browser it is a browser based on the Android Webview. Disabling system functions for a 3rd party app is more difficult to achieve but not impossible.

Quite nice app and concept. But could really do with icon pack support.
Oh, and I had idea that I'd like the shortcuts to just appear at certain times like when connected to Bluetooth in my car. Then I'd have access to other apps when using satnav etc. But when I start app it opens main app rather than just launching existing shortcuts. Is this possible to do? Thanks.

Thanks for implementing the GPS/Bluetooth switch. Would like to see them toggle on AND off with Bluetooth etc though. And even bigger shortcuts too. And if the app is swept from recents to remove shortcuts, they won't toggle back with GPS etc. So some sort of ongoing service would be a good idea. Please continue development as this has potential!

About
- ON/OFF toggles > thr is system toggles in notification and i don't think it s necessary for floating one However there s limitation for some features like GPS.
- Remove app from Recent > these shortcuts are services depend on app so when u remove the app they should stop too. otherwise lots of app can run service that cause huge battery draining.
- there is 3 sizes for shortcuts. do you mean bigger than 'Big' option?
:good:
I don't mean system toggle. When I tested it, the app would switch on the shortcuts on connection to Bluetooth etc, but wouldn't switch them off on disconnect. I also think the shortcuts should be even bigger than big! I could retest if you send across an apk!

[APP][4.1+] Screen Lock (One touch to lock screen) v.1.0.21

Just one touch to turn off and lock screen.
"Screen Lock" provides different kinds of shortcuts (buttons):
- The shortcut on home screen
- The shortcut in the notification
- The shortcut floating on the screen (The button floating on any application)
We provide many icons to apply to each kind of shortcut.
Floating shortcut supports more customization features:
- Modify the size of icon
- Modify the alpha of icon
- Automatically hide the floating shortcut in fullscreen mode
- Support to select icon from gallery
- Vibrate when screen is locked
- Support to play sounds when locking screen
- Support to display Weather information (New!)
The hardware power button of some devices is not well designed. The frequent use to power on/off may damage it. The different kinds of shortcuts provide by our app can replace it and extend it’s life time. They can lock and turn off screen without pressing hardware power button immediately.
You can install the attached APK or download the latest version (Free) from the Google Play at

Nice App
Very impressed. Really cute application.
cool app dude.
How often weather updates, or how to update manually?
Thanks [emoji106]
Weather info will automatically update every an hour by service provider’s suggestion since their weather data is updated every three-four hours.
In current design, you need to disable and enable floating shortcut again to trigger weather update.
If you have any suggestion, please feel free to let us know. Thanks!
