Hey Guys/Gals,
I am having issues connecting a Fitbit One with the Verizon Galaxy S6.
I see the S6 is not on the supported devices list, but the list I pulled up may not be up to date since the S6 wasn't released all that long ago.
Does anyone know what the problem may be?

Are you using the Fitbit app? My Fitbit connected with no issues using the app. I turn on bluetooth and swipe the bluetooth menu away. Open the app and it connects.
You don't need to pair your tracker in the Bluetooth settings. Just use the Fitbit app and it will find it as long as Bluetooth is turned on.
Using a fitbit flex with zero issues now

Have a fitbit flex, my s7edge picks up the flex but it says pairing rejected by flex. With the app all syncs well but i need to have a data connection with bluetooth on to be able to sync... any ideas how to solve this? I have reset my flex multiple times already and even uninstalled and then reinstalled the fitbit app

Hi
I promise i have searched anbd searched and i cant find anything similar to the problem im having.
Im now on my second HTC One S and still im having the same issue.
The problem seems to occur in the following situation but sometimes it can happen just randomly.
Connect the phone to Parrot Bluetooth in car.
Play music through audio lead not Bluetooth using Spotify
Start Sygic Navigation or Google Navigation
All of a sudden the screen starts going mad like someone is continually pressing the home button, and it also seems to screenshot it into my pictures gallery
as you can see below.
This behaviour can go on for ages until you press the power button, which seems to calm it down, or maybe it just carries on when yo unlock the phone again.
I used to do the same kind of multi tasking on My HTC Desire no problems, but now its impossible, and very frustrating. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Many Thanks
Chris

Today I opened my shiny new Jaybird Bluebuds X and going through the manual, I ran into this little feature:

There's an app that can read the battery level on Plantronics headsets, why is there no app that can do this for others? Windows Phone apparently is able to read this too. The only big Bluetooth Headset battery app for Android calculates it based on connection time. I was never able to use it properly with my older Jaybird Freedom headphones because I was always losing the data and/or forgetting to run it to start tracking the usage.
I know this is a Nexus 5 thread, but I'm just wondering if anyone has found a way to get this on Android, or would be interested in getting a bounty going. I'll be happy to pledge some money towards this, being pretty much clueless about app development.
It's not that big of a deal, but the battery warning on these Jaybirds is very annoying, beeping constantly when it's about to run out. Nothing that a consistent charging schedule can't fix, and with a regular micro USB connector, a quick charge in the car will keep them charged up.
I'm just sad that we're missing on a tiny but cool feature.
I have been experiencing terrible wake locks on my s6 edge ever since pairing the watch to the phone. I dont see anyone complaining about it so i'm guessing its an issue with my set up. I'm attaching a screenshot. Btw its showing as bt host wake lock on BBS

I am not sure over what period of time for which you are showing data. My last boot was about 24 hours ago and I the Gear Plugin has used 21mAh with a keep awake of 12m 25s and CPU total of 4m25s. I have been using the S2 on my Nexus 6 running a CM variant (AICP) for about two months with no battery drain problems.
Hope that helps.
Fred
I am getting this wakelock, BeaconBle_WakeLock which is draining my battery at times fairly quickly. Its on and off and I don't seem to figure out the exact reason why it happens. Betterbatterystats shows that it is due to Google Play Services. Has anyone else faced this issue and was able to resolve?
Attaching some screenshots as well-
I am getting it too on my galaxy note 5(extreme debloated rom)

Same for my on my (non-rooted) Galaxy S7. Any help appreciated...
Beacon_Ble seems to be somehow connected to Bluetooth connections.
It seems to me, however, that Wakelocks are significantly reduced after switching off location services.
I disabled a lot of stock bloatware with package disabler. Perhaps that's somehow the issue here...
Same Problem Here. S6 edge plus, verizon, stock rom. In my case, I have noticed the beacon ble wakelock after disconnecting from my car audio system. Stays on, not too much luck stopping it without a reset. Toggling bt on and off has mixed results. I'm going to try turning bluetooth without connecting to anything to see if I still get the issue.
UPDATE- Yeah. I definitely get the wakelock after toggling bluetooth off.
Looks like we have to live with it
Hello people, I'm trying to connect the stereo to a special BT device of the car that I use to tune, with this device I see specific gauges and I can configure the original ecu of the car for whatever I want, with the cell phone I managed to connect without drama, but with the application from the stereo I can not, does not even recognize the BT signal of the device, even a friend with an iPhone the same thing happens, what could it be?
The device is a jb4.
Thanks!

No. The built-in bluetooth is for phone calls only.
Use USB devices for tuning instead

Oh I see, there is any way to change that with software or change de BT module on the unit?
I just found out that the device I want to connect to is of type BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy),
Any ideas?
