Hello guys, I just brought Xperia M2 D2302 and I've seen that there isn't any custom ROM for it.
So can anyone, or guide me through the process of porting CM12.1 ROM or any other ROM to my device?
You won't be able to port it, wait for the devs to do it. They know what they're doing.

Owners of Sony Xperia Miro are not going to get jelly bean update, so as one, I found this on forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2137561 . I am new user so I can't even comment on post(?!) so I ask you devs, is anyone working on this or does this rom work on Miro?
Thats for xperia s a higher spec phone so no it will not work on miro. If there is not a thread in development section for a rom then its not available for your phone.

Thank you!

I think this is the closest as Tipo and Miro will get to Xperia Z (jellybean) a-like ROM for now.
Although, it IS based on CM10.

It will take some time before completely new ROM will (possibly) be developed. Theres a chance they will never come.
Great news, everyone!
Sony announced the list of devices for which the Android 6.0 binaries will be available and the Xperia E3 is present on that list.
In fact, all Sony devices which are using Qualcomm chipsets and were released from 2014 till now are present.
Even if having the binaries doesn't guarantee the presence of a fully working Marshmallow ROM for E3 at least Sony lend the developers a hand
So if anyone wants to try and cook a Marshmallow ROM for the E3 now has the chance to do it
I know the 4GB nand is a real problem and the main reason for not getting Lollipop (which isn't something that E3 misses because it's full of bugs and it lags even after almost one year from launch) but with Marshmallow we get FULL sd-card support so we can increase the internal memory partition using sd-cards.
I really believe that this is a good chance for us to get someting done for the E3.
I just hope that the devs will take a look on our device

Wish you all the best!:good:
So we need linux to develop marshmallow? I have downloaded the binaries but I have no idea how to do it. If someone could give me slight hint on how this works I might be able to work I guess.

It should be enough to get started.
Maybe some other more experienced users will give a hand on this project.
Cheers!:good:

Hello,
Im new to xda and bit new to custom roms things. I have been using C 2305 (rooted but locked bootloader) as a backup and want to know if I can upgrade or replace the stock kernel? My phone is running with Sony EdEx Z3 rom with 5.0.2 theme.
