[Q] MX Player suddenly switches to HW mode - MX Player

Hi,
I'm using a Vega S89-H TV Box (firmware build 112k4) and it seems if I allow MX Player to continously play some files I downloaded from Youtube then it won't be able to use HW+ mode anymore until I reboot the TV Box.
Attached is the bug report file.

Also I didn't encounter this in version 1.7.31 and 1.7.32 (which I upgraded from) .

The issue is not with MX Player. It's with your ROM. Some improper installations & the left overs leads to the issue lollipop.
Grab the MX Player ( the one without codec) & x86 codec pack. Try to install it manually.
If you are still facing the issue, the following tutorial may help to fix the issue.

Can't install MX Player 1.35.3

I've just downloaded MX Player 1.35.3 (arm-v7a) of the official website https://mx.j2inter.com/download and when I tried installing the file I'm getting an error message stating "there was a problem while parsing the package".
But when I tried installing MX Player 1.35.3 (arm64-v8a) I was successfully able to install the file.
My issue is I need the arm-v7a version of Mx player, I have also previously downloaded a arm-v7a Mx Player file before (1.35.2) off your website and I've had successfully installed the file onto my device.
Ps: I don't have any Mx Player app installed on my device whilst I'm trying to install this new file.

We regret the inconvenience caused and thank you for bringing this to our notice.
We have updated the download links. Please check again now, and you shouldn't have this problem. Meanwhile, please let us know why do you prefer the arm-v7a version over arm64-v8a one. Using the arm64-v8a version will improve the decoding speed up to 30%. So, we recommend using it unless there is a strong reason to prefer arm-v7a builds.

Hello,
Thank you for getting back to me, and that's ok.
Thank you for updating all the links
Also the reason why i need the arm-v7a file is because my device simply doesn't support arm64-v8a.

[Bug] MX Player doesn't open in Android 14 DP 1

Hi, I flashed Android 14 DP 1 yesterday and MX Player Pro doesn't open. It simply gets stuck on a blue screen with logo on it. MX Player (free version) opens but shows an error "Component files are corrupted or Android internal modules are not compatible with current version of MX Player." I have attached logcat for troubleshooting. Thanks.
MX Player free version 1.62.1 beta can now open in Android 14 DP2. Not sure if there is an equivalent Pro version available. If anyone knows how to download the above beta version of Pro, please do let me know.
